Friends with benefits Kim Minjoo and Kim Chaewon loses contact with each other after graduating college. A lot of unresolved feelings were left. And Chaewon just wants Minjoo back in her life.
“You’re not attending any classes today, Kim Chaewon.” “I’ll be fine—” “You’re sick! What do you mean you’ll be fine?” Minjoo exclaimed. or Minjoo and Chaewon take care of each other.
"You know for a self proclaimed nerd..." Chaewon started, a smirk forming on her lips. "You look a little too hot to be one." or Minjoo is a little dense, but that's okay. The strong feelings Chaewon gives her is too hard to ignore now.
The small town the girls live in was still bathed in a gorgeous orange glow. The sun’s rays hitting on the house windows as the day was slowly coming to an end. Teenagers riding their bikes and skateboards occasionally passed by, tired adults trudging their feet on their own walk back home, cars seldomly driving down the streets and a couple of people standing around waiting for the bus to arrive. Minjoo didn’t mind spending her walks home like this. or Minjoo is still
now, why was she even considering calling her? chaewon doesn’t know. reconciliation? catch up? apologize? maybe a part of chaewon knows that she missed the younger girl dearly.
yujin comes back to her hometown with visiting only one person in mind. though, it seems like wonyoung has drastically changed. and it looks like this new version of the girl made her feel a little more than the platonic feelings she's used to.
kim chaewon hates parties. most importantly, if it's one with those egocentric s. maybe this particular one wasn't that bad. besides, kim minjoo was there to accompany her.
jungeun never really liked the holiday season. she hated the winter weather along with the cold feeling it brings her. frostbites all over her body along with her fragile heart. but, maybe this time would be different. jinsoul makes everything different.
she was intimidating to say the least. chaewon could only find her perfect.
"why are you telling me this?" she whispers, her voice softer than before. why am i telling you this? you question yourself. you don't know if you're being honest. there was something different in the way the calmness of the night affected you. the moon was shining brightly and the stars felt like they multiplied. there was something different with the scenery, the atmosphere. maybe that's why you're telling her this.
minjoo took in a shaky breath, tears threatening to spill as the heavy feeling in her chest was getting worse. suddenly, something was placed on her shoulders. hands patting the fabric softly as she felt a little warmer now. or kim minjoo was having one of those nights again. kim chaewon comforts her in a way she didn't expect.
kim chaewon got used to celebrating new years alone with a cooler full of beer. kim minjoo wants to kiss a certain someone.
“you promised you’d be stuck with me, right? well i am, too. i don’t mind it, though. as long as it is you who i’d come home to at the end of the day.” and that’s when i knew how cold it was out there, if it weren’t for you. or minjoo and chaewon going through an arranged marriage with a sudden divorce deal on the table.
