Innocent: Soye is really innocent and naturally cute. She’s young so she doesn’t know many things. She blushes at even the word kiss or doing more y moves makes her shy while practicing though on stage she does it fiercely then gets shy afterwards. She asks a lot of questions, sometimes without a care of if it's the right time. During shows she’ll ask like ten questions to the host to make sure she understands. She’s nosy too like looking at her friends phone when they text. She isn’t very good at keeping secrets either, she would unintentionally expose her friends true selves during interviews. She also likes to try new things and is down for anything that sounds fun or peeks her interest but is wary about getting in trouble. She trusts others easily and can talk to them easily too.

Polite: Soye treats everyone with respect, her parents raised her right to be polite and bow all the way when meeting people. She never addresses older contestants in a casual manner so if she ever got the opportunity to for 60 seconds she would be super excited. She is also the type to clean up after people just because its the right thing to do and never seeks praise for her actions.

Hardworking: Soye is desperate to make it as an idol so she takes every opportunity she can to better herself. If that means taking an extra practice session during her already hectic schedule then she will. She doesn’t mind practicing long hours until she’s exhausted, even if she whines from muscle pain she will still do it again fully.

Enthusiastic: She wants everyone to succeed so she encourages ther contestants too, but she knows its impossible so the process of people always leaving is so cruel to her. She’s still a kid so she has her moments of being immature and loud during practice but she always concentrates in the end. She’s so determined that’s why staff and other contestants have to pester her to do her homework a lot of the time.

Clueless: Soye is known for being painfully slow witted. She is the person that doesn't get the joke until everyone stops laughing and she's dying on her own. Then when she doesn’t get it she’ll whine about it so others can explain what’s happening then laughs late. Soye doesn't notice the little things in people. She’s not observant at all unless something is obvious. She isn't the type to look for hidden meanings in things because she expects it all to be straight forward. She’s very simple minded. The only time she’s attentive is when she’s on stage because she wants the performance to go well. She’s very professional on stage so if anotner contestant is struggling or falls she’ll help them with no hesitation. Whenever they mess up she’s determined to get back in the studio to try again.

Moody: Soye is usually happy but she cries easily. She’s going through puberty so sometimes she gets sassy and is annoyed over small things. She doesn’t mean it though because it’s just her hormones and she usually apologizes after being moody. Sometimes she has a really bad overthinking habit because of her past experience in the industry. She can't help to think of the worst case scenarios and gets quiet or cries about it. When she sees negative comments she’ll feel down about it and isn’t good at ignoring them. But after talking about her problems she feels better and optimistic again. It’s also why she loves being around others and trying so hard to help them.

Dependent: Soye depends on others a lot, since she’s still young she’s not very independent and asks for help a lot or just wants someone to stay in the studio with her when she practices. Even if they’re on their phone the whole time or sleeping in the corner.

Overthinking: Since her clock is ticking to become successful, she overthinks every little mistake she makes and thinks shes going home for it. Its led her to be a bit more pessimistic than usual and cry even more than usual too. She's too soft for this process.

Soye came from college professor parents that had her late in life. They expected an academically inclined kid because they’re both insanely smart but instead Soye was born. She preferred playing outside over reading and since her parents were older it was harder to keep up. When she started school she didn’t get good grades, her studies were quite bad actually. Her best subject was sports and she had a lot of energy so her parents put her in Chungtae Idol Academy at six hoping it would get her tired later on and help her focus more on studies. It didn’t help much though they only wanted it to be a hobby. Instead she fell in love with dancing and singing and she wanted to be an idol too.

It was around this time that her parents started arguing a lot more about many things. Her parents would get into bad fights that scared Soye. She felt like it was her fault because she wasn’t doing good in school. It didn’t take long for them to divorce and Soye stayed with her mom while her dad moved out. She was 7 then and rarely saw her parents together. A year later her dad got remarried and had another baby on the way. Soye still saw her father some weekends but felt abandoned like she wasn’t good enough to be his daughter and he didn’t love her.

That same year her idol academy went to the Dream Concert that’s held every year and Soye fell in love with Mamamoo’s Moonbyul. She never saw rapping before that, they only taught them singing and dancing at the academy since they were so young. Sure she heard it in songs but seeing it live was different, they were so cool. She had an amazing idea while watching all those idols perform that if she too became an idol her parents would come together whenever she performs to watch her and they’ll be so proud of her for making it big that they’ll get back together.

She started training in rapping at the academy too after asking them. Many companies from big to small would hold auditions at the academy to find trainees so Soye practiced hard so she could pass one. In 2016 a company called Kids Planet came for auditions at her dance academy. She tried out randomly but actually made it. Her parents were against her joining but she begged so much until they said yes. They told her they’re giving her until highschool to live out her dream and try to make it as an idol. If she doesn’t make it by her freshman year then she’ll quit and focus on school so she can get into a SNU which is where they both went too. So now Soye is determined to be famous and get her parents back together.
