Chapter 26: Mad props to you again for getting this scene from the 6 versus 1 showdown commissioned. I love badass!Irene as much as the next person, but oh no my poor baeby. Someone please come back for her. Seulgi reuniting with her family and finding her brother still alive was really sweet. And Somi watching Eunji stand up to Leeteuk was heartwarming in its own way--here's one more good Empire soldier doing the right thing

Oh my lord...the CLIFFHANGER...Goddamn, it's not a nice cliffhanger either it's like one of those ones where if I'm bingeing a show and an episode ended like that, even if it was at 2 am I'd have to watch the next episode.
It will be interesting to see how Irene broaches the topic of the past with Wendy once she finally gets the chance and how Wendy will react. Will Irene tell the full truth of their relationship? Will Wendy freak out or be chill? I am excited to find out.
Also, I'm also at Seulgi's level of wanting to be hopeful about her parents but also looking at the harsh reality of the situation and it's not looking to be the greatest...but it would be nice for them to be alive...but I guess the Hero's Journey often contains suffering.
Chapter 25: first of all i realized that i forgot to leave a comment on the last chapter... for reasons unknown honestly bc i remember writing it. i probably closed the tab before sending or smth like the whole i am. EITHER WAY I was in an isolated place in the middle of the woods when this dropped and I almost killed myself to get signal to load the page so i could READ. and then I was like "better wait to go home before commenting bc we don't want it to get lost like last time...." so now I am here.
since the very beginning of the chapter I was feeling for seulgi so much :'< like how it's so noticeable how her mood dropped and how worried she is... (she really does wear her emotions on her sleeve, like Irene pointed out). the way she just runs off before anyone, and Irene following her closely, always trying to somehow console her even though she never practiced this kind of connection... i aM sO SaD.
I loved joy taking charge and Irene also giving directions to counter what she knew she would do if she was the one seizing the town... but still being aware joy would be the one who knew what to do best here. which lead to the overprotective Irene realizing that she can't do everything for everyone to keep them safe anymore. she can't stop Wendy from fighting to protect her anymore. also i loved how it was solji who dropped that bomb on her like!! (and I need to re-read everything to appreciate the exid girlies more now that I know them). and Wendy's flashback was great... my lil demon girl. magic is so deep in her that she uses it instinctively and doesn't even notice!!
but throughout the chapter there was this constant sense of dread... like everyone and everything gone, but no one dead where we could see, and a big bonfire in the middle of the square, burning up all the missing things...... what the hell is going on. but next chapter, we going FIGHT!!! doesn't feel so long since the last fight but i feel like this time something terrible is about to happen lmao. if that ending line indicates anything...
anyway thank u so much for this story as always and i will wait excitedly for the next chapter uwu

Gosh.. I'm already so worried right now. And the most worrying thing is that the Empire could take Wendy back again to mess things up. I'm in the same boat with Irene in that matter of concern. Wendy's power is just too precious and dangerous. Though yes Solji is right about Irene should let Wendy decide what she wants, but she still hasn't regained her memories yet, so it could lead to harm as well.
I wonder if they'd be able to do this successfully. It's like everytime there's something positive that occured, something worse happened :( poor them
It's a bit sad how Irene could /finally/ felt like she could relate to Seulgi after the latter experienced sorrowful things as well..
I hope they could depend on and help each other through this.

Chapter 24: Go go airplane Somi! That was some rough landing and thank god she’s okay. Can she even strip the dead guy that fast before reinforcements arrive? She’ll be fine right? No point bringing her back from a supposed death just to have her be killed again amirite? Somi uses camouflage! It’s gonna be super effective!
The Emperor doesnt seem entirely evil../famous last words/ it seems like all the evil is just leeteuk’s doing. Idk i’m just guessing that the Emperor basically gave all power to leeteuk and now he’s running a show behind the Emperor’s back that’s completely different from the initial plan..hmmmmm

I guess I kinda already predicted that Mobliz would be attacked one day, but if it really happened and if Seulgi's family got hurt... sigh this is going to hurt. Hope it won't be that bad though ;-;
Idk I have my suspicion about the pigeon letter that Seulgi sent? She was being too naive by writing every single thing too honestly in that letter.
Poor Irene. She's feeling lost with Wendy forgetting about her.
But just like Moonbyul said, Irene should realize that she's not alone, that she could depend on other people too, and not carry all the burden herself.
I hope Wendy would regain her memories bit by bit as well. Even though it's not pretty.
Based on this chapter, Leeteuk seems to be starting his own agenda against the Emperor now. All hell breaks loose after this.

but seriously speaking...i honestly love this story and the pace you're setting it on. every chapter is a cliffhanger making us want more and more, to the point that i personally reread chapters so i can sate a bit of that anticipation and excitement! i also really love final fantasy, so this was the best thing that ever came into my life...thank you...i'm excited to wait for the next chapter!
