Is It Real? You need to read this.

I know you may be thinking this is Ahjumma, but no my name is tasteofhoney I'm a dear and close friend of Affofficialahjumma and reader of her stories here on AFF just like you. My heart is so heavy with hurt, right now.  I felt I had to do something so I asked for permission to write something to you guys and Ahjumma granted me permission to write under her profile since she is at this time unable to do so herself. 

I had to reach out to her friends and readers here on AFF because I know a little earlier when she still could type she attempted to reach out to all you guys and let you know her dire situation. I know here on AFF we all go by these aliases fun names but sometimes we forget that real people are behind the stories we read each day on here with real lives and problems. 

Well, that's the situation here with my dear friend Michele better known to all of you as Ahjumma. I wanted to let everyone know who may be in doubt that my dear sweet friend's situation is very real and she is very ill and we desperately need your assistance if you can help. I know some may be thinking is it real? Is this a scam?

That's why I asked permission from her and her family to put a face to her name Ahjumma so you guys can know this is a very serious urgent and real situation. She does have cancer and it has come with a vengeance and she needs to get to doctors that can help her get the care she needs to stay alive! 

I know many of us here on AFF are young and in school and college. But if you can spare a few dollars to help someone who has been a constant and stable writer on here.  Who stories many, including myself, have enjoyed reading for years for free. We should want to do give something back to someone like her in her time of need. She is reaching out to her family and friends all over and everywhere for help. Not just here on AFF but on other sites as well. 

The site her family has set up for is on Gofundme for those who are familiar with her personally. I got permission to put the link to that site on here so you guys can see that she's a real person facing a real and deadly situation. If you decide to go to the link and read and see the pictures of her please feel free to either donate to the Gofundme or to her crowdfund here on AFF. Michele (Ahjumma) has so many new stories that she had been working diligently on, before and during her sickness. I will be slowly putting them out there for readers here on AFF to donate to read. She doesn't want you to donate and not get nothing in return.  Ahjumma is offering her stories for your donations and those donations will go toward her cancer treatment. 

So please find it in your heart to help her if you can. She does sincerely love all her readers on here and she is so sad that it has come to this, but I don't want her to worry because I want her to know you guys love her too and are willing to help support her and along with pray for her. Please feel free to leave encouraging comments so she can read them.

I am seriously so distraught. I love your stories, and I came back on this site to finish reading when all of a sudden I see this. Is there a way we can support you for higher than $1? This is a really scary thing and I love your stories, I think you are a very talented writer and a wonderful person because of how passionate you are about writing. I am hoping and praying for the best for you. Keep us updated.

Oh no!!! When I read this blog this morning it brought me to tears. I was so hoping all was going well for you Miss Ahjumma. I'm so very sad to hear that you're so sick. I will be praying for you and your family. Cancer is an awful disease and I sincerely hope you are able to get the funds so you can get the help and treatment you need to fight this disease. As you know I have donated to this cause from the first time I heard you had cancer even though I'm just a student. If I can by myself a coke or a hamburger. I can and am willing to pay to read your awesome stories! No one writes stories as you do on here. Your style is definitely unique and very fun to read. You are one of the few authors who respond to every comment and try to get to know your readers. Before coming across you I use to be a silent reader until I read your stories and you help me see the importance of commenting and upvoting and you help me get my email badge and kindly gave me karma points. I love you for that and now I can't stop commenting. Lol But you have done that for so many readers on this site!

I do hope the readers on AFF at least the ones that know you and your hard work will respond. Even though I have to agree with tasteofhoney. So many are indifferent to the feelings of others and they don't take the work people put into writing as serious at all. I know because I use to be just like that. But I've changed and even though you write for yourself people should still acknowledge other's stories and the work and time they have put into it.

I feel so bad and wish I could do more. I would hate to hear any further bad news because you have been such a constant figure on AFF and you have written some memorable stories that have literally helped me as a young lady. Your work is for females and it uplifts and elevates us as females to always do better and be better. You help us to see love is universal and should be experienced without boundaries. You help me to see love knows no color or nationality! So many of us have not been raised to think that way but your stories are just that powerful to promote change! That's how good your stories make me feel, they make we want better out of life. When I'm finished reading them I actually feel better about being a female because you give me hope that I can do and become anything I set my mind to. Your work has helped me deal with school and has given me a place to go and get a fun break from the daily struggle of school life. Over the years you have made reading about kpop so much fun!!!

Thank you so much Ahjumma for all the love and positiveness you have offered to your readers over the years! I have faith you will get the funds you need and get the medical treatment you need and all will be well once again! Prayers are powerful and my heart of prayers will be going up on your behalf.

My dear friend, I was so sad to hear the news and because I know you so well for you to put this out for the public to know you must really be in need because I know you are a private person and a giver and not a taker. I'm going to say this and this is not to be negative about what you or how you're going about trying to raise the funds. But people can be very negative and will ostracize you here on AFF because there's a lot of negative energy here on this site. Many people became negative when they even heard of crowdfunding and began to talk negative and avoid reading the stories of those who were a part of crowdfunding. I know you sincerely need the help but many on here are not the helping kind, to be honest, they are more takers than givers. They want something for nothing. Most of the readers on here are not even kind enough to give you comment or an upvote. Sweetheart I'm just keeping it real with you. You are doing nothing wrong by asking for help and by offering your stories for donations. But there are only a few kind sincere hearted people on this site. I suggest you set up a GoFundMe page on facebook and tell your situation there and you probably will get more assistance and the help you really need.



You know I will definitely donate to your crowdfund because I know how serious your situation really is but I thought I should just let you know no one on this care about anybody like that. If they don't know you and even if they do know your work and have talked to you that is how far it will go with these AFF members. So I wanted to let you know that so you wouldn't get your hopes up high are anything or waste precious time thinking someone is going to respond. They are only going to be nosy and read your blog and then run after they find out what it is about. No one is going to even acknowledge that they saw it or even say a kind encouraging word to you. They are going to give you the impression that they didn't even see when they know they did. I know this message may be breaking your heart further but my friend I've seen similar things like this happen before and I hate to see you put yourself out here like this to only have people avoid you even more.



It sad because you are one of the best ambw writers on this site and I've noticed over the last few years how so many of them have stopped reading your stories because you have standards and try to help them see the need to participate not just on your stories but on all the other author stories that they read. And since you made it known you had cancer and had a crowdfunding page they have basically abandoned you and now are supporting other people's stories.



What I'm saying they know it's true and we have talked about how you are being treated on here and it's pathetic that these readers would stoop so low to try and hurt somebody who has done nothing but good on this site for many years. And now you are facing a serious crisis and maybe even be facing death and they don't even care. It brings me to tears I'm crying now having to say this to a good-hearted person like yourself. You know me and I keep it real girl, I just had to let you know and I will be praying for you dear day and night to get well soon.
