Chapter 4: Act like a Girl!

Kim Residence

No one's POV

It's been a about two hours since Taeyeon fainted, so it's about time she wake up now. The girls in the building needed the kid leader to get rid of the awkwardness at the moment, Sunny can't fend this off by herself for too long.

"So...."Sooyoung started as she watched the younger Kim sibling make herself lunch. "You're Tae's younger sister?"

Hyoyeon stopped a bit and looked at the Shikshin standing at her side. Drooling at the dish she was making. "Ne.." she smiled awkwardly.

"My name is Choi Sooyoung."Sooyoung greeted with a kind smile. "I'm a part of Girls' Generati-"

"Yea, I know."Hyoyeon nodded her head slightly. " I also know you're a shik shin, Tae-noona told me all about you girls." She explained with an awkward smile. "Hmmm...And let me guess... you want some?"She asked while motioning to the said food.

Sooyoung couldn't help but laugh a bit at the blonde's words. She pats her back in satisfaction while nodding her head, "You learn fast. I like you."She pulled Hyoyeon in for a tight hug, hugging her from the front. Causing the other to stiffen in surprise.

Hyoyeon's face couldn't help but turn a little red in embarrassment. Seconds later though, Sunny cuts in and moves the two a part. "Enough of that, don't you remember what I told you about close contact with Hyoyeon? She's a bit uncomfortable with it."The shorter girl stared up at the shikshin with a serious gleam in her eyes.

In all honesty, Hyoyeon liked the Physical contact.....of course she would. Before she became a 'she', there was the time she was a dude. It may have seemed that she was the prim and proper dude but she was hormornal too, what person wasn't hormornal? Yes, she's 22... and a girl now... but her hormonal teeneage boy state of mind was still there, lingering within her...

Sunny wouldn't allow this type of contact because of that, not until she knew the other girl was trust-worthy and wouldn't do anything inappropriate to her memebers. So for now, she's trying to keep the contact low.

Sooyoung rose a brow at the danshin before looking at the pot on the stove, "Hyoyeon-ah, noodles!"Sooyoung whimpered, motioning to the pot. Hyoyeon quickly got back to focusing on the food, cooking up more for both herself and Sooyoung.

Minutes after, when Hyoyeon was finishing up the cooking, Sunny and Sooyoung go back into the living room to check on the others, everything was still the same. Especially the part where Taeyeon was still out of it.

"Gosh, she's having a Jessica episode right now."Yuri sighed, staring at the kid leader on the couch.

"Yul..."Jessica eyed the dark skinned girl with raised brows, her glares cold as it reached the Black Pearl's heart, causing her to shiver. "What was that...?"

"A-Ah....Nothin'"Yuri smiled gently before inching away from the Ice Princess. Standing besides Yoona.

Jessica rolled her eyes and looked at Taeyeon now, "I wanna sleep.."She suddenly stated, crossing her legs as she sat on the recliner chair comfortably.

"Ice Princess is at it again." Sooyoung laughed, getting a glare from her teasing target at the time. "B-But that's okay~~"She purred nervously, not wanting to recieve any wrath either as she moved to Yoona's side too. Yoona rose a brow at her two unnies and shook her head slightly.

"Sooyoung, the ramen is done now."Hyoyeon called out as she walked in the living room with two bowls of kimchi ramen, focused on the bowls as she moved. When close, she handed one over to Sooyoung before taking her own and sitting on her favorite recliner seat.

"Yaayy~~ Thank you Hyoyeo---ahhfggg!!"Sooyoung choked a bit on air. Eyes widened as she froze in place.

"I hope it's to your liking?...."Hyoyeon commented as she held her chopsticks and stared down at the bowl in front of her. Shuffling around uncomfortably in her seat.

"Unnhhh....Wait... Hyoyeon-ah... I think you should mov--"

"Urrghuuu.."A small moan was heard from the couch. All eyes turn to there to see Taeyeon was slowly sitting up. Using her elbows as support before taking one hand and rubbing her head with it. "What happened..."She mumbled.

"Unnie!"Seohyun cheered in awe as she hugged the shorter girl tightly, "You're awake."Sunny and Yoona join in on hugging her while the others look back to Hyoyeon. The blonde happy as she placed her bowl down on the table close by her seat.

"Noona!~~"Hyoyeon purred. "You're awake~~"

Taeyeon turned her head to look at the other blonde in the room, confusion on her face. After that, realization, and then.... shock. Sunny was reminded of what had happened, she quickly got to Hyoyeon's side and pulled her off of her seat.

"Noona??"Hyoyeon stared at the shorter blonde in confusion. She then looked at her recliner seat to see it was occupied from the beginning. "Oh my god..."Her cheeks grew a bit red, she just figured out that she had been using Jessica's lap as a seat. "Jessica-noona, I'm so sorry!"The blonde went closer to the princess nervously, "I d-didn't mean to sit on your lap noona, I meant to seat on the recliner chai--"

"Unnie..."A soft voice came from Jessica's voice as she looked away with a red face.

"Nnnhh?"Hyoyeon stared at the american girl in confusion. "What did you say noona? I couldn't hear you.."She states silently with furrowed brows.

"Why are you calling me 'noona'?!"Jessica snapped and glared, glaring with the coldest glare she's ever given out. From what the girls of Girls' Generation witnessed and experienced.

"Eh..??"The other was shocked by the sudden snappyness, she thought about it for a bit. "Oh! I don't wanna be rude and just call you by name..."Hyoyeon was being a bit dense in the situation, causing Jessica to grow even more frustrated. She's even standing up from her seat now.

"You're-- I can't believe you--!! Arghh!"Jessica stomped up to Hyoyeon and poked at her chest roughly, " The appropriate title, stupid..."her finger stayed there, touching the other's chest. "'unnie'..."

"Ehhhhhh...."Hyoyeon let her words trail a bit as she stared blankly at Jessica. Eyes squinted as she looked closely."Y'know....Noona is so pretty up close."She commented, without thinking again.

Jessica was taken a back, surprised by Hyoyeon's words. The others were too, staring in awe and weary.

Hyoyeon herself was surprised by her own words, she really needed to think before speaking. "O-Oh well uhhnn...."She turned her attention to Taeyeon quickly to get out of the awkward situation. "N-Noona, how are you feeling??"Hyoyeon rushed to her side and took hold of the other's hands firmly.

"You..."Taeyeon stared a bit. She stood up, a bit woobly. With the help of Hyoyeon though she was stable again. "We need to talk, Sunny... Let's go to Hyo....yeon's room..."She says awkwardly, walking out of said person's arms. Sunny nodded her head slightly as she and Hyoyeon follow Taeyeon silently to Hyoyeon's room. Which should still be the same room seven months ago.

The other girls watch them leave in silence, waiting to hear a door shut before outbursting into a heated chat about what just happened.

"Oh my god, she was totally checking you out."Sooyoung commented, looking at Jessica. "What are your thoughts on that?"

"What exactly are you expecting me to say?"Jessica crossed her arms and glared at the taller girl.

"Are you gonna accept the forbidden love?"Sooyoung stared as Yuri leaned on her, both staring at Jessica with the same excited expression.

"Are you kidding me right now? It might just be admiration."Jessica scoffed, denying the idea of forbidden love blossoming. She wasn't against it or anything, it's just that it sounded a bit unnatural since they just met and all... That and Jessica was treating Hyoyeon badly, so why would she like her? "Girls admire each other, it's natural."

"There is that."Seohyun nodded with a thoughtful look as all eyes turn to her. "But... Hyoyeon-unnie uses 'Noona', as if she were a guy. Females rarely use that term to refer to females older than them.."She points out, staring at Jessica. The girl realizing that fact too.

".."Jessica's mind began to run as she thought about it too now. "Okay...yea, she uses that but.... we just met, and I'm a part of girls' generation... She might just be a fan?"

"Fine fine fine, we'll go along with your denial."Yuri laughed. "Don't blame us if we're right though and she actually likes you."

"Idiots.."Jessica sighed heavily, saying that in english.

Hyoyeon's Room

Moving on, we go to the three that had gone to another room to talk. Hyoyeon looked around, feeling a bit of satisfaction and comfort when they entered her room. It was still the same as before, she guessed Taeyeon didn't touch anything in there because of how neat it still looks.

The owner of the room took a seat on the bed and then turned to face the older girls. Smiling at them happily, especially at Taeyeon.

The kid leader gulped heavily when she saw that and rubbed at her arm nervously. "..... Is that really...M-My Hyoraengi..??"

"Noona..."Hyoyeon's expression turned to a disappointed one. Her older sister was still having doubts of this. "It's me..."She shook the disappointment off and nodded her head, understanding the other girl's situation a bit.

"Sunny... Explain it to me a bit, you talked to that man right...?"Taeyeon turned too the girl, a bit weary of Hyoyeon's words still.

"Ah, Seunghyun-oppa."Sunny nodded her head slightly as she looked from Hyoyeon to Taeyeon. "He's-- I mean, she's speaking the truth Tae."Sunny motioned to the blonde sitting on the bed slowly. "That is your brother, H.Y. AKA Hyoyeon. Seunghyun-oppa said that there was a mix-up at the hospital that caused this to happen. If you're still hesitant about that, there's paper work at the hospital. Legit paperwork, Tae. Also, there was one more thing Seunghyun-oppa told me... Hyoyeon-ah is still--"

"Oh my god..."Taeyeon didn't need anymore information, she believed it when Sunny agreed that it was H.Y. Taeyeon ran to the comfortable girl on the bed and hugged her tightly. "Hyoraengi!"She whimpered, tears forming at her eyes.

"Noona.."Hyoyeon whimpered too, hugging back tightly.

Before anything could get anymore touching between the two, Sunny cuts in and pulled Taeyeon off of Hyoyeon.

The kid leader stared up at the other girl in confusion and sadness. "Wae?"She whined loudly.

"Tae, let me finish my sentence from before."Sunny sighed, patting the leader's arm softly. "Hyoyeon is still half-male, she still has her lower region." Sunny explained seriously.

"That's it?"Taeyeon pouted, "I don't care about that."She went back to hugging Hyoyeon tightly. "Hyoraengi is still my Hyoraengi~~"

"Not only that but, Seunghyun-oppa wants Hyoyeon to be a part of Girls' Generatio--"

"Okay!"Taeyeon nodded, agreeing already. Determination written all over on her face as she gave a thumbs up.

"That isn't for you to decide yet, Tae, we need to get the company and our manager's permission."Sunny sighed heavily at the leader's carelessness. "Let's talk to them tomorrow."She suggested.

"Ne."Taeyeon nods and cuddles into Hyoyeon. The other girl in bliss from her older sister's warmth. "Hyooo~~"

"Noonnaa~~"Hyoyeon laughed lowly.

Taeyeon moved back and whacked the younger, eyes widened.

"Ow!!"Hyo stared back, eyes widened in surprised. "N-Noona??" She rubbed slowly at the spot Taeyeon hit.

"Have you been saying that the whole time??"Taeyeon looked a bit worried.

"Unfortunately, yes."Sunny answered, rubbing her forehead softly in frustration. "I don't think anyone's bothered by it though, since Hyoyeon is a bit boyish, even while with that look. It might seem natural because of that..."she explained hesitantly.

"Still... You need to act more like a girl!"Taeyeon stared, crossing her arms as she sat away from the other girl to look at her properly. "You're a girl now Hyoraengi, act like one.."

"But Noona, I'm originally a guy.."Hyoyeon frowned, staring her older sister silently.

"Okay...yeah that makes sense, but at least make an effort to try and act like a girl?" Taeyeon stared. "For me?~"

"Honestly you're gonna have to start making an effort, Hyoyeon-ah."Sunny commented, sitting between the two siblings. "Seunghyun-oppa said he wanted us to get you into Girls' Generation, to do that you're gonna need a femenim touch, along with a cute side."

"Sunny made a point, once again, points are being made here."Taeyeaon laughed a bit. "Let's start practicing and studying, Hyoraeng--"

"Nu-uh, no calling her that nickname."Sunny turned to face the kid leader now. "Get used to calling her something else."She suggested.

"Ehhh!?"Taeyeon stared in surprise. "Whhhyy??"

"Why would you give both your 'siblings' the same nickname??"Sunny obviously stated. "It'd be weird enough if you started calling her that nickname around the other girls, Hyoyeon-ah already acts like a guy. You're just gonna get them thinking about it and putting the puzzle together."

"Honestly, Sunny-noona...."Hyoyeon spoke up, causing the shorter to turn to her. "What's wrong with the other members of GG finding out I'm actually Taeyeon's brother?... I don't really mind.."

"Do you not really mind, Hyoyeon-ah?"Sunny leaned in, staring at the other closely. "Are you sure about that? Are you prepared to work with girls who know your secret? Who might not even accept the truth and feel uncomfortable around you...."

Hyoyeon looked a bit hesitant now as she thought about it.

Sunny didn't stop there though, she continued on with her persuasion trick. "Y'know, Hyoyeon-ah... We heard before from Taeyeon that your type of girl is Tiffany..."She pointed out, causing the blonde to look up quickly eyes widened. Wondering where the danshin was going with this. "Are you ready to accept Fany's feelings if she's uncomfortable with being around you?"

"Oh my god... You're right...."Hyoyeon was a bit shocked at this revelation. ".. I need to do something..."She continued to think.

"Seriously? You're gonna make an effort because she brought up Fany?"Taeyeon stared at Hyoyeon with a small pout.

"Sorry Noona.."Hyoyeon smiled nervously. "You're my sister but Stephanie is my Bias... She's really pretty..."She reminded herself while thinking about the said girl.

"..."Taeyeon reached out and bonked Hyoyeon on the head.

"Anyways, since Hyoyeon-ah will try to make the effort, let's help her out Tae."Sunny suggests as she stood up. "It's the least we can do since we know the truth."

"I was gonna help from the very beginning, this is my brother. Why wouldn't I help out?"Taeyeon nodded, "Besides, her looks and personality are bothering me, we need to fix it up a bit."

"Do I really have to change...?"Hyoyeon pouted a bit. "Like fully??"

"Aniyo."Taeyeon shook her head. "You don't have to fully change, we just need you to keep up an image for when you get into GG. Around us and the other girls, you can be as boyish as you want but with limitations of course."

"Okay.. I guess..."Hyo looked down at her lap and fiddled with her fingers silently.

"Don't be down Hyoyeon-ah."Sunny patted her back as Taeyeon stood up too. "C'mon, let's go back to the others and properly introduce you to them, and vice versa."

"Ne."Hyo nodded as she got off her bed too, now that she thinks about it.... Her thoughts run to before, in the living room. "Oh my god... wait, I can't face Jesshika just yet.."She was embarrassed of the recent events between herself and the american girl.

"Oh calm down, she might just think you were admiring her.."Taeyeon shrugged. "The lap sitting mistake though... I don't think you should worry too much about it, we'll just say you're a bit clumsy."

"I am not clumsy!"Hyoyeon crossed her arms.

"Yea? And I'm not short, let's get on with life."Taeyeon retorted as she walked out of the room, dragging Hyoyeon along with her. Unfortunately, Hyoyeon was a bit stronger and kept herself in place but...Sunny helped too by pushing from behind. The two danshins actually making the taller move.

"N-Noona... wait, I need to steady my hea...rt..."It was too late, the three were back in the living room. All eyes turned to them. "Uhmmmm...."

"H-Hi.."
