Let's Get Down to Business
Why Super Junior Will NEVER Go Camping Again
To maximize efficiency, Leeteuk proposed that the group split up into the tent-assembly team and the wood-gathering team. “We’ll need a campfire when it starts getting dark,” he pointed out.
“The stronger members should probably be in the tent-assembly team,” Kibum mused.
Kangin, Shindong, and Siwon were immediately pushed onto that side. Meanwhile, Ryeowook stepped back in acknowledgement of his lack of strength.
“I’ll go with Wookie,” Zhou Mi declared.
“Are you kidding? You’re not weak! I’ve seen you sprint up and down escalators hauling 200 pounds worth of shopping bags!” Kyuhyun protested.
“Well, I’d been training for that sale for a long time, Gui Xian,” the long-legged Chinese stated haughtily.
“I think Hangeng should be with us,” Siwon interjected. “He’s does martial arts, right?”
“Then I’m going with you guys too,” Heechul said.
“Uhh… Are you strong enough?” Kangin asked.
“You think I’m weak?” Heechul challenged. “It’s just setting up a tent! Not that hard, people.” He rolled his eyes. “Besides, I see right through Shisus’s plan,” he said, turning to shoot a glare at the younger member. “Give it up, Siwon. SiHan will never be as great as Hanchul.”
“Still debatable,” Siwon argued stubbornly.
Leeteuk waved his hands in the air to reclaim order. “Guys, guys! Keep focused here!” He glanced around, and his gaze landed on Kibum. “Kibummie! You’re the most reasonable one here (maybe). How about you divide us up?”
All eyes shifted to the dark-haired boy, who stared back at them coolly. “Sure,” he shrugged. He looked around at the members and contemplated for a moment. “Okay, the Tent-Assembly Team will be Kangin, Shindong, Siwon, Hangeng, Heechul, Sungmin, Donghae, and… Yesung,” he decided.
“YESSSS!!!” Yesung jumped up and down in sheer excitement. “I’m strong! I’m strong! Ha ha ha ha ha!!!” he cackled in victory.
“Actually, I was going to say Eunhyuk, but I thought that you’re more likely to wander off and get lost in the woods looking for bugs,” Kibum smirked.
Yesung stopped his victory dance and crumpled in humiliated defeat.
“Why am I on this team?” Kyuhyun asked. “I’m strong too!”
“But you’re evil enough that you’d try to kill us with the tent pegs,” Shindong refuted. “Besides, the most exercise you ever get is clicking buttons on your laptop.”
“Am I weak?” Henry asked uncertainly.
“No, but I put you on this team to keep Wookie from dissolving into complete panic about being in the forest,” Kibum clarified.
“Any more questions?” Leeteuk asked impatiently.
“No~” they chorused.
“Alright! Leeteuk’s Battalion, move out!” the leader commanded.
“What the heck is that? Leeteuk’s Battalion?” Eunhyuk complained.
“Yah, it sounds better than ‘The Weak Team,’ right?” Leeteuk tried.
“Still lame. But forget it. Let’s go, Kyuhyun and Minions!” the maknae called.
“YAH!”
Cackling, the evil one pranced off into the forest.
“Well, we better just catch up with him,” Eunhyuk sighed in defeat. Everyone shrugged and followed. Soon, they blended in with the dark trees around them and the sound of leaves crunching under their feet faded away as well.
“Well,” Heechul remarked, breaking the silence. “Now that we’re rid of them, who else wants to get back into the van and drive home?”
Seven hands shot into the air enthusiastically.
Just a short one for now, but I'll post more tomorrow :) As always, thanks guys! ilu <3
