I'm curious (when am I ever not?). Which kind(s) of comments do you usually write? If you don't write comments, which kind(s) of comments do you usually receive?

Me? I think of myself as numbers 2 (Long-Winded), 3 (Nonsensical) and 7 (Truly Interested). First, I at making summaries so I generally make long comments. Second, sometimes, I usually make uh...jokey comments that aren't really that funny. Third, most of the time, I'm usually interested in what I read so I take the time to comment on mistakes (if any are major), the story itself and some ideas that are floating around in my crazy mind (I still can't get over my dream about Fa Mulan—from the movie—as a spy trying to persuade a doctor on a ship, who just so happens to have an evil bodyguard working for the enemy, who is capable of treating Pompe disease ... Please don't ask me what kind of disease that is because even I forgot.)

Sure, it says blog comments but it can also be done on other comments, can't it? I just wanted to share it to other people. I know others mean well when they comment, “Update soon!” But sometimes, those kinds of comments get a bit boring and difficult to respon. In that case, I want to help others avoid that. I used to do that too and for a while, I thought it was right. But then I saw these kinds of comments popping up, even after one author was saying she needed to go on a hiatus for some personal reason. It seems selfish. Don't you think so?

Oh, look! Is that a butterfly? Butterfly, butterfly, fly away... Ugh! Barney, why?
