Every so often he would go to the cemetery and sing to the dead as they slept under the living grass. It might sound strange but for some reason he felt like he could connect with them, he felt like he could somehow help them. They were alone just like him and unable to speak for themselves, so he decided to speak for them.

I was all alone.   A beautiful doll in an expensive suit on a plain shelf of a store,   That’s all I was to them.     I couldn’t speak, the children spoke for me,   they told me about their lovely dreams and cruel nightmares.
