Probably Shouldn't Say This...

Age difference. 

This one topic can get me ed up in numerous ways. Shall we count?

  1. Awesome teenagers. Okay so teenagers are pretty stupid most of the time. Yes, there is a minority of teenagers who are well beyond their years but... No teenager I've ever met is a fully driven mini Michelle Obama with dance moves like Kai, a voice like Mariah and the swag of CL. Its just not real. And the fact that you have 20 something men chasing after these fake characters makes me feel like I should put them in e category. Looking for a underage brothel? Points in the direction of your story.  (Disclaimer... I am not saying that awesome teenagers don't exist I am saying that when you create them flawlessly with no errors no ups no mistakes, it is a small cry of I wish this were me. And I'm sad these exist. ) 
  2. Stupid Grown Men. Our oppas can be idiots. But I swear for the majority of the story if he's hanging on to the coattails of a fifteen year old ,swearing to god she's the best thing since sliced bread, I don't know how that can be validated to make him desirable. He will automatically go into the e corner ESPECIALLY IF HE HAS WOMEN HIS OWN AGE GOING AFTER HIM. Who the throws away a salmon dinner for a tuna sandwich? Idgaf how pretty the teenager is (see number 1) , age may be just a number but then again jail is just a place too.  
  3. Petty Grown Women. If you see a fic where a petty grown woman is trying to compete with a fetus. Unsub and walk away. That is self explanatory. But just in case, women don't compete with fetuses, insecure girls do. ( Currently weeping over the age difference fics now) 
  4. . The is wrong with you? I mean this is a little hypocritical. ( Cough) Basically reading a age difference is like catching your friend taking a . You know they do it, you don't want to see it though. I know we all imagine oppa giving us the most mind blowing ( coughs) experience. But reading someone write an agediff freaks me out.  I'm sorry. 

Basically all of this is just stuff I notice and hate in agediff. No disrespect, its all my opinion. But chances are it could be numerous other reader's opinions as well.

I have always been perturbed, by that whole "age ain't nuttin' but a numba" BS that these chi'ren (and adults) use to get away wit straight up inappropriate relationships. Like you, I don't enjoy reading about it. xD It's a huge turn-off.
Come on, it's fanfiction and they can do whatever they want, but WHY NOT make their favorite ahjussi into a teen version of himself?? And don't even try to cheat by making his description exactly like his grown self then saying "he looks so mature for age 17".
I have some some ish like that too.
I wish I could forget.

To me, it really depends on the age difference. If you ship yourself (you're 15) and your "oppa" (let's say it's BamBam because that's my heart son and he's 17), that's really no big deal. But when you ship yourself with K.Will (he's like 30), that's pretty gross and K.Will could and will go to jail for that.

I mean *cough* I really love K.Will. Like legit. My friend and I call the 30+ kpop male idols "Appas" because they're too old for us, but still, who thinks K.Will is ugly? *cricket sounds* The thing is, I would be really freaked out if I met K.Will and he started flirting with me. Again, I love him like a lot, but I'm only 17 and he's 30. At least wait until I'm (or in this case, the character), so then it wouldn't be illegal, but a little weird.

Thank you! I understand that you like older nothing wrong with that but atleast like them when you're legal yourself. A barely gone through puberty thirteen year old girl/boy should be in a serious ual relationship with a 24 year old man/woman and if that happens somebody better call child services and throw someone in jail...

e stories are gross. Why would you go after a acne-covered teen when you can go for a better woman/man (I don't discriminate) you own goddamned age, which is also legal, mind you.
