As Clueless as Karasuma

I'm stepping foot on the s.s. anime because kdrama land is starting to bore me a bit.

If theres anyone who could explain a little bit about some genres or make pretty good recommendations

I am currently into Ouran, ive read some mangas before(yes i know the diff between manga and anime) Love Com, Perfect Girl Evolution and of course Cartoon network raised me with DragonBall Z as a youngin so i have some understanding of animes.

I just want some anime thats similar to ouran to start that show is hilarious.

Let me know of any suggestions in the comments or pm if u wish

Oh man, Ouran is my show, i watched it multiple times and still die from laughing lol.

Another shoujo (it means its typically targeted towards young girls and women but not exclusively), Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun is pretty good, its also a romantic comedy and makes fun of gender stereotypes. There's also Special A which has funny moments and Fruits Basket is reaaally similar to Ouran yet still different.

If you want action/shounen (which means its typically targeted towards boys and men but not always), like the Dragonball series, then I suggest Bleach, Katekyo Hitman Reborn, Fairy Tail, Inuyasha, Death Note, Fullmetal Alchemist and Attack on Titan, those are some faves of mine. There's also Kuroko no Basuke which deals with basketball and has its funny moments.

There are two Seinen (targeted towards adult men) I can suggest, Code Geass which is mecha(has a lot of robots and advanced technology), deals with war and societal issues. There's also a show called Another if you like a little horror.

Whew, that's quite a bit, I'm such a nerd (i blame Sailor Moon ಥ⌣ಥ ). But I hope this helps! =^_^=

You might like Barakamon. There's some comedy there. I've heard very good things about One Punch Man as well, but be warned, it's not a complete series just yet.

I personally prefer darker shows so if you have time, try Psycho-Pass, Tokyo Ghoul, and Soul Eater.
