First thing first, I'm not here to bash about GFriend, I like their debut song, I will keep an eye on this new girl group. It's just, they reminded me so much of Snsd, and here I would credit the choreo for that. Watching their debut stage, I could almost see Snsd dancing ITNW in front of me. Just watch this, trust me.

You could see some parts are very similar to Snsd's ITNW (I could also point out some Apink's choreo too), but that doesn't mean I'm going to hate this new girl group. 

All of the similarities (choreo/ outfit/ image/ melody of the song) sums up to one word - popularity. The first rule of 'how to be popular' is 'people have to talk about it', when people talk, words will spread, when words spread, you're not far from being popular. It doesn't matter with the nature of the words, be it good or bad, funny or serious, people just have to talk. You don't have to be elite or perfect, you can be bad or weird, all you have to do is let others talk about you.

I'm so giving cookies to the business team in GFriend's company. They did make GFriend popular by letting people talk about it (here I am one of the people lol), they introduce us SinB (who resembles Jessica), the debut song (that reminds people so much of the nation's no.1 girl group).

To me, it seems that things GFriend does keep linking people back to Snsd. Well, that is the rule of 'how to be popular ASAP' - 'go under the shadow of the most popular'. Why take the stairs when you have the lift? Sure GFriend can boost their popularity step by step, by releasing good music, good choreo; but if there's the lift (being Snsd's lookalike) that can take you up so much faster then why not? When they're up and high just exit at any floor and change the choreo/ outfit/ image/ songs, basically everything, but don't they worry, the popularity will still be there with them cause they already had it when they first took the lift.

Btw, I do think SinB looks pretty and a bit like Jessica.
