Should I write again?

The title says it all...I want to write again but I'm afraid it might flop, "again".

You should write again! We all end up having those "flops" but that doesn't mean we should stop writing. Sometimes those flops easily make us feel uneasy to write again. You just always got to hope for the best and let that creativity flow to its ability! I'm rooting for you <3

I’m struggling with the same :( I used to get so many ideas but now I can only stare at an empty document. Idk how to start :(

Your mindset really needs to change if you want to write. Right now it screams 'I don't want to, because I'm not okay with my previous work'. You can get so much support from the comments on this post, but in the end you need to convince yourself that your work is worth reading and its okay if its not flawless. People are human and humans make mistakes. Allow yourself to make mistakes in order to grow. Don't stop at just one attempt :)

Try again.

How can you say that your story won't do well if you shut it down before it even has a chance? Also, who cares if your stories "flop" again? That shouldn't matter. If you enjoyed writing the story, then that's what really matters. You should always write for yourself and no one else. Thoughts like "Will this do well?" and "What will readers think of it?" shouldn't be your main motivations for writing. Just write what you want and do what makes you happy.

Just try again.

I would say to go for it! If you look back at my old fics, I had really crappy stories and even deleted and archived some. However, even if you feel you’re flopping or not good enough, everyone improves! Get some criticism and grow as a writer! There’s nothing to lose. I used to get less than maybe 100 subs per a story and now im getting a few hundread each and it feels good to watch yourself improve. So definitely go for it and see where it takes you!

Writing is terrifying, putting yourself out there ,your creation, the fruit of your creativity and hard work it's a hella scary but also rewarding even if it 'flops', a written sentence even bad is ten times better than a masterpiece in your head the world will never see! So yes write please, with no pressure on yourself! I was basically invisible sometimes still feels that way but I try to write for the joy of writing and creating, so please write someone is looking forward to it

Yes, please write! Share your creations. You may think it'll be a flop or that it is a flop, but someone else will see otherwise! Don't write for numbers or for anything else other than your passion for writing. For every story out there, there are people who actually invest their time and dedication to read a story. You should never decide if a story's a flop. Let your readers be the one, and most of the time, you'll often have silent readers more than subscribers, so don't let that stop you. If you want feedback, simply ask. Not all readers know that the author wants feedback when reading a chapter or the entire story. Your readers might even think that they're not qualified to give feedback, so you gotta get yourself out there. Doing so will let you meet friends who actually care about you, your writing, and your story rather than having a bunch of subscribers but no one will really drop a constructive comment about your story.

You're not the only one who's scared to take the first step. Every author is. But to get somewhere, you have to take that small step.

It's scary, but it'll be a wonderful beginning to your writing journey.

I would say "good luck," but you don't need luck. You need you. =) You can do it!

Yeah, write. If you want to write, write your heart out. You can always decide whether to publish or not later on. :)

I know it's scary but if you want to write then write. No one is perfect and it takes time to improve. I stopped writing here four years ago and now I'm back. In essence creativity never dies and you'll always itch to put something together and it doesn't hurt to try.
