⁺˖┆ 李肖俊 -- li xiaojun is his official chinese name. he was born and mostly raised in jilin, so his parents had gifted him a chinese name to 'fit' in, so to say, though it wasn't a name his clan enjoyed to use. he is more known by as li xiaojun then that of his birth name. he is also more comfortable with this name since he was mainly called xiaojun for most of his lifespan. he was only called deokjun in korea for a short stint, but no one really calls him that (well, maybe except for sion).
⁺˖┆ zachery -- his official english name that is on his records. he used it mostly as his stage name while under his old group, a name to hide behind, but nowadays, he barely uses it. it's now just another statistic on his profile.
NICKNAMES
⁺˖┆ classy hoe -- while others may be considered hoes, then xiao is the classy hoe. he doesn't flaunt his 'hoe' ways, he's very classy about it and shows it when it's necassary like on stage and performing.
⁺˖┆ baba -- just one of the many variations of xiaojun's fatherly endearments. due to him being older than most of the members and the fact that he's the leader as well, it's only natural that he's called such. he's been called many different versions of this nickname: baba (chinese for dad), appa (korean for dad), dad, daddy, etc.
⁺˖┆ xiao -- a shortening of his chinese name that he's called on a daily basis.
⁺˖┆ jun -- other than being called xiao, jun is another shortening of both of his names. though, this nickname is a lot more personal to xiao and only allows those close to him to call him such (the group members).
⁺˖┆ deokjun -- it's weird how one would grow apart from their birth name to the point that it becomes a nickname. much like jun, xiaojun doesn't really let anyone call him deokjun except for ones he is extremely close too. most don't even know that this is his real name and questions how people know it when he doesn't know them.

⁺˖┆ chinese -- despite him being korean and his clan originally hailing from korea, they fled korea and relocated to jilin before xiaojun's birth and as such, he learned how to speak mandarin before he learned korean. has lost a bit of fluency since coming back to korea, but he'll never forget his first language. he knows how to hold a decent conversation in cantonese, but he was never very fluent and it's very disjointed. his mandarin is better than his cantonese, obviously. 95%
⁺˖┆ korean -- originally used to be a rubbish at korean as his family had him learning mandarin before korean and then only gave him the occassional korean lesson as he grew up, but when he fled to korea in 2010, he found himself soaking in the language a lot easier. he is know at a fluent level. he has a faint seoulite dialect. 100%
⁺˖┆ english -- surprisingly, xiaojun was given more english lessons than korean ones while he grew up. some would say he had quite the knack for the language, but it was obvious he wasn't a native speaker. when fleeing to korea with his american born korean identity, he had to learn to speak english as if he was a native speaker. much studying went into doing so and as such, he speaks as if he was born and raised in america. some people tend to forget about his english proficiency and he likes to surprise them from time to time. 95%

many people tend to take a double take when they see xiaojun. the man is certainly a visual, his face fitting korean beauty standards easily. a jawline that's sharp, eyes that practically sparkle, plumb red lips are the usual facial features many people point out at first.
xiaojun's face is usually set to one mood: calm. he doesn't show much emotion or expressions unless the time calls for it. and when the mood calls for it, he shows it. the best expressions he pulls off are smouldering effects, anything coming off as y or dark kinds of expressions are his forte.
after his face comes his build. xiaojun's body is to die for. his body is toned and athletic, perfectly in shape. he prides on his broad shoulders and distinct abs which he will flaunt just for the fans and or eventual lover. he has long, muscular legs that are always showcased whenever clad in skinny jeans or tight-skinned pants.
tattoos litter xiao's body. his two most popular tattoos are the ones on his chest & neck which were the tattoos that he got when he seperated from his family. the one on his neck reads the date he left his family in roman numerals (VIII.XII.MMX) and the one of his chest reads this saying which is something he felt connected with. his other tattoos are music notes on his right wrist (he got it in 2012, when his first group debuted), a simple black moon behind his left ear (which he got when he turned 24 and stopped aging, it was his first tattoo and a tradition from his clan), and a spider lily on his left hip (which is he got in 2016, when he joined dps).
xiaojun has many piercings on his person, easily visible and others hidden. both ears are pierced (ref. seungwoo) and usually have dangling earrings in them (as they tend to bring attention to his long neck). he does have a eyebrow piercing on his left brow, but it's not a usual one that he wears. he never wore it during his old group's time. it's taken out most of the time, but it seems heesu might let him wear it during devil promos. his ears were pierced after fleeing to korea, but he got his eyebrow piercing after his old group was forced to disband.
one of his hidden piercings include skindivers on his right collarbone, two to be precised. not exactly hidden persay, as the members of devil know of these piercings very well, but they're piercings that are hidden from the public. it's unknown if heesu will allow him to show the collarbone piercings eventually. he got his collarbone piercing sometime after he left his disbanded group.
xiao has one more hidden piercing, one that only lovers know about.
STYLE
remember what all those bad boys on dramas look like? all the leather jackets and tight pants? well, that's essentially xiaojun's closet. he also dresses to impress, not really because he wants to, but because that's how he was raised to show himself as (and it's hard to break a habit).
tdlr when going out at night, he dresses like he owns the night and riding a motorcycle. during the day and when eyes are on him, he mostly wears tailored suits and high-end comfortable fashion.
once in a while, you can find him in comfy soft sweaters and sweats, but only when it's vacation time and he's hidden in the depths of the dorms.

originally thought of as demons in old times, vampires are creatures of the night that are said to drink the blood of humans. much of that is true as xiaojun does need to drink blood, much more than your average vampire due to his lineage.
xiaojun comes from a old pureblood vampire clan. he was born into vampirism, hence his 'pureblood' status. he stopped aging at the ripe age of 24, though it seems to vary between pureblooded vampires though turned vampires have the short-end of the stick, stuck at the age they turned.
due to being pureblooded, his reflexes and strengths are much more enhanced than that of turned vampire.
since xiaojun was born into his vampirism, he doesn't really remember the year he was born as it's really not documented in his clan.

everyone knows how calm and steady xiaojun is, but that's it. he hardly is seen with a different expression on his face and it's not something he can turn off. he's always showing his calm disposition even in dire situations, which makes people fairly suspicious. xiaojun is also very indulgent, especially with himself. he treats himself and people he's close to with anything they want essentially. it also doesn't help that he's rich and has the resources to do so. he can be totally possessive, that is something that everyone knows. he demands for most people's affections (whether he realizes it or not) and he will find a way to get everyone's attention. much like how indulgent and flirty he is, xiaojun is ual by nature. is something xiaojun uses to help relax himself, to de-stress. it's something that he has always done since he was of age. xiaojun is definitely a private person, keeping much about himself quiet. it's not like he doesn't like telling people about himself, he's just naturally a private person.

training was easy and hard at the same time.
easy as in, thanks to his vampirism, he learned things very easily with his fast reflexes and strengths, but hard because no one knew he was a vampire. he was simply zachery lee, a pretty korean american male that was vacationing in seoul who happened to get scouted on said vacation.
though xiaojun wasn't a quitter. he was able to fool the company, the staff, and the people around him. he strengthened his talents and glowed under the praise. his talents are what got him his debut in dsp media's newest boy group, their newest gamble into the kpop market.
despite only training for a short period of time, xiaojun was placed into the group for all his hard-earn training. he blended very well with the other members and the group stood strong together for their bond.
despite their strong bond, their debut...was unsuccessful, to be honest. they were drowned out by all the other big named rookie groups and were simply swept away, out of the spotlight. but xiaojun didn't let that get to him or to any of the members. it was a reminder to do better, that this wasn't the last of them!
after two lukewarm comebacks and a minor hiatus, xiaojun and the group came back with their third comeback and come back they did. netizens were surprised with the dark music video concept, which seemed like such a contrast to their group's previous concepts. xiaojun and the members finally thought this was going to be their moment, that things were finally going to look up for them.
until it's not.
after being nominated for the first time on a music show, the group was hit with a scandal, but not just any scandal. xiaojun's vampirism comes to light, something that was not supposed to happen. xiaojun knew he was being followed that day. he tried to keep his vampirism on the downlow, drinking animal blood and sneakily making his way to blood banks and not using his english name to not be noticed.
pictures of his red eyes, adversion to lights, his paler than healthy skin. it would be hard to try and cover this up. xiaojun had to come up with a story and fast.
thanks to some special connections, he was able to make a statement despite dsp media telling him to be quiet, he was able to explain that all those pictures were due to a rare disorder he has lived with called porphyria which has been nicknamed, coincidentally, the vampire disorder.
mainly due to the fact that he made a statement without dsp media's permission along with the fact that he kept the disorder a secret, his contracted was terminated. his termination caused the disbandment of his group and xiaojun felt like it was his fault.
somehow the news of his termination and the disbandment of his group reached his clan and they demanded he returned to jilin, to finally take his clan duties seriously. he refused. it seemed too coincidental, he's family had to have had something to do with this.
thankfully enough, another opportunity was right around the corner.
jung heesu, ceo of dsp network, instantly set out to find xiaojun. the ceo followed the scandal, reading every article and watching every news video. he called bluff on the disorder statement that xiaojun released. he knew a vampire, mainly because...he was one too. he knew the company needed someone like xiaojun. he had plans, big big plans for a boy group in the future. and he wanted xiaojun included in those plans.
and what heesu wants, heesu gets.
it didn't take long to persuade xiaojun to join dps network. xiaojun, who was in the middle of trying to think of what to do next, had nothing better to do and plus thought of this as a perfect opportunity. that and he knew exactly who jung heesu was. he'd have to revoke his vampire card if he didn't know who heesu was.
jung heesu was apart of the jung clan, the vampire clan that stepped up after his clan fled to jilin.
how could xiaojun refuse such an offer from him?
despite joining dps, xiaojun didn't train much. he was still grieving for the lost of his previous group. heesu didn't mind and gave xiaojun time to recoup. his boy group plans still had to simmer. during his little break, xiaojun let himself relax and not hide since coming to korea.
xiaojun was ready to rejoin training just as heesu began to announce the daemon projekt. early 2018, xiaojun was pushed into the project, already brought under the spotlight from the ceo himself. a lot of pressure, right? but xiaojun was determined. this was his return, with a new profound way of thinking, he wasn't going to let these new group of boys down, especially if he was going to be gearing for the leader position.
training with these new boys was difficult at first, but it wasn't something xiaojun couldn't do. he managed wheedle he way into each member's hearts and eventually most of them did begin to look up to him, emphasis on most of them. the projekt went on for so long and xiaojun did his best to keep everyone's hopes high.
when things were beginning to look official, xiaojun grew serious and helped keep everyone together with all that he could. despite their lineup changes, even surprise ones, xiaojun continued on and here he is. the official leader of devil.
