When she was young Gigi absolutely idolized her father. SInce the divorce she's seen a lot less of him, and since his remarriage he's just generally had less time for her and her sisters, prioritizing his new family and two sons over his old one. SHe still loves her father, of course, and she still thinks he was a fantastic performer in his day, but she doesn't have the same relationship with him that she used to.

Lee Miyoung

Gigi's interactions with her mother since moving out are about as regular as with her father, though because she spent more of her developmental years with Miyoung she is slightly closer with her mother than her father. Miyoung is very supportive of her girls' determination to become idols but she doesn't really get it so her interactions with them are limited by that as well. If they ever want acting tips though she's only too happpy to sit them down with homemade hot chocolate and talk for hours.

Tara Boram

gigi adores her biggest sister and Boram loves her right back. The two are just about as close as siblings can get, and during t-ara's scandal Gigi was constantly messaging and calling her big sis to provide support. Boram is one of the few people that gigi includes as an important person (that is, as important as herself). Gigi is quite proud of what her sister accomplished with t-ara and is equally proud to be related to boram and won't hesitate to mention her relations if it comes up. Or if she just feels like mentioning it. SHe's really proud of her big sis.

While Wooram does rank among the few people gigi cares about almost as much as herself, she's always had a more contentious relationship with Wooram than with boram. The simple fact is the two girls are alike in a lot of ways and it causes some conflict between them. AT the end of the day they do love each other, but there's always going to be a bit of a rivalry between the two to see who can be the next Jeon sister to take the spotlight.

Minji is gigi's platonic life partner. The two women connected the moment they met and have remained best friends and confidants through everything that's been thrown at them in the past eight years. If there is a person that gigi would consider as important as she is it's minji. They share everything, keep no secrets, and though they definitely have their disagreements at the end of the day they'll always work them out because their friendship is more important than their pride (and sometimes their morals...) They're each other's cheerleaders and if Gigi can come up with an excuse to drage Minji onto the show she's darn well going to do it. The spotlight is always best when shared with her favorite person in the world. (BESTIE Twin: Hyeyeon)

Gigi loves Hana but the girl is a bit of ditz and Gigi isn't afraid to point it out which can cause some strife between the two if Hana is feeling particularly sensitve at the time. They've both closer to Minji than they are to each other but the trio wouldn't be complete without all three and they know that. Hana is the one person Gigi has learned to watch her tongue around (after an argument with Minji on the subject) and Hana has learned how to have a thicker skin thanks to Gigi. In any other circumstance they likely would never have been friends, but being together for the past eight years has made them family against all odds. (on Gigi's side family who sh'ed be down to make out with if she's honest. Hana is hot) (bestie twin: Haeryung)

Being both the youngest by a long shot and the newest member added to 2s, Kijung does often feel slightly out of place next to the power trio of Gigi, Minji, and Hana. WHile Minji and Hana both do their best to alleviate that strain Gigi isn't quite as good at it - namely because she hasn't totally noticed. Kijung was only seventeen when she met the group and she still maintains some of her teenage sensitivities around them, particularly the ever-loud and ever-brash Gigi. For her part Gigi sees Kijung as a full member of the group and honestly likes the kids well enough, but is oblivious to how insecure she makes Kijung feel at times so things can be a bit strained between the two of them. (Bestie twin: Dahye)

Gigi has nothing but positive things to say about LE. She's creative, passionate, and a very skilled rapper and song writer and Gigi is honestly glad for her former groupmate's success. Honestly she didn't know hyojin all that well even when they were working together but she has respect for the other idol and if asked will have nothing but nice things to say about hyojin's work ethic and skills.

Of her former exid groupmates Heeyeon is the only one that gigi is still somewhat in contact with. They aren't best friends or anything but they still kkt each other if they have free time and when exid blew up Gigi was one of the first to message her congratulations to hani (along with some teasing about her gorgeous rear end). Hani was the one who told Gigi about Lost legends and for that Gigi is always going to consider her a friend, even if she is a distant one.

Junghwa was a tiny sixteen year old when Gigi met her, and having worked together for less than a year Gigi never really got to know the younger girl. She does think that Junghwa had great potential and likes to brag about 'her kid' growing up when talking about exid's youngest member, but in reality they aren't that close. That said they'd get along perfectly well if they were to run into each other again, especially as Junghwa has grown into herself and would no longer be overwhelemed by the sheer force of Gigi's personality.

Gigi knows that 2s's brother group isn't to blame for ynb's terrible managment of 2s. And she gets that they're getting equally terrible management that they don't deserve. But th simple fact is she's always going to be a little sore at their debuting just in time to knock 2s off the tracks to stardom, no matter how nice the guys themselves are. She'll be nice to them, but she rather doubts they're ever going to be friends.

Trainee and idol life
Some parts of training were easy for gigi - she'd had vocal lessons for years, so she absolutely shone in thos classes, especially as her forte was belting, a rare skillset amongst standardly trained idols, so she was a favorite among the trainees. She made a few friends in the year she spent training, becoming closest to a young woman by the name of kim minji, a fellow vocalist who was consistently the second best in the class - after Gigi, of course. Their duo became a trio when Minji - always looking for someone to take under her wing - started dragging Jo Hana around. Hana was the bottom of their vocal class but did decently in dance, something both gigi and Minji weren't quite as adept in (though Gigi was learning fast). The two singers did their best to help Hana with her vocals and in turn Hana attempted to help them with their dancing. Within a few months the three were inseperable, and the entire company knew it. Which was why they were chosen for a special project together.

YNB had teamed up with Shinsandong tiger and another no-name company called banana culture to create both companies' first group. Composed of three trainees from each company, there were high hopes for the novel collaborative idea and the three trainees from each company got on rather well with each other from the get-go which was encouraging. Gigi especially had no issues reaching across company lines to make nice with the other girls, and she ended up being assigned as the leader of the project group, a role she took up with gusto and a decent touch of ego. Then shinsandong tiger's label started getting accused of plagarism and exid's debut became the last thing on the producer's mind. in the end, they were given a lackluster debut with shoddy promotion because neither of the companies actually knew what they were doing with st's assitance.

gigi was upset, of cousre, but she figured their comeback would smooth things over - the scandal would be sorted and their next song would be infinitely better. instead ynb cancelled the collaboration entirely and gigi, minji, and hana were all taken out of the group, leaving banana culture and exid scrambling and ynb's three girls furious. however they were promised another debut together which kept them from leaving the company. In early 2013 their practices were joined by Lee Kijung, a newer ynb trainee, who they were told would copmlete the group. This made all four girls hopeful, but they didn't get their debut song for another year. Finally in mid 2014 2s debuted with pitapat, to very little fanfare. gigi was furious but ynb made up for it - in her eyes - by giving them a very quick comeback with love options. their second song did distinctly better than their first  and the whole group was quite excited to ride the momentum - which they did when they released Thank u very much a few months later in 2015. it was, and is to this day, their best charted song, and the 2s fanbase - known as sailors - was growing rapidly. And then ynb screwed up.

2s was scheduled for another comeback with like a star later in 2015, and though the music video was filmed the group never ended up promoting the song as the company decided to invest the bit of money they'd earned from TUVM into starting to form a new male group for the company. and just like that the steady upward climb 2s had been experiencing stalled, and the group never recovered from it. Knk debuted in 2016, and they ended up having quite an impressive debut (which yes, irritated gigi even more). The money from that was then split between the groups, and in late summer 2016 2s finally had another comeback with hot baby. several of their fans had remained loyal but the song didn't do nearly as well as tuvm had and gigi was extremely frustrated with the company's mismanagement. That was when she and Minji hatched a plan to get their group's name out there themselves.

Minji had been named the official leader of 2s, but everyone knew that she and gigi shared the title, the same way they share everything. Hana and Kijung were both kept in the loop on the plan, but the two best friends were the ringleaders. Kijung and Hana began applying for modelling jobs and commercial gigs under Minji and gigi's guidance, while Minji started auditioning for musicals and gigi petitioned the company to send her to Immortal Song 2. It took a lot of wheelding but eventually gigi succeeded in securing a guest spot which expanded for five more episodes. She never won, but she was quite pleased with her high rankings each episode. The other three girls were less successful with their endeavours but the company did manage to scrape together money for a comeback in early spring of 2017 so their efforts were far from in vain.

I need you didn't have a music video, but with gigi's raised awareness the song actually did quite well, not charting (hard to do without a mv) but bringing in a decent amount nonetheless. Between that and knk's semi-successful comeback gigi was optimistic about the group's chances to once again reach for their place in the spotlight. But instead of giving them another comeback ynb started pushing minji and gigi's plan, assisting kijung and hana with getting spots on variety show and securing photo shoots. They also scheduled in minji's musical auditions and pushed gigi to begin auditioning as well. While gigi wasn't against the idea she was incredibly annoyed at having to wait yet again to get onto the idol stage, which was where she really wanted to be.

Finally, the next summer they got to release excuse me, which had a higher budget for its music video and, gigi thought, real potential to launch their careers the same way up and down had for exid. The four girls put everything into the comeback, and while it did quite well it still didn't top tuvm and ynb ended up shuffling 2s to the side to wait out their contracts so they could be quietly kicked to the curb in favor of the struggling knk. Gigi was furious.

So when she learned about lost legends (hani was the one who contacted her about it and gigi will pretend it wasn't an act of pity and charity) gigi knew that she had to get onto it. She's going to get her group's name back out there and show the world that Jeon Goram is truly the next generation of idol.
