Background. (heavy wip)

Born and raised in Incheon, South Korea
Initially loved participating in sports as a kid. and had a dream to become a star athlete one day.
When he was was six, Yeonseok was forced to stop playing sports as he began having fainting spells when using too much energy 
His family quickly took him to the doctors only to find out that it was childhood leukaemia.
Yeonseok was often down as he couldn't do the things he loved anymore so his family decided to enrol him in music classes.
This happened to be a great help and driving force for Yeonseok as he was going through his treatment. He was finally declared cancer free when he was nine.
When he was given the all clear to go back to the sports he once loved, he decided he would rather pursue music.
Despite his young age, his family let him audition for many companies as it is what he wanted and they had only recently learnt how short life could actually be.
When he was ten, Yeonseok auditioned for SM and made it through.
He continued to train at many different companies over his 10 year training period before settling on DAL Media.

Likes.

Music / Music really helped him when he was younger and for that he is thankful. He is always either listening to music or singing or humming. Theres hardly a moment of Yeonseoks life that doesn't revolve around music.
Soft Things / They just feel really cozy to him. In his head there is not better way to spend a free night wraped in a warm soft blanket.
Warm Drinks / He has just always prefered them over cold drinks. He will even bring warm tea to practice instead of water.
Oversized Jumpers / Yeonseok is always cold and loves feeling cozy, so it's only natural he enjoys oversized jumpers.

Morohoshi Asuka / Joining DAL Media at the same time and being the same age, the two quickly sparked a friendship. Yeonseok quickly caught on to how some of the other trainees would treat Asuka due to them thinking she only got where she was due to her family money. As he had been treated different in the past due to his illness, he knew how harsh it could be at times. He decided quickly that he would try his best to make friends with Asuka and that he did. The two became close and have remained close. When it was announced they would debut together they were elated.

Twilight

Shin Youngho / Yeonseok and Youngho originally met at SM in 2012. Despite their age difference, the two were often put into the same vocal classes as they joined the company within the same time period. Youngho is someone Yeonseok admires greatly and sees him kind of like an older brother. After Youngho announced he would leave SM after just a year, Yeonseok remembers feeling extremely saddened but Youngho promised that they would keep in contact, and that they did. Over the next four years the two would often message eachother. Youngho would often worry about Yeonseok due to his young age. When Yeonseok finally transfered to DAL Media in 2017, Youngho welcomed him with open arms. Even though the two didnt train together due to Youngho already being places in Twilight for three years, he would often check in on Yeonseok. The two have remained close to this day.
