☂ Fragmented Door ☂

 

Pieces of fragments scrape the side of my skin as I try to break through the walls of a bare room. I see blood seeping out of a wound on my flesh, but don't see it. I see myself screaming at its reflection in desperation, in despair, but don't hear it. The fragments continue scraping, and scraping. There's no pain. I grab a piece and attach it to another, and another, and another. That's when I finally open my eyes and reach for the door hidden among those fragments.

How is it, if you were living in a plain room like that all your life. The constant pain you don't know that hurts every part of your body for not knowing light, happiness, despair...and once you open the door you realize even more how useless your life is. But that door leads to path far from your expectations of this raggedy world. Open run, and run towards the light. What should you call it? Running towards something people would say is often far from your reach? A dream. But it's possible you know? The first step is to find that door. And where would you find it? Of course, that would start with your heart.

「m e r i n g u e」

Meringue is a 14 year old girl who was born on July 31st. She's chinese and resides in the states. Her name is Julie Wu, and she loves nothing but singing and dancing her heart out. She has many good friends, and loves people. But aside from that she is not good at expressing feelings. Alone in a bare room, she sits and stares at a jar filled with bottled up emotions. Julie has ways of using up her emotions, through dance...or song. And now an asianfanfics account. Her free time on Saturdays is spent writing stories that she hopes will captivate her audience with, of course, their favorite biases, husbands, groups, etc. Her pen name, meringue, signals for a sweet treat in each of her stories.
