Geum Hyomi is just a girl who lives with a nice family in Busan, helping them make a living by working at the restaurant they own. She's a sweet girl, and although not the most amiable, she's a very good worker. Hyomi has never questioned her situation in her life, because for as long as she can remember, she has been with the Lee's. However, one day, while exiting the bathroom during her break, someone walks up to her and starts labeling her with something she's never encountered.

  There’s this sort of clubhouse we always hung out around. We always pretended it was kind of an escape hatch from reality of some sort. It was pretty crappy when you looked at it. I think it got that way because its interior sort of showcased whatever I was feeling, and I’ve been feeling pretty dull and run down for a while.
