We did things we wish we hadn’t done. We did things we wish we could play a million times. We lived. We made mistakes. And through it all, it made me believe I set your eyes afire. But I came to realize it was just a reflection of the one you set in mine.    

They say it’s over when you’re more in love with the memories than with the person who was in it. I was raised believing that people leave you just as how bad you want them to stay; and I grew up realizing that they enter your life just to fill in the spaces of your sketchy memory. It’s funny how the ones you once loved leave as they turn to be the on
