Why did this happen?!

OMG, I saw the author posting that her story is being reported which I just read for a chapter as I was busy with my work and study assignments. AND NOW she deactivate her account and there's quite a few of stories I subscribed but did not have time to read.

The sekai stories that she wrote is really good and nice which I really enjoyed reading.

I really don't understand why people keeps reporting authors' stories and those are really good and nice.

What would you earn by this? Are you really happy and satisfied about it?

Well thanks to whoever you are (I really hate whoever the person is), the author who is nice and write good stories has left..

I really hope she will be back and stories still remains.. I wanna read them... :'(

Well..instead of reporting,reader should encounter the author first..if u report the content,aff will directly remove the story...i meant,hey..if u dislike the content in that particular story,why bother to read them? Especially mostly author will put trigger warning if the content of her story might be triggering.. -.- some of author give up writing because of this..please be considerate,if u dislike something,at least told the author first instead of making report under anonymous name.. (btw,sorry i know this is out of topic but i saw a comment down there and i kind of disagree)

I don't know which author you are referring to, so I cannot speak for that situation. But, in general, when I report a story it is not my intention to stop an author from writing. It is simply to get content removed from the site that breaks the rules. An author shouldn't stop writing unless they want to. As readers, we should support our authors with kind (and helpful) comments. As an author, I'm not going to stop writing just because some yahoo reported me. Even when someone posts something against the rules, we should never bully them into leaving the site or stop writing. That's just an awful, mean thing to do.
