I have absolutely no idea if this is true or not but I think I saw on Tumblr that D.O thought he would be put in EXO-M before the final line-up was announced and so he practiced Mandarin and got himself used to the idea of living overseas. That tidbit (seriously, not sure if it's true) inspired this drabble.      Edit: Okay, I have been informed that I might be thinking of Kai and not D.O Nevertheless...I stick by my story. Thanks~
