Nayoung thought she only had to deal with submitting the documents her father wanted her to do. Instead she finds out that she has to deal with Jaehyun after getting said documents from a high place and he’s her only way down.

Nayoung encounters Jaehyun at her niece’s birthday party. She’s been avoiding him, but it doesn’t seem to quite work as Jaehyun doesn’t plan on leaving her alone.

though blurry, he could make out the silhouette of a man, a hand wrapped around the stem of a flower. as the man came closer, the faint details of a rose gathered in his mind and he tearfully took in the obscured sight of it. it's colour slightly faded, it's petals seemingly wilting, and it's stem far too long with thorns scattered onto it's tattered green—but it was all he needed
