Cheerful : Yuna is always laughing and smiling, and tries to remain enthusiastic while interacting with others.

Caring and responsible : Yuna is someone who wants to take care of others, particularly those younger than her. She sees all the members of Pandora as her family and looks out for them and keeps them out of trouble, even the main rapper who is five years older than her. She makes sure to give them words of encouragement before important events and be updated on what is happening to them, and take note of how she can make their day better.

Friendly, talkative and blunt : Yuna loves getting to know others and she believes the best way to do so is by talking to them, about anything under the sun. However, Yuna has a tendency to talk too much at times, sometimes when it is unwelcomed. Sometimes, she also says the wrong things, and usually at the wrong times, as she isn't someone who will hide her true feelings or opinions or pretend to be polite to someone she does not like.

Kind and selfless : Yuna tries to avoid hurting others, instead uplifting them wherever possible. She never fails to give her loved ones or people she finds cool words of encouragement when needed, even if she can't say much. She tries her best to show genuine love to everyone around her, even sacrificing herself to make them happy.

Zealous : Yuna believes that if you truly love something, you should put as much effort as you can into it, and going with this, she puts all her effort into performing, making sure she gets everything perfect and has memorised it by heart before she goes for videoshoots or performances. She openly shows her love for anything, or anyone she loves. When she is doing something she enjoys, she can easily spend many hours doing it.

Naive and idealistic : Yuna has not experienced many setbacks and tends to believe she can do anything if she believes in herself and works hard. She knows that wanting something alone doesn't necessarily mean you will get it, and hard work is not a sure way to success, but she still believes she can do anything if only she tries. She is a daydreamer, and often daydreams about things she'd like to happen to her, and gets disappointed when reality doesn't live up to her expectations.

Soft-hearted : Yuna is a sensitive person, and she is easily hurt by harsh words or others' suffering.

Irritable and petty : Though Yuna is a nice person, she won’t stand for bull, and if someone is annoying her she won’t hesitate to tell them off. She also does not let go of grudges easily.

Background.

Yuna was born to an upper middle class family in 1998. When she was just a toddler, Yuna was spotted by a modelling scout, and from then, became a model for childrens' clothes. As little Yuna grew old enough to understand what she was doing, she grew to love being infront of the camera and posing.

Due to her recognition as a child model, Yuna was often nominated to take part in talent shows when she was in elementary school. In fact, she did not mind it, and grew to love singing and dancing, later asking her parents to give her lessons. Feeling that Yuna had potential to be a big star if her talents were polished, Mr and Mrs Ji sent her for vocal and dance lessons.

When Yuna was a teenager, she discovered auditions held by entertainment companies and often signed up for them. At the age of 15, Yuna became a trainee at DSP Entertainment and 2 years later, she debuted as a member of their girl group April. While promoting one of April's singles on Music Bank, Muah, Yuna met Yeonjun, a soloist, and they started darting secretly. In October 2016, Yuna was asked to leave April and DSP as her relationship was discovered, and she was still on a dating ban until 2017. Many of Yeonjun's fans boycotted him too, as they could not accept them dating Yuna, and he too was forced to leave his company.

Yuna and Yeonjun thought that was the end of their idol career, until they met Go Hoon one day while they were out grocery shopping. Go Hoon invited Yuna and Yeonjun to audition for Box Entertainment and promised if they were accepted, he would allow them to date openly. They accepted, and after three years of training, Yuna debuted as a member of Pandora.

Trainee Life.
Yuna did not expect that training would take so much out of her. She practised for long hours with few short breaks on top of having to juggle school. Luckily, some of her fellow trainees were nice to her and they supported each other. Also, she was determined to perform on stage and was willing to take on any hardships. And the hardship she suffered eventually paid off when she was chosen to debut in April in 2015. Unfortunately, Yuna's time as an April member did not last long.

One day in 2016, during a dance practise, Yuna was called to a meeting with her manager, where he showed her several pictures of her and soloist Yeonjun together on a date. Yuna cried and admitted it was true. She was asked to choose between her career or the relationship, and she chose the relationship, resulting in her being kicked out of DSP. She returned to the practise room crying, and her members asked her way and she said she wouldn't be an April member anymore. Though they couldn't do anything, they hugged her and wished her all the best and hoped she could continue being an idol.

When Yuna joined Box Entertainment, she got to know Duri, who was her pillar of support and kept her going. Yeonjun who became a Box Entertainment trainee too due to being laid off from his own company for dating Yuna made it a point to pop in for her practice sessions or hang out with her between them if he was free.
