ROOM PREFERENCES Jackson prefers to share a room with either one or two roommates as it would help him save money on housing expenses. He is not too particular about the type of room he stays in, as long as it is comfortable and conducive for studying. Hello everyone, my name is Yee Qianxi, but you can call me Jackson. I'm 20 years old and I'm currently majoring in Computer Engineering. *stops for a few seconds. Tell a bit about myself? Well I don't think there's much to talk about, I'm just a geek I guess. *scratches head and chuckles a bit.

out of all the colleges in korea, why did you pick jeju university and why your major?

First of all, I choose Computer Engineeering because I have interest in computer systems, both software and hardware. Besides, by taking this major, I'm able to venture more into AI and robotics as Electrical Engineering don't really help in providing the skills in software.

Secondly on the university part, I choose Jeju University because it's in Jeju, my favourite island. *laughs. Jokes aside, it's because me and my brothers, best friends actually made a pact that we would study in the same university. Yes, I know that sound childish but it's not that bad.

where do you see yourself in 10 years?

I would say that in 10 years, I would be able to achieve my goals in career.

what would you say are your biggest strengths and weaknesses?

Hmmm *stay silence for a few seconds. I guess my biggest strengths would be organizational and logical? That is because these are the most important criterias in robotics and computing. As for weaknesses, I think it would be insensitive in what happening in the surrounding *chuckles a bit. My friends tend to say that I'm dumb in catching the situation and act accordingly. 

as a freshman you will reside in chungsam hall, what do you look for in a roommate? any lifestyle habits that you find intolerable?

I hope that my roommate is not that noisy. *laughs. Everyone needs their alone and quiet time, and I really cherish that a lot. I can't tolerate if my roommate is very noisy and bossy. Other than that, I'm alright with it.

I'm looking forward to the activities and events that I can join during the freshman year. Because I figured that as time goes by, I would be busy with studies so why not enjoy the events now first before work hard in the future.
