father : 전운기 jeon woonki (64) / owner of serenity cafe / amicable, hospitable and pushover
jovial and family-oriented, woonki has always been a pleasant man to be around. he has a rather casual relationship with his staff, always regarding them as friends first and is very mischievous despite his age. but he knows when to put his foot down when it comes to being the leader of the bunch, he's also patient in dealing with customers. truly he is the perfect boss that acts like your friend. as a father however, he is very doting and incessantly loving. sometimes he would come off as too protective and still treats their growing daughters as children. it doesn't help that hangang's personality would prefer her to be protected by her dad, but his wife knows that they should let her grow & stand up for herself

mother : 전해별 jeon haebyeol (67) / owner of serenity garden / strong-willed, hardworker and aggressive
tough love personified, haebyeol takes the role of a fierce protector in the family & she takes pride in being so. she believes in hard work and does not hesitate to drill it into her daughters. haebyeol has a fearsome but respectful disposition, with her staff loyal to her and not wanting to disappoint. the same goes for her eldest daughter as haebyeol successfully worked her into a slightly better individual. despite her aggressive nature, she is a warm and caring individual towards her family. she has a soft spot for hangang, knowing her nature and the impact of gahyeong, she becomes more careful around the young one. but she doesn't forget to teach her about hard work either. leader-like and wise, haebyeol does not hesitate to help those in need and is a great teacher for everyone

THE SISTER
전가형 jeon gahyeong (23) / intern at seoul botanic park and part-time florist at serenity garden / perceptive, commanding & temperamental
gahyeong has definitely mellowed down and became more indifferent than she was in her childhood days. in other words, she has grown up. but it doesn't make her less guilty in what she did in the past. she opts to ignore her sister instead of actively bullying her. yet she tends to snap whenever people mention her childhood antics of giving hangang a hard time, her avoidance and temper stemming from guilt. she knows what she did, but her pride is preventing her from saying sorry. hangang still very much scared of her. she would be visibly nervous whenever she's around, and both of them would avoid each other most of the time. her parents love them and have been trying their best to mend their relationship, but gahyeong needs to take the first step for hangang to stop fearing her

THE BEST FRIEND
공코름 gong koreum "koko" (20) / student of culinary management / social, courageous and airheaded
serenity garden and cafe has given her a lot of blessings throughout her life, koko is one of those blessings. she came to her life when she was 15 years old, working part time for the cafe. being the social butterfly that koko is, she immediately befriended hangang because they are of the same age and she's so dang cute!!! hangang was initially very unfamilliar because she's just used to be acquiaintanced by people much older than her and she never had same age friends, so koko was a breath of fresh air. in all honesty, koko didn't expect to be that close to her because of hangang timidness. but it awakens a sense of protectiveness inside of koko and her good nature just heightens it. their relationship is filled with koko talking in detail about her day and hangang listening with amusement, koko has always been able to make the simplest activity so interesting. koko also tries her best to help her with her anxiety by slowly teaching her how to approach people, she's patient and understanding if hangang can't handle it but ultimately she stills wants her best friend to not be so anxious around people. but she won't hesitate to stand up for her and bark at anyone who has questionable intentions towards her

THE CRUSH
seo "johnny" young ho (25) / chef at serenity cafe / laidback, easygoing & clumsy
hangang had always have a crush on the older lad ever since he came to work part time at the cafe when she was just 10 years old. and johnny was kind towards the younger girl and didn't make her feel afraid. as she grows up and so does he, her crush for him deepens even more and she admires him for how charismatic and how good he is with people. but it always makes hangang reserved seeing how much people likes him too and lots of them only came to the cafe to see johnny. she feels special though, because johnny regards her as a friend and treats her as much. johnny only sees her as a little sister he never had and didn't pick up on the small signs of her liking him. his eyes instead carries an unknown sentiment whenever he looks to the aloof gahyeong whom he spent his university days with
