I totally get it, Produce101 is a show about popularity but not talent, and Sohye debuting is absolutely foreseeable. I tried to like Sohye but it’s hard, then I tried to hate her but I can’t. Sohye was trained to be an actress but not a singer/dancer, in my eyes she was never (fit to be) a competitor in the show.

I’ve always thought Mnet used Sohye to boost the popularity of PD101. Because no matter how much you like/hate her, you still have to watch the show in order to do either of that. Her presence made people watch the show, because when you like her, you’d like to see how much she improved; when you hate her, you’d like to see how much she failed.

We know Sohye tried, but for me she just doesn’t seem to fit to be an idol (at least at this stage). However I sure will like to see her in the future, in k-dramas, as an actress. :)
