namjoon and yuyeon's mothers were friends from college, so the two always saw each other growing up. the two year between never affected their friendship, though namjoon always acted like an older brother towards yuyeon. as he's known her since young, namjoon is very protective of her and he's one of the first few people she'll turn to when she is sad or in trouble. she can trust him with her deepest, darkest secrets and he knows he can do the same with her. they're so comfortable with each other that namjoon can just buy pads for yuyeon if she asks and he can walk shirtless around her. when they hang out, they try to converse only in english so namjoon can improve his english speaking skills. she's always one of the first persons to hear his latest compositions and even though she's no rap genius, he's always open to her criticism and feedback.

— shortly after bloom disbanded, yuyeon announced on social media that she was getting married to jimin. several fans were confused, because everyone thought that she and jimin ended their relationship due to jimin leaving for the army. yuyeon then posted a letter explaining to fans how jimin proposed to her before he left for service in spring 2023 and how the two managed to keep a long distance relationship. it worked perfectly, because just as bloom's contract ended, jimin finished his military service and had no intention of returning to bts. although they received some negativity for hiding their engagement, there was mostly positive feedback and congratulations from fans.
— so in the summer of 2025, just a couple months after bloom's disbandment, moon yuyeon became park yuyeon, as she married the love of her life. the couple shortly moved to yuyeon's hometown of irvine after to slowly adjust to married life and out of the prying eyes of the korean media. a year later, they welcomed their first child, a girl. a son soon joined the family another two years after, and now a third is due in the fall of 2030.

— hey break up after two years of dating. although they told the public that their relationship ended because of busy schedules, it was actually because ilhoon and yuyeon didn't share the same future. they had different ideas of what they wanted, and found that they couldn't work out because of that. they still ended on friendly terms and were polite to one another after. however, ilhoon can't help but wonder if yuyeon was "the one", and that he was stupid to let her get away.

— yuyeon decided not to renew her contract with bloom because she was simply tired of the idol life. she was approaching thirty, so her body wasn't as young as it used to be. she felt that her time as an idol was up, and that the chance to be a star should be given to the younger generation. yuyeon also wanted to start her own family, because having children was another dream of hers. she had a fiancee waiting, and juggling a married life as an idol wasn't easy. she was happy that she got to live her dream for the last ten years.
