SunMi and Myungsoo both grew up together. Their mothers being best friends, would hang out while their husbands both went to work. Thus SunMi and Myungsoo being best friends since birth. Just as they finished Middle school, SunMi's dad gets offered a job in California. Her dad decides to take the job and move himself and his family to the US. SunMi is sad to leave her best friend, Myungsoo, behind.      Years after she left Korea, SunMi graduates from high school. She decides
