 YIHUA, 宜华 　hwa's hanja version of his name which means he/she's pretty. throughout her mother's pregnancy with him, the family though it'd be a girl until he was born. however, they decided to not change the name and that was the best decision they ever made according to hwa himself.

 HANA'S BROTHER 　honestly, being related to mother's member who has the biggest fanbase was a lot of pressure for hwa. when he was newly revealed in daemon projekt, there were a lot of rumors that he is hana's brother and later on confirmed by the entertainment. since then, it has always been hana's brother- not leehwa but to him, he really doesn't care because apparently, riding in his sister's fame is good publicity.

 PRETTY BOY 　hwa has always been called pretty boy since he was a kid. his delicate and fragile appearance makes it quite difficult to deny that he really is beautiful and even he knows it. this is a nickname that soon spread among the fandom after they see hwa call himself as devil's pretty boy.

 KING OF FANSERVICE 　hwa earned this nickname by actively interact with devil's fans. in addition, he is known for interacting with his fans in a unique manner by maintaining eye contact, hugs, high fives, or handshakes, and enjoying presents or signs created by fans while performing.

 ENGLISH 　intermediate. hwa is more confident in reading than speaking in english. in a country where english is not really spoken, he is not confident with his skills but he actually has good accent and can converse but his vocabulary is not that wide.

undeniably pretty is one of the words hwa is described and even he knows it. he has pale skin that is a little bit unnatural for a human which is kind of understandable as his origins are from the deep parts of the ocean. he exudes an aura of casual grace that draws admiring looks from everyone around him. dubbed as devil's flower boy, hwa has smooth skin, soft appearance, and a petite figure which is a staple for sirens. standing at five foot five and weighing only 53 kg, hwa is underweight and always stayed that way and fans worry because of his stature but sirens were always small.

hwa doesn't have any style preferences for his hair as he's fine if it's long or short. his natural hair color is black with light streaks of red and pink. he has no plans as of the moment to hide it and became his trademark during daemon projekt. but he'd like to explore other hair colors though.

hwa has no piercings or tattoos and has no plans on having one but he has a birthmark in his lower back in the shape of a flower-like.

hwa's style is distinct from the members and the concept of devil itself. he loves silky and satin textured clothes because of the flow it gives. like his appearance, his fashion style is soft and he always wear light-colored clothes. the only time he'd wear dark-colored clothes are onstage or if it's sponsored but if he were to dress himself, it will always be in colors: white, pastel, or muted.

he is also not afraid of the discriminations when it comes to fashion and tries every style that he's comfortable in. members say that he has the weirdest taste in clothes but to him, it's merely an expression of himself.

hwa loves to accessorize. he has no piercings so he uses clip-on earrings. he really loves pearls and tries to associate them in every outfit.

people often mstook mermaids and sirens are the same thing— trust me they are not. sure, there are a lot of similarities like they are both half-human and half-fish, they have beautiful voices, etc. but there are two thing that separates them. first is that sirens are much more evil than the merfolk. they are much cunning and manipulative than you expect. second, their appearances more scarier than mermaids. merfolk's half-human appearance is beautiful and friendly while sirens are more... unfriendly looking...

however, as time passed by, we are now in modern times. these creatures learned to co-exist with the humans and live harmoniously without causing them harm. leaving their old evil ways, sirens are now simply living in the land within the coasts of anywhere in the planet.

 

 01 　even though a lot of the population of the sirens left their old evil antics, they are still sirens through and through. they have captivating singing voices that hypnotizes people and manipulate their feelings with the siren song. with the siren song, they can control their victims and could cause obssession with the sea, eventually drowning them. the siren song could also induce fear to its victims. sometimes they use this when they are threatened.

 03 　their agility only takes effect once they are in their natural habitat. sirens are fast swimmers because of their tails that are made for catching their preys.

 04 　sirens have splitting headaches from hearing noises that are far away from the ultrasonic frequency. for instance, some people may even die from powerful hypersonic waves. they can see through murky waters as well as during the night thanks to their improved night vision.

 05 　by kissing a person, sirens can also give the gift of temporary underwater protection. they can breathe just as they would on land for the length of time they are submerged in water, but they are still vulnerable to the sea's hazards, including temperature changes and water pressure. the enchantment ends when they get back to the surface.

 06 　though sirens cannot talk directly to sea creatures, they can feel what they want to say. they also have telepathy with other sirens but only within a limited range.

 07 　they can use another type of singing voice to avoid enchanting the people around them but the method is very tiring for sirens.

 01 　turning into their siren form is a lot different from the tv shows as it takes a lot more than a little drop of water. they should be in the sea or ocean, even rivers or lakes could work but nothing compares to saltwater. however, if they are only exposed to anything wet for a long time, they could possibly turn into their original form but has low probability. if they had skin contact with water, scales will be visible to where the water dropped or splashed.

sirens mostly look like this and hwa is not different. they only differ when it comes to the tail streaks and hwa has red and pink in his. they have sharp teeth, almost shark-like that was used to prey on their victims.

 02 　hwa's human form is just like every other human but there are a few unnatural things in his appearance. his hair has light red and pink streaks and it differs from siren to siren. it's usually the same color as their tail streaks in water. as for hwa, his hair color streak's a mix of red and pink. (here is an example of what i imagine his hair but make it shorter and with more red color in it :DD)

 03 　unlike humans, hwa's teeth are sharper than normal. it is a subtle difference but noticeable when observed properly.

 04 　hwa's eyes are colored dark moss green that appears brown in normal lighting. when the sun shines in his eyes, the greenness is more visible.

 01 　a rise in cortisol levels will make a siren increasingly agitated and violent until its predatory impulses are fully developed. singing the siren song could lessen that negative effect.

 02 　though sirens are amphibians, their natural habitat is still in the ocean. for pure-bred sirens, prolonged time in land can cause extra weakness, dehydration, asphyxiation, and their skin will become irritated and dry.

for early signs of dehydration, their skin will start to dry and irritated. first aid is they could soak in a tub or spend time in the shower to cool it off. but after an extensive period of staying in land, they will experience lack of oxygen and become frail, the only way to regain their strength is to be in the ocean or prey on humans, which they don't do for almost a hundred years already.

 03 　though sirens are considered mortals but they live a long life and could live up to hundreds of years. hwa is still considered a kid even though he's already 19 years old in human age.

 04 　sirens are weak in land compare to them in their natural habitat. in the ocean, they are strong and could even lift an anchor. however, for odd reasons, their strength fades whenever they are in land. dehydration causes extra weakness that is why they should monitor their condition in land.

 THE ANGEL 　the resident social butterfly of devil, hwa is undeniably irresistible like her sister. he has a natural positivity that lights up the room and naturally draws people into him. hwa's bold personality is characterized by confidence, assertiveness, and fearlessness in expressing himself. he tend to embrace new experiences with optimism, viewing obstacles as opportunities for growth rather than setbacks. he is also able to motivate people around him and motivate them with his eagerness and determination.

hwa is a people person, he enjoys being around others and has a strong social skill that never runs out of things to talk about. he is the type to thrive in a new environment and have a lot of friends at the end of the day. he has a natural ability to connect with others on a personal level. to hwa, everything is meant to be experienced first-hand and kind of has the fear of missing out. he focuses on the present rather than the future and prefers to take action than to sit in and think about the what-ifs.

as someone whose love language is physical touch, hwa is clingy to people he is close to or at least he considers close. he is often seen clinging onto the devil members or engage any skinship. however he knows his limits to the members who doesn't really like touching.

 THE DEVIL  　all sirens are manipulative, no exceptions. he is adept at identifying others' vulnerabilities to manipulate them effectively. hwa often engages in subtle manipulation tactics, such as manipulation through flattery or charm, or more overt forms, such as coercion or intimidation. his manipulative trait is dangerous because of his excellent people skills, please be careful with him... he may look like an angel but trust me, he's not unu.

hwa is an expert at using intelligence and deception to achieve his goals or outwit others. hwa uses his sharp wit and keen observation skills to anticipate others' actions and motivations, allowing them to stay one step ahead in various circumstances. this is the thing with sirens because they may be weak in land and strong in water but they are dangerous either way. they often  harbor a strong sense of entitlement, expecting special treatment and privileges without regard for others' needs. they display manipulative behavior to control or exploit others for their own gain.

coming from a heritage where music was a big part, lee hwa was born from a lineage of sirens on the 9th of december 2002 in the coasts of busan, south korea. he was the youngest child of kim sehee and lee jaejung who are both sirens and musicians in land. hwa might not remember when he learned how to sing but he sure remembered that every night, he would hear her mother sing to her the most beautiful song he ever heard.

from a family of musicians, it is only natural for hwa to be naturally drawn in the music industry. the biggest inspiration for him to enter the idol world was his sister, lee hana, who is a member of dps network's first girl group, mother. the group's achievement brought hwa a wave of insight and inspiration to follow the steps of her sister.

a lot of companies where after mother's lee hana's little brother when word got out that he opened his youtube channel in 2016. hwa had the time of his fame during that year. several e-mails about the companies inviting hwa to audition for them, or random casting staff waiting for him outside the school. however, it was in 2017, hwa was only fifteen years old, when he auditioned for dps network. hwa had a great deal of offers from big entertainments but without a doubt, it was dps network in his heart.

 

 SEA 　it's his home so... yeah... it brings him a different kind of comfort even though he spends most of his time living in land.

 ACCESSORIES 　goes to his list of obssessions. he has a drawer dedicated to his accessories only. most of it are pearls though but there are variety of other kinds too.

 SHARKS 　a little odd but hwa absolutely adores sharks of any kind. if asked what animal he likes, he'll answer sharks. he even befriends them when he's in the ocean.

 SKINCARE 　hwa is a huge advocate for skincare. he knows a lot and has ton of skincare products in the dorm. please wear sunscreen - says hwa.

 AQUARIUM PARKS 　hates how they are keep in captivity for entertainment of humans. also with the skill to communicate with them... hwa just feels so much for the animals in it.

 DOLPHINS 　knowing their real nature, hwa despises these sea creatures. just a big no.

 COFFEE 　is a big no. he is not a fan of the palpitations and how he cannot sleep after drinking it.

 TRAVELING 　be it in land or sea, hwa likes to travel. he is good at directions and can go anywhere spontaneously.

 SOCIALIZING 　anywhere he goes, he won't go out of the place without socializing with the people. he'd randomly talk to the people in the street, public transpo, anywhere.

 BATH 　after a tiring day, a soak in the tub is hwa's routine. if he is not yet scheduled for his return in busan, this is his go-to hydration.

 SLEEPING HABITS 　hwa moves a lot in his sleep and sometimes end up on the floor. he also covers himself with a blanket and cannot sleep without doing it. the members are concerned with this habit of his and removes the blanket from time to time to let him breathe.

 DEHYDRATION 　hwa experienced dehydration once as a trainee. during those times, he had schedules for when he should go back in busan for hydration but it was a tough week and the training was more arduous which resulted in him getting dehydrated faster than usual. he got asphyxiated and was almost rushed to the hospital. since then, he kept track of his condition from time to time to avoid the worse that happened to him once.

 INSECTS 　especially spiders, cockroaches, worms, or anything that immediately vanishes when you take your eyes off them. he'll panic at the sight of them and scream if it touched him or went near him. 

 IRRELEVANCE 　hwa thrives on attention and being irrelevant is one of his biggest fears. he cannot imagine life if he's not on the spotlight.

lee hana is known for her optimistic and positive vibes and doesn't really differ from his little brother. she treats hwa with care and affection, akin to a mother caring for her child. hana spoils hwa, fulfilling his desires and providing him with anything he asks for. hwa looks up to his older sister with admiration. he sees her as a role model, inspired by her achievements as a famous singer. this admiration fuels his aspirations, as he aims to follow in her footsteps.

despite their close relationship, hana and hwa still bickers from time to time just like other sibling relationships. they are also known in the industry

 2017-2018 　hwa trained for a year in dps network. he joined in early 2017 after passing the audition.

 DPS NETWORK 　seeing his sister's trainee days, hwa thought it'd be easy until he's the one experiencing it. hwa passed the audition thanks to his vocals and charm (and the fact that he's lee hana's brother). but beside that, the training was exhausting physically and mentally. lee hwa who is always confident had experienced a new thing after his slow improvement in dancing. it's quite accepted as he did not have any prior experience in training but even after a few months on focusing on dancing, he only showed a little improvement.

after a year in dps, the daemon projekt was launchhed and hwa is one of the original trainees that was introduced. he is heavily criticized for his dancing, saying that he doesn't suit the pre-debut group at all. despite the hardship, hwa did not think of quitting and instead did everything to enhance and build on his dancing skills.

during his training in dps, hwa got a long very well with the trainees (except minjun lolol). he was sure that they will all debut until three of them left. he got anxious and worried of the fact that there is a possibility that more will leave. after the new faces joined, it was hard for hwa as there's no certainty that they'd stay and the trust that built isn't like what's established within the group.

 

 YOUTUBE CHANNEL 　had a youtube channel named @LEE HWA where he posted song covers. hwa made it in 2016 and lasted until he became a trainee at dps network. the channel was deleted after that.

 LAZY PERFORMANCE 　devil's hwa criticized for his lack of energy onstage. we all know that sirens are weaker in land; and after the dehydration incident, hwa keeps track of his condition both on and off stage to prevent it again from happening. this incident happened during one of devil's fanmeet (or wherever you think this fits most) and went on for a few more performances. hwa got criticized and k-nets called him names like lazy dancer, etc. 2019.

 INJURY 　devil's hwa suffer from ankle injury, to sit out promotions. after the lazy performer headline, hwa suffered from an injury during practice. he was experiencing mild dehydration and injured his ankle while practicing. though the injury can heal fast, he was instructed to sit out promotions for awhile to avoid suspicions. instead, he rested in his hometown in busan to fully recuperate and be fully hydrated when he comes back in seoul.

 RUDE ATTITUDE 　devil's hwa accused of rude attitude towards a member. hwa has his sarcastic and sass tendencies towards member. the incident was during a live where hwa was treating the member badly and even rolled his eyes. however this was an inside joke that only the devil members and fans understand. but according to non-fans and k-nets, his attitude was too much and inappropriate.

 BRAND AMBASSADOR 　hwa is vocal for his love for skincare and eventually became a brand ambassador for mediheal. he also became an  ambassador for a few brands like etude, prada, (more tba)

hwa's eyes wander, thinking of the boys that recently joined the team. "it was awkward at first, i will admit that. but now that they're part of devil, we all get along very well! i really like them, they did complete the lineup."

hwa sighs and makes a face of disgust, jokingly, "they are too chaotic and stops me everytime i sing. what do they expect? i am the main vocal." 

"ceo-nim, don't you think it's too much? first, we're devils, and now the concept is fallen angel?" naeun and pilgoon panics at hwa's answer. hwa enjoys the chaos that was happening behind the camera and purses his lips, stifling his laugh. "i'm kidding ceo-nim, it's the best concept. it's very unique among the groups!"

hwa gasps at the question, "of course it's taeyeon sunbaenim! i am a big fan of her!" he smiles at the camera. "in dps, it's the mother noonas of course... how can i forget them." hwa purses his lips and giggled...

hwa tilts his head at the question, "i'd say it's my singing..." he smiles confidently, "and of course it's my face. where would you find a face like this?" he answered and winks at the camera. naeun and pilgoon show no emotions as they are used to this...

hwa bows and waves to the camera, "i am leehwa, please take good care of me and devil."
