personality Cynthia isn't the easiest to get along with, but once you do, it will be so worth it. She's a strong-willed girl who would be such a better fit to be 2LITE's leader, but since she only joined after a few years, choeun didn't want to give it to her. She's usually very calm and also a tough one to crack, but once she has her eyes on something, she won't let it go. She's stubborn and very competitive as well, and isn't always likeable because of all that. Outside of that, she's quite sweet though, and also optimistic, keeping a positive view on life even when she loses. She keeps fighting on Kali's side and even though she sometimes does voice her opinion strongly, she now lets Kali have the leader spot because she's so determined. Cynthia is very confident in herself, being an awesome singer and also quite pretty, but sometimes it can make her arrogant as well. She does remain polite at all costs though.
background When Cynthia's mother was pregnant with her, the Hong family decided to move to Portland. Both Cynthia and her big brother Cory loved singing a lot and Cynthia followed vocal class since a young age, and Cory would later on join her. They were expected to become stars, but they wouldn't make it big in America, and they were adviced to become idols in Korea instead. But their parents only allowed them to go once Cory finished college, and Cynthia finished high school, and they had to go together. So finally, somewhere in 2010, they were able to go to Korea to realise their dreams. Cory would become the leader and main vocal of 24K in 2012, but when 24K's sister group debuted, there was no place for Cynthia. But her parents still didn't allow her to leave, and she wanted to stay with her brother too, so she stayed in choeun's dungeon. Members kept being added, but not Cynthia. Until 2014, when her chance finally came to replace the old leader. Cynthia became the main vocal of the group, but it created some buzz. Some fans decided to hate on her, saying she could only make it because she's Cory's little sister. But once she showed her singing skills, the haters were shut up.
