Yerin's POV

After my ex broke up with me, I got mental breakdown and it makes my life miserable like I can't hold the ceiling anymore. They keep pushing me through this and that. With my job, my debts. Since I lived far away from my mom, it's getting worst because I can't hug my lovely mommy in my life. I want her to comfort me like I used to be. Even though, I'm a grown woman, I can't stay independent when this kind of situation happen. I don't know if she leaves me, what I have in this life, it could be meaningless life without my mommy.

Nobody's POV

Yerin is mid 20's teacher in elementary school at Gangnam. The most favourite place that she go is, Han River. That place with a colourful lights in the night and the windy weather makes she calm all the time. Even though she had a mental breakdown back then, she still in her grief now. After got dumped by her ex boyfriend, she keep sick and make she quit her job for awhile due to her many hours of absent. Her mother knows her condition, but her older brother didn't allow their mother to went out alone. Why her brother didn't just bring their mother? He still in China for his work, so he can't to check both of them in physical touch. They're just always video call together. Tonight, Yerin plan to drink a beer with some chicken and pizza. She likes to eat to make she forget about it for temporary period. After she finished her work at the school, she went back home first before she order the food. Since she wants to eat at the Han River, she get herself clean first before chilling out. Tonight, she wants to all out her feelings at the river and get drunk.

She ordered the chicken and the pizza, for about 20 minutes, her order is done. After buy some tissues and mineral water, she went straight to the Han River. Everybody sees her open the food and have a lots of beer. There's 12 tins beside her. She ready to dig in. 

Eunwoo's POV

I failed my test again! Argh! I just hate studies! I feel like I want to quit studies and do some job. Why my dad wants me to study when he already have a family business, well at least I can inherit and take care of it. I'm struggling with my studies but the result still the same. Duh! As I drive on this bridge, this river really make my heart calm. Should I stop by? 

Nobody's POV

Eunwoo, is in his early 20's that still study as university student. He is someone that really good at studying actually. The reason why he got the same result because he can't focus in his class. Even though he always attend the class, his mind always out of space and make he blur sometimes. When he study alone, he's not moving his pen and just wander around. When he group studying with his friends, he will play around and teased them. After his past ex girlfriend make a comeback to his life, he can't do nothing but constantly fail in everything. He wants to move o like his friends encourage him, but he still consider about his toxic girlfriend. Tonight, he so frustrated and get some fresh air. Inadvertently, Eunwoo drove on the bridge that popular in Seoul, Banpodaegyo (Banpo bridge). The scenery every sunset, they will have a light waterfall for about 2 minutes, then there's a semi-circle building on the river that full of LED light that change every minute. It's really attract a visitor or their netizens. Then, Eunwoo park his car beside the river and take a walk. The clock shows 9PM already, so he might just see-sight for awhile and go home,but the situation here makes Eunwoo doesn't want to go home early.

There's a bunch of box pizzas and 3 box of chicken. Not to mention her drinks. But there's a lot of beer that she not finish yet. Eunwoo keep on his eyes on that girl. 

"Is she eating by herself? All of that?", Eunwoo cringing himself.

He thought that the girl must be out with her friend, but she really eat alone by herself.

"People said , 'love yourself' huh?", Eunwoo talk to himself while inspired by looking at her feeding herself with a delicious food.

Then, he come closer to her because he curious what she mumbled about.

"You're not so handsome you know, when you cheat on me.."

"Jukgo-karagu (go die).."

"Don't ever pity me when you..you always.. w-wrong.."

That's what Eunwoo heard about. 

"She must be so depressed..seems it's a broke up line", said Eunwoo.

Eunwoo's POV

She must be so depressed..seems it's a broke up line. It just remind me of her. Why we have to broke up? Because of the broke up I'm so messed up right now. 

Nobody's POV

After he watch her eat by herself, he so hungry, then he went to the store that nearly the river. He bought a cup of ramyun and mineral water to make the appetizer. When he comeback from bought the food, the girl went missing. He saw her purse there but he wonder where she goes. He search all around and he see her sit under the narrow tree near the river. She still drink her beer there. After that, he feel relief and start to eat. The clock keep ticking, and now time already near 10PM. He still saw her there, he wondered why she still in this late hour, she should have clean her mess there. Then, after he eating he went to her place and clean up the mess for her. 

"I'll do anyway because I'm bored after all", he said.

After several minutes, he finish cleaning, he saw her wobbling while walk beside the river. He went straight to her because worried she might fall in the river. Right now, he really close to her. One step more, that girl walk she might fall into the river but Eunwoo quickly grab her waist to avoid that happen. That sudden situation make that girl realized a bit but she still have a blurry vision.

"Nan-naneu eodiseyo (where am I)?", she asks.

"Hangang..", said Eunwoo while still hold her.

Then, she manage herself to get up but still wobble. Eunwoo still careful with her actions. 

"Akka (just now), you nearly walk on the river, so before you walk in, I pull you..", Eunwoo smile.

"Nae kabang (my bag)!", she start to worry her handbag.

"I'ts with me, yeogi (here)", Eunwoo lend her handbag.

She so worried and just grab from Eunwoo's hand without a word. She sigh of relieved after there's no any things from her handbad missing. She still drunk but not too strong since she just drink a beer. 

"Agassi, may I know where you live, I can send you home..", offers Eunwoo.

"A-aa..emm..", she can't decide it since it's sudden.

"Keokjeongma (don't worry), we go straight to your house so..", Eunwoo determined it.

"Y-yeah, kaja (let's go)..", she walk first.

But, she nearly fell because misleading in front of medium size of rock. Eunwoo catch her arm and she pull over. She manage her walk properly and slowly while Eunwoo giggle and laugh a bit. Before that, Eunwoon takes the 6 beer more on the bench she left just now and give it back to her. She bow and they continue to walk each other to his car. In the car..

"Jeogiyo (excuse me)..", Eunwoo try to call her.

"Ne?"

"Where you live?", he asks.

"Ah! Matta (right)! Chamkamman-yo (wait a minute)", she said.

Then, she give her business card. There's her address. 

I won't sleep, I won't sleep, I won't sleep..

That girl monologue.

A few minutes later, she fell asleep in his car. 

"She truly slumber but also pure innocent", said Eunwoo while driving.

Anyway, Eunwoo still curious why she talks informal to him. She look young, she might be in his age, he thought. After arrived at her place, Eunwoo try to wake her up. She awake but she dizzy, so Eunwoo help her to go upstairs (her house is on the 2nd floor).

"You can just..ta-take that beer", she said it and close the door immediately.

Eunwoo didn't have time to talk to her or ask anything. He just smile and want to go back home. Then, in the car, he takes the card and read them properly again. 

"Jung Yerin,

Teacher at XXXXXX school

+82XXXXXXX"

"So, you are seonsaeng-nim (teacher)?", Eunwoo smirked.

Eunwoo's POV

So, you are seonsaeng-nim (teacher)? There's a school name too, I can just barge in there. Yerin seonsaeng-nim~

Today was the best day like I'm hurt but the scene is just comforting me. That seonsaeng-nim really caught my eye. I bet she is older than me. She have a job already. While me still at studying. She must be very good at teaching, I need to be acquaintance of her. Let's save the number first. 

THE NEXT MORNING

Yerin's POV

Ah nae meori (my head). Why it's so spinning? I can't remember what I'm doing. And I'm half ?! What with this behaviour, Yerin-aa!!? Can I just take 1 day leave? Hm, this year I'm not taking any leave yet, so I can right? 

Nobody's POV

She doesn't remember any of the things that happen yesterday. She still not realized it. Today, she takes a leave because of hangover. Eunwoo start his study week today, so he plan to go to Yerin's school to meet her. But, he doesn't know she absent today.

At the school..

"Ne, can I help you?", asks the security.

"Where can I meet Jung Yerin seonsaeng-nim?", asks Eunwoo.

"You can just enter the office and asks for the attendance of the teachers", the security guide him.

Then he said thank you and bow to the security. He went inside and asks the academician office for the Yerin's attendance. 

"May I know, Jung Yerin seonsaeng-nim is here today?", asks Eunwoo.

"Ani-imnida..She's got her leave today due to illness. May I know who are you?"

"Chingusseubnida..", he answered.

"Chal saengyeosseo (you're good looking). I thought you are her namja chingu..seolma (impossible)"

She smile looking at Eunwoo. She said in banmal way because she's older than Eunwoo. Then, he bow and went out from the office and straight to go back to the university. Meanwhile in the office..

"Yaa..uri Yerin namja chingu (our Yerin's boyfriend)", said one of the teacher.

"Jinjja??", some of them are not believable.

Yerin is really innocent and pure attitude make them doesn't believe she have a partner. Also her child and cute look makes she looks younger than her age. Even though she's like that, all the teachers hoping she'll get marry and have a happy family. She is so kind and the students make her their favourite teacher. 

"Kwaenchana, daeum il (next time), tto manna (we'll meet again)", said Eunwoo while driving.

Eunwoo's POV

Ah~I have her number but I don't have courage to start a chat or call somehow. Why I feel so awkward when she just a teacher and I'm curious about her life? Like I want to be part of her life too. It's strange. I have her address, her number phone..? It's obviously I can enter into her life so fast! Assa!~ Hm, I feel like I don't want to go to school, since it's still study week. I failed a test but still not study for final test. LOL. All I want to do is wander around and its make my parents really mad at me. What a gooooood boy.

I turn around and go to Yerin ssi resident. I should make a call by then. Once I arrived near her place, I started to call her.

"Yeoboseyo?"

"Yea, yeoboseyo?"

"Yerin ssi, cheoyo, Cha Eunwoo imnida I'm Cha Eunwoo). The guy that send you home the night before", said Eunwoo.

"Ehh?! A-aa..jamsimanyo.."

The phone sudeenly become silent. Eunwoo saw the call is being hold by her. He laugh and just wait for it.

Yerin's POV

Who's calling me?!!

"Yea, yeoboseyo?"

Who's calling me?!!

"Yerin ssi, cheoyo, Cha Eunwoo imnida (I'm Cha Eunwoo). The guy that send you home the night before"

I remember all the time in that night.

"Ehh?! A-aa..jamsimanyo.."

Arghhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!~~.I hold the call so the scream cannot be heard by him. I'm so embarassed about my attitude that night. After 3 minutes..

"E-un, Cha Eunwoo ssi..eo-eodiseyo (where are you)?"

"You should guess, cause I think I'm close to you"

Is this guy a ert somehow?! Why he said like that?! Musseobdda (scary)! Then, I look everywhere surround me include the outside. When I slightly open the curtain, I saw the car. It's him!

"Cha Eunwoo ssi, may I know why you behave like this? You want something back from me after you help me before?"

"Ah~Jweosonghamnida. You must be curious about it, Jweowsonghamnida if I startled you. I- I just want to be friend with you somehow.."

ERT!! I HAVE TO STOP HIM!

Nobody's POV

There's no woman in this world wouldn't protect herself frorm this happening. Most of the woman will feel insecure if there's a man or someone stranger suddenly interest in them. She immediately wear a proper pants and went out from her house. Eunwoo see her with her grumpy face and knock his car.

"Jeogiyo, you may be nice before. But this behaviour is not appropriate to do because we're strangers!", she said.

"Seonsaeng-nim, I don't have any bad intent to do to you", said Eunwoo.

"How can I believe you? You can take an advantage on me since you helped me before. I don't want to feel guilty if you doing deeds and wants more than them. You even know that I'm teaching as well, nuguseyo ahjussi??", she attack him with a long rant.

"Pftt, Jung Yerin ssi, I'm still a student. I know it because you give me your business card and I send you to your house. I'm not stalking you and I just want to be your acquaintance after I heard everything you rambled in the night before", Eunwoo explained.

"Yaa! Cha Eunwoo!", she shout his name and make him silent.

Then they're both silent. But, Eunwoo invite her to enter his car since it's already night. The neighbours must be mad because of their debates.Yerin slow her down and consider it to enter in his car.

"What did you heard?", she asks.

"It's like you mad at someone since you drunk that night. Kwaenchanasseubnikka?",he asks.

"It just my private life..", said Yerin.

"Nado meoreugesseoyo (I don't know too), but that night I'm also stressed out and make me drove over by Hangang. Then, suddenly I saw you with a bunch of food and beer. I thought you came with chingu, but it's only you. So I watched you all the time until you nearly made an accident", he explained.

"Why you so curious about me?", she asks.

"I found you nice. Also, I went to your hakyo (school)", he said slumber.

Yerin hit his right shoulder and Eunwoo pat his shoulder right away.

"Don't interupt my life, hakseng (student)!", she said.

"Noona..?"

"Don't call me that, paboya!", she hit him again.

Eunwoo just stay like that and not defend himself. Because for him it's right he deserve that since it's sudden meeting really make woman more curious about his purpose. Yerin and him stay silent and awkward in that car.

"Em..neomu apo (so hurt)?", Yerin asks.

Eunwoo nodded.

"Mianhae..", she pat his hair.

Eunwoo shivered when she make that move to him but he still don't move.

"Chakhan namja (good man)..", she said again.

"I will consider it to be your acquaintance", Yerin made a decision.

"Jeongmalyo (seriosuly), noona???", he asks excitedly.

"Noona bulleojima (don't call me noona)!", she replied.

Then, she nodded and Eunwoo smile happily in front of her. 

"Please enter to your house quick, Yerin ssi", said Eunwoo.

"You invited me and sent me out? Tsk", she rolled her eyes.

"I don't want people misunderstand about our relationship. Ehee", he smile and teased about them.

"I hit you again, you want?!", she said while ready to hit him again.

He shakes his head and wave to her. She wave him back. Yerin is innocent look but there's her side that a bit furious. He smile and drove away from her resident after she already go to her floor. 

Yerin's POV

Is he don't have a give up button? He still want me to be his acquaintance. He even want, like to protect me. Just because of that night.

//TING//

"Annyeonghaseyo, please save my number. Tto mannaseubnida (we'll meet again), Yerin ssi. Mannaseo bangaseubnida (nice to meet you). I don't expect we've met today. It's really nice, hehe. We really in our first met with your pyjamas, ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ. We should plan our next date when you're free" -Cha Eunwoo.

He really play joke on me this young man. Aigoo~I can't move on while he still struggle to be my acquaintance. I don't want to give a fakehope.

"Tto manna, i sekki (meet again, kid). I don't have a free time like hakseng did. Gomawo (thank you)" -Jung Yerin.

"We'll have to. In weekend at 8pm. Venue, Rowa Cafe" -Cha Eunwoo.

This boy really treat me like his noona or what? Haishhhh.....

Eunwoo's POV

"We'll have to. In weekend at 8pm. Venue, Rowa's Coffee Shop" -Cha Eunwoo.

After our 2nd met that night, I plan to know each other on my last day of study week. After he met Yerin, I completely not think aboutt her (ex) again. My studying also become more focus. After study week, 2 weeks after there's final test for this semester. I'm in 2nd year and I can't wait to finish my studies.

"Eunwoo-yaa, Sanha said, he wants to study with you tomorrow, right?", my dad asks.

"Not just him, Jinjin hyung and others too"

"Keureokuna (I see), study smart", he said and rub my head.

"Aa, abeoji. I'm not a boy. Nan ssang namja!"

"You still 21, You're grown boy, nae adeul (my son)", he said and smiled.

My father always praised me when I can understand well in my studying. He become more proud when my friends make me as their references. Yeah, if my son do that too I'll be proud to have a son like that. Well at least, he's not lazy. I wash myself and straight go to sleep.

There they went on the first move to be closer. Even though Yerin seems cold towards him, she surely Eunwoo is not like her ex boyfriend. She try to believe and back up for her life. She must survive to be in the future and leave the past. Same as Eunwoo, he try to manage himself to move on from his toxic girlfriend. Even though it just a year before, he had endured all the pain by himself. He must return and see him worth than everyone else. They slowly loving themselves with this new friendship. In the next morning, Eunwoo and his friends will studying together at his house. Since they had been planned this before study week, at last Eunwoo change his mind to study rather than he said wanted to wander around before. 

"Why all of sudden?", asks Jinjin.

"I just want to study. You know I'm good since in our junior time", said Eunwoo.

"There must be something that make you trigger", said Moonbin.

"LOL", Eunwoo replied.

They all and laugh together.

//Saturday, 8PM//

Eunwoo at the Rowa's coffee shop waiting for her but not expecting too high, because she not replied the chat after. But, he believes, she must be on the way to the cafe shop. Tonight, it's raining. He ordered latte for him to chill for awhile, After 30 minutes, he saw someone outside and ran out bring his umbrella.

"I didn't know you would come, noona", said Eunwoo.

Yerin cover them with her umbrella even though he bring his umbrella but not used it.

"Why you out here not wearing your umbrella?", asks Yerin.

"Noona..Err, Yerin ssi.."

"Let's go inside first", said Yerin.

Eunwoo actually forgot that he bring the umbrella with him but seeing Yerin makes he not close his eyes even a second. She well dressed tonight, like on a real date.

"So, I heard that dae hakseng (university's students) have their exam", said Yerin while stir her coffee.

"Ah, ne", he nodded.

"You're not studying?", asks Yerin.

"Of course I'm studying. I want to get into a dean list!", he said with a confident.

"Wah~Chalhane (good)", Yerin claps.

"It supposed to be praised or sarcastic?", asks Eunwoo.

"I know I've been too harsh on you and don't take all my actions like downgarding you, ahjussi", she said.

Eunwoo laughs and she drink her white coffee.

"We're really on date, noona", said Eunwoo.

"Keure, narang hallae (let's go out with me)", she replied.

Eunwoo choke on his drink while heard that invitation. He is not sure if she really serious about that.

"Kwaenchana?", she asks him.

Eunwoo wipe his mouth and his eyes so wide open.

"Don't look at me like that", she glare.

"So you, em..fine with me?", he asks.

"You so sweet since the first time I met you that night at Hangang. And you helped me clean my messed. Send me to my home. Also manage to be acquaintance of mine..So, I guess, based on my view, you're kind. You really good as a young man I ever see after my students", she explained.

"Noona, you compared me with your little students? I'm a grown man", he said and pouted.

"Don't be so cute", she blushed.

"Jigeum, noona-neun kwiyeosseoyo (you're cute)", Eunwoo compliment her.

KYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

She scream in her heart. This unexpected date also make them even more closer than before. He's not a sweet talker though but he can win her heart that fast in this period. After that, they're both tell about their experience in couple before. Yerin and Eunwoo getting more talkative than before. They let their guard down to know each other. Eunwoo tell her that after he finish his test, he want to go on date after that and Yerin aggree with that since she not so busy in the end of the month except there's some event that she have to attend. Eunwoo try to hold her hand.

"Noona, I will take you together with me in my life one day. Officially together with me now, we will bring our own future together. We experience the same thing and we've survived in that struggling. Now, we have to cherish our moment and appreciate every single thing. Thank you for this sudden came like an angel in my life", he confessed all of his heart.

"Uljima (don't cry) noona~You have some coffee there", he said that to Yerin.
