Hello loves~ My name is Cherry. For years I've dealt with depression, neglect, emotional abuse, molestation/violation, and an unknown condition. Now, 6 years of having serious health concerns, severe stomach conditions, fevers lasting months at a time,  and migraines, I have finally been diagnosed with Lupus.

My Story: Short Version and Why I Started This Thread

Personally, I've always used aff as a means to write my sorrows in forms of fics or vent sessions and lots of people have messaged me saying they felt comforted by me expressing my pain- that they felt they weren't alone and they were glad someone can put their feelings into words they didn't know how to express at times.

Lately, I've been sinking back into my own dark, depressing cave of solitude in the comfort of my mind after being diagnosed with Lupus and having other personal situations going on. I questioned myself so many things. The more I researched and looked for people who relate, I only found myself falling deeper in a hole. From all the sites and apps I saw, none of them could really relate to me: my situation, my illness/disease, my age, and especially my interests.

This night of research thus lead me back here, my aff home. A home I found friends who support me, friends who understand and are patient, friends that share my interests, etc. I met and found many people with their own problems along the way of course and saw countless venting blogs and stories.

So, the lightbulb went off in my mind and here I am ^^

I hope that this idea grows and helps out anyone in any way, big or small ♡

For anyone who would not like to share so openly, my inbox is always open. I will be here for anyone as much as I can through my own mental and health state.
