Another night, another shift. (Or the SaMo convenience store AU that was meant to be a small one-shot.)

Sana doesn't know what she wants exactly. Momo always knows, and summer's close to ending. A small SaMo one-shot. 

There’s a dull pain somewhere beneath her ribs at the mention of her name. It sinks into Momo’s head that it hurts, but it’s not love. A SaMo one-shot. 

If Sana has ruined the line on her graph, she has positively decimated the paint on her canvas. Fluffy, abstract samo. Momo POV.

   Sana smiles to herself in the dim light of the room, illuminated by the street lights outside that were casting luminous slivers of light against the walls through the open slits of the window shades. She falls back against the mattress again, wishing for a moment that she could sink into it entirely and just not be, just for a moment.

She might have regretted agreeing to let her eager (and totally not in love) room mate throw a party to impress her 'friend', had it not been for for soft eyes and a teasing smile.

“I don’t know, I guess. I just like to live for now, and decide what I can do and where to go and who to see and,“ Sana paused, uncertainty lacing her tone. “My future doesn’t really have that.” Momo swallowed the ball of emotion that had begun to rise in . “You mean like soul mates?” Momo didn’t know how she kept her voice stable when it felt like everything was about to break apart. “Yeah.” Sana said. “Like soul mates.”

Momo likes to think that Sana could have been a star.
