I find myself there again, in another of my visions, this time it comes while I sleep. I’m standing in his room, the area dimly lit just enough for me to see his sleeping form on the bed.   Like every time I’ve been here before he will not know I have been here for he’s always asleep. My feet

A little girl stands before me, clear as day, her hair a dark black and her body covered in a white dress that was stained a deep red in some places. She stares at me in such an intense way the hairs on my arms stand and I felt the need to take a step back but I couldn’t for my feet were frozen in place.

My throat constricts, my nose burning as the air in my lungs slowly diminishes. The dark blue water me in slowly, I’m not too far from the surface but I don’t feel like swimming anymore. I had been drowning my whole life and this time I think it was time I gave up.
