— annoyingly, eunah is quite proud of her looks. a bit vain, but she is aware that she can be a member of the visual line even though it's not official. her face is definitely idol material with the blank canvas look she gives. she has a wide forehead that she embarrasingly covers with bangs usually. coupled with classic straight korean eyebrows, a long nose arch, and full heart-shaped lips. her eyes are slightly far apart, giving her a bit of an alien-effect, but she rocks with it anyway. her most noticeable feature is ... or her smile. she has an abnormally large mouth that allows her to smile widely (making her known for her smile), hit incredibly high notes, or to just be plain old loud. go eunah, the esfp friend everybody needs in their life. she is often described as the center of attention which is something she likes to hear. she's outgoing, fun, and adventurous. eunah's always looking for something to do with that extraverted personality of hers. very easy to get along with (especially at first), eunah is naturally sociable and never really feels awkward around people, even when she approaches them first. a care-free soul, she hardly thinks of the consciences first before she does what she wants.

but born as a libra, being harmionus and balanced, eunah tries her hardest to avoid conflict or stress. that sounds very conflicting due to eunah's more straight-forward, blunt personality. it's not that she tries to be rude, she's someone that believes in bottling up feelings and thoughts only make situations worse. eunah's the type to say what she's feeling, when she is feeling it, wholeheartingly thinking that that would clear the air. it's about how she does it that rubs the people the wrong way, and in turn probably making the situation worse. though, she is very opinionated and strong-willed. and while she is not truly aggressive, she'll have no problem saying what needs to be said in order to solve the issue. this makes her a good diplomat (sometimes) when it comes to group arguments.

bckground. 

born and raised in suwon, gyeonggi-do into a pretty normal family of a mother, father, and older brother, eunah's childhood was very stable. her family was comfortably in the middle class, living in a relatively nice apartment and took bi-yearly trips. she grew up in a christian household that wasn't too strict, but still went to church every week. eunah grew up with good morals and structure. but her dad would jokingly call her spoiled.

but what eunah remembers most about her childhood was falling in love with singing. her first memory of it was in primary school, maybe 1st grade, when her class had to learn a nursery song for the parent's to see. there were only three spots for a tiny little, miniscule solo part, but eunah loved the melody of the song and it was the highlight of her 1st grade days, that she wanted it so bad. her parents often remind her of how much she would sing that song at the house up until the day of the recital. with her "at-home practice", she obtained a coveted spot as a "soloist"; getting to sing one whole line by herself. but she loved it and felt special singing in the spotlight. and she remembers that.

since then she's always wanted to sing, she's known that. this resulted in always singing. whether she was loud at home or quietly singing to herself at school. it was her favorite thing to do. this led to her begging her parents to attend a music academy to officially learn vocal training. eunah had to beg for years, and in turn torture them with her slightly screechy belting throughout the night. her parents weren't necessarily too keen on her going to a music academy, as they preferred her focusing on her studies. therefore around age 13, she had to wager them a deal: she would bump up her grades in school, make personal records with her upcoming finals, and then she could attend a music academy as her christmas present. 

eunah worked so hard that year in order to get this present, and she did. her middle school finals were the best she's ever had so far, allowing her parents to support her singing dream. at the age of 13, eunah started attending B.U music academy for vocal lessons in the new year of 2014.

one of the main goals while studying at B.U academy was to get into a coveted spot at hanlim multi arts school, where they have some of the best facilities, teachers, and celebrity students. she did not feel confident that she learned enough before her first year of high school, so she just attended regular high school. the next summer, eunah auditioned as a 2nd year transfer, and got in due to her steady growth.

eunah was beginning to be content: going to school to sing and going after school to sing. then she realized she had to be a bit more competitive in order to make singing her life's work. she had to audition for an entertainment company or find some type of singing work as soon as possible. she consulted this worry of hers to her favorite vocal coach at B.U. she got word from her coach that her close colleague's company was newly acceping female idol trainees with intent on creating a girl group project. this close colleague was mhd's newly appointed vocal staff lead: kim eunha. 

of course she was going to take this opportunity, as it sounded like a sure-fire way to debut and soon. of course, eunah also applied to your other entertainment companies. you know the usual: jyp ent, sm ent, dsp ent, etc. but dare she say those were merely her backups. she mainly wanted to join mhd's project group to debut as soon as she could. eunah says her choice in song helped her get accepted (dangerous woman). but mhd was also desperate, contacting her literally the next day letting her know she was officially a trainee. "wow the next day? the company must've really wanted you!" "no, they were just desperate for girls."
 

LIKES.

— yerin baek  eunah cites yerin baek as her idol and vocal inspiration. her favorite songs are the other side and meant to be.
— fall  she claims its because of the fashion and the weather change, but we all know it's because of her birthday.
— reading and literature  yes, people she is pretty smart, whether you believe or not. you can find her reading usually backstage while getting glamed for stage. she also likes to read to bed. 
— sweet coffee  eunah is a coffee drinker, but despite iced black americano's being the "thing", she can't stand how bitter it is. she likes coffee with sweetner and milk, otherwise she gags. even when she has to have black coffee for dieting purposes, she has to have a little bit of sugar.
— psychological thrillers whether it's live action, korean, western, anime... she's entranced by thought-provoking, mind-altering themes.
— strawberries her absolute favorite fruit and flavor.
— nature  a true adventurer this one. eunah is not sensitive to the outside world; not afraid of bugs or wild animals (even though maybe she should be) she likes to be out and about, sitting in a park or hiking, being one with the world. 
— shopping  she's the type that if she see's something, she needs to buy it. and convinces herself that she needs it, when she truly doesn't. unfortunately, this is why she habors a lot of random stuff in the dorm. "i'm collecting!" "... sure."

DISLIKES.

— nuts  she's highly allergic, and also just really hates the texture of nuts.
— horror films  eunah claims that she can take it, that she's indifferent but that they are just stupid and predictable. *cue sleeping with the lights on*
— summer  it's too hot to go outside, and she loves going outside. the beach is pretty cool though, she thinks.
— romantic comedies  she personally just does not find them fulfilling. she's definitely juding you if she catches you watching them. and loudly too.
— dieting  eunah would probably describe herself as foodie. 
— exercise  she likes going outside, but she hates sports and anything to do with movement besides dancing and casual hiking.
— homebody  she's not one, and hates being stuck in the dorm on an occasional off day. catch her often dragging a member to hang out with her.
— strong scents  eunah has a pretty sensitive nose and will start sneezing controllably, so the girls have to watch what strong perfume they use around her.

while eunah has always had a bit of natural talent when it comes to vocals, she was mainly self-taught. until she entered b.u music. eunah grew up with pride in her voice, hearing from friends that she had a pretty tone and that "maybe you should audition for an idol company". but she realized how much she didn't know and was doing wrong when she began vocal lessons. she had an underdeveloped core, which allowed her to hit notes but strain while doing them. her belting was inconsistent and she lacked agility, which made adlibs and runs hard to do. she realized she wasn't as great as she thought, and so she buckled down in order to be one of the top vocal students by 2016.


— MHD ENTERTAINMENT [ november 2017 - present ]

when she joined mhd, she easily became one of the top vocal-based trainees. she didn't have to worry about that. she considered herself the favorite of trainer kim eunha, though she will never concede with how loud and abrasive eunah acts. (eunah is her fav though). she saw a clear path to debut right in front of her, with a deadline, but she just felt content with her vocals. she needed to polish her dancing skills as well, something she's never actually done before. she started off awkward and slightly stiff, but with a natural bounce and rhythm to her. it was just hard for her to remember choreography and connect her moves smoothly at first. in the year and then some of training, she dedicated it to becoming a tolerable dancer and a prideful vocalist.

vocals some of the most controlled within the group. known for her slightly deepr, raspier tone, but still a full sound with a wide range. a wide, full belt, but a light pretty falsetto. clearly, vocal coach eunha's favorite based off skill, but not personality wise. sometimes eunah can have trouble hitting the type of highnotes required for mOod ring's title tracks. she has the range, but she can have trouble with straining instead of singing from her diaphragm. becomes known as one of the best 4th gen female vocalists in kpop, citing her predebut covers posted on the mOod ring's youtube channel. x

as for dance, she is not anything special. she isn't terrible, either. within moodring, she fits right in the middle in terms of dance skill. she has the basic skill set down and a natural sense of rhythm, so learning new choreography is not a huge challenge for her. though more advanced dance moves may make her look a little awkward. she's not a great dancer, but eunah has a natural bounce that makes her stage presence look bright. x

rElAtnshp. 

— aria  at this point, aria is basically eunah's handler. aria's the one that can really check eunah if she's doing too much or just to smack her leg to tell her to be quiet. "too loud" but it's not maliciously, she just usually keeps her grounded. these two are friends, as close as aria can be with a loud person like eunah. but eunah highly respects aria, as one of the oldest and a hardworking producer, aiding in the success of mood ring. aria sees eunah as one of the most talented members of mood, one of the members that they can't succeed without. it's a mutual respect thing, and while they are slightly different, they grow closer over time. aria is also one of eunah's main victims. she notices how aria can often overthink and doubt herself, resulting in low moods from her. but eunah won't have that and will be the first one by her side ready to be her biggest cheerleader.

— hana these two are same-aged friends, making each other pretty comfortable with each other. they have similar interests, and choose to spend their free time the same way, resulting in them spending more time together. hana and eunah are often regarded as mood ring's "same-aged besties" becuase of their comfortable, relaxed, chill, but pretty close relationship. but it works because eunah is the ying to hana's yang; meaning they have their differences. hana can't stand the way eunah can be so loud, abrasive, and straight-up attention-seeking. she often teases eunah about it. "shut up!" "no!" but it's because they are comfortable with each other; they know they won't actually hurt each other's feelings. in return, eunah likes to roll her eyes and tease hana about her tactless, "head in the clouds" moments. she shakes her head often at her, eunah just doesn't get her sometimes. "is your head on straight, han?"

— fern  as one of the main perpetrators to call fern "perm", eunah is fern's tom to her jerry. known as the "tom and jerry couple" by fans, these two have plenty of fan-made youtube videos of thsee two just bickering, teasing, and play fighting with each other. eunah does it because she knows she will get a rise out of fern easily, and fern does it because she knows eunah will play around with her and have fun doing it. the reason they can be so playful with each other is because they are so close. they are so comfortable with each other to fight like real sisters, or so hana says. though at very rare times can the fights become a little bit more real and serious, especially if fern is feeling a little bit more sensitive and eunah, a little bit more blunt. when fern does tend to cry, eunah immediately is the one to roll her eyes, but then eventually comfort her like the good friend she actually is. "eunni-unnie!" "oh, perm!" "yah!" "yah!"

"COULD YOU INTRODUCE YOURSELF?".

— eunah widens her face and slightly lifts her eyebrows as she hears the direction. she blinks and then puts her hand over to stop her from giggling. "oh my gosh, this is so weird haha." she slows a laugh and pulls her self together, folds her hands in her lap to seem serious. "hello! I am mood ring's main vocal, eunah-imida!" she does a little double wave and almost scoffs a laugh at herself.

"WHAT ARE YOUR PERSONAL STRENGTHS?".

— "um..." eunah stares at the ceiling, thinking carefully before answering. "personally, i think i am good at bringing up the mood?" she does a little nod and squints her eyes. "the members say that i'm loud and that i am kind of a mood maker. i don't have this big mouth for nothing" she giggles. "i just don't like a bad vibe. if i can change the circumstance and make other people feel better, I will." she nods definitively.

"WHAT COLOR SUITS YOU?".

— "PINK!" she immediately says (read: scream) a little too loudly. she catches herself, pressing her lips down with embarrassment. "for what reason?" "hmm?" "well, pink means friendship, harmony, compassion, and approachability." "yes. all of that." she points, taking credit for the answer. "i think i definitely represent friendship and approachability. harmony...." she winces, unsure. "i also just love the color pink." she says quietly with a shrug. laughter ensues. 

"WHAT'S YOUR GOAL FOR MOod ring?" .

— finally eunah is looking serious, staring off as she fiddles her hands and answers: "i think we can all collectively say that we wanna make history. i want mood ring to be known for their talent, vocals, skills, dance, everything." she nods as she lists off. "we have such a unique concept with unique girls." she laughs a little. "i think we can attract a lot of fans."
