TRAINEE BACKGROUND [ ♦ ] // During her trainee days, Yojeong never actually asked for extra help from others nor does she need it. She often helps other trainees that has difficulties in choreographies. Whenever a trainee is getting stressed over a dance move or just couldn't get it right, Yojeong offers to help with a smile. Between the female trainees, Yojeong is known as their ideal type if she were a guy because she's so kind and gentle towards the girls. Instead of finding it awkward, Yojeong fully accepts it and understand why. She often jokes around with the male trainees saying they should act like her if they wanted to score themselves a girl.

// Yojeong's isn't naturally talented in singing as she is in dancing so she often gets the pitches wrong and her voice often breaks. It could also be said she's tone deaf, but Yojeong manages to work hard enough to fix her problems. She can't be seen as a good singer even until now but she could still sing and that's the basic part. Surprisingly, she enjoys rapping and listens to a bunch of hip hop songs. Her vocal coach recommended her to try out rapping and so she did a bunch of rapping covers and got high praises for them. In the end, she secured the place as one of the rappers of the group.

// For the past few years of training, Yojeong manages to do well enough to stay out of the coaches' radar. She doesn't get into trouble like some other trainees but she's not the teacher's pet either. Even though she often gets yelled at by the choreographer for playing around during dance practices, she could be seen as the choreographer's assistant. Even though she could feel a few glares of envy by other fellow trainees, she ignores them and keeps positive thoughts in her mind. She went through the three years without problem.

// People had said a few times before how Yojeong never gets angry. That was an exaggeration, of course. But whenever she is angry, she'd keep quiet to herself. Her mind is very flexible as any suggestion goes with her so she rarely fights with anyone. Instead, she expands and elaborates people's suggestions. Since Yojeong communicates well with people, she easily gets anyone to work with her and change people's minds. This often helps her by making people do small favors for her. Yojeong especially makes boys do small favors for her since she finds it easier to talk to them. She's very good at influencing people's minds so she is often given work that has to do with convincing people and leading the group. Yojeong, though, doesn't like taking responsibilities so she often pushes away the offer to become a leader. As easily as she warms up and play around with boys, Yojeong can be slightly awkward and formal with girls. It's hard to become close with them, in Yojeong's case because they're more sensible and sensitive.

// Yojeong doesn't stick to one thing very often. She'd have a hard time following people during training because they would have to revise the same thing over and over. She often gets bored as soon as she memorized something so she often slack off from training. Most of the time she gets yelled at but she couldn't help it. Even when people would think she's focusing, she's most probably not. Yojeong is always the last to memorize the lyrics even when she's the first to catch up with the choreography. Because of this, Yojeong slacks off from choreography practice and always plays around by dancing to new songs but she gets serious when it comes to vocal practice.

// Yojeong is often rough and loud around boys. She jokes around with them a lot but she's very gentle when it comes to girls. She speaks softly and acts very polite. Even if she manages to become closer with a few girls, she still talks less but is still great at cracking jokes. If Yojeong often asks boys to do her small favors like lifting her things, she'd do the small favors when it comes to girls. It's known to be really easy to warm up and trust Yojeong with everything. Whenever Yojeong sees a girl getting unwanted attention from boys, she would immediately go over and save the girl. She finds some girls soft and needs to be protected at all cost.

// Although most people finds Yojeong endearing, she could be very blunt. She's very straightforward and she isn't afraid of pointing out other people's mistakes. A few of her friends find that helpful but some finds it annoying. This part of hers often gets her in arguments usually with boys. Yojeong often thinks she's right and most of the time, she is. She absolutely hates it when people say she's wrong without a good reason. It's hard to get her mad but when she is angry, she'd start pointing out every flaw that person has in their personality. Yojeong's friends who has seen this side of her finds her scary. Boys has always known this side of hers since she's not gentle around boys as she is around girls. The boys has known her to be sarcastic and some finds her funny. Until now this side of hers is debated whether it's a good or bad point.

// The good point in Yojeong is that she rarely ever gets frustrated. When people around her are having a hard time, she would be the one bringing the positive vibe back. Yojeong believes that a work is harder to be done if one gets frustrated. So, she's often calm whenever she just can't seem to get something right. Although her way of calming down could be a bit of a trouble. She would walk out of the room and would ignore everyone around her and then she would come back when her heart doesn't feel heavy anymore. She handles stress easily thanks to her seniors and coaches when she was an athlete during her school days. Her coach knew, despite being cheerful and an athlete, she's an introvert that doesn't do well if she hangs out with people for too long. Her coach had given her a lot time to be alone and taught her ways to calm down. Even until now she's thankful and doesn't regret being an athlete despite changing routes when she grew older.

BACKGROUND [ ♦ ]  Yojeong had all the attention ever since she was born. She was the last child and the only daughter of the family. Her oldest brother, Jaesung, was 6 years old older than her but their relationship has never been awkward. Although she'd play a lot more with her second oldest brother, Jaeyoung. She never had trouble with her family and friends. She plays sports very well and her teaches saw she had potential and trained her a lot. The teachers at her school are familiar with her and knows her well. Most of the times, it's because Yojeong's brother was famous in her school. He was known as one of the best athletes in her school and he's always friendly. Yojeong follows her brother's footsteps and also became known as an athlete in her school. The older male seniors get along well with her because she finds it easy to talk to them since she's always playing with her brothers all her life.

Yojeong could say everyone in her family were good at sports. Her oldest brother weren't active in sports when he was in school because he had heart problems. When he was finally cured, he started playing basketball often with his friends. Meanwhile, her other brother was known as the coaches' favorite. A lot said Yojeong is similar to Jaeyoung. Their charms and way of joking is the same except for Jaeyoung had always been more outgoing and more of a flirt. They are both good at every sport they try in but in the end, Jaeyoung ends up focusing in rugby. He used to be a runner but now he had to gain more weight for the rough sport so he couldn't run as fast anymore. It used to be Jaeyoung in the family but now, Yojeong is known as the 'lightning runner'.

Despite her active role in school, at home Yojeong doesn't go out often. She doesn't hang out with her friends and spends her time watching TV. Yojeong found music interesting but she knew she couldn't sing well. Her parents never seem to find anything wrong with it and let her be. Yojeong is always so bored and even at school she doesn't show interest in anything. She only do sports because her teachers ask her to. She's good at it and she knows it. Getting medals for winning races is exciting but running all the time became boring. When Yojeong entered high school, there was a dancing club. The club barely had members. At the time, Yojeong wanted to escape from the teachers that were asking her to join the tracks club. And so Yojeong decided to try out for dancing. Surprisingly, Yojeong follows the moves well and her seniors immediately scouted her. By then, Yojeong found her new talent. Yojeong also decides, dancing is hard to be boring because she can dance to new songs and always learn new choreographies. It was perfect.
 
When Yojeong mentioned about auditioning, everyone was wary. They knew Yojeong dances often when she joined the dance club at her school but they never thought she was serious about her passion. No one tried to stop her as Yojeong rarely ever ask for anything and she was always lifeless whenever she's at home. But no one thought she'd continue being a trainee even after three years because everyone expected her to be bored as usual. If her family members were to be honest, they were disappointed Yojeong stopped playing sports. She was good in a lot of sports and she was known to be a good runner. Her father used to wish for her to become the country's athlete but in the end, Yojeong's family members weren't worried about her anymore and store all hopes for her to debut soon. Yojeong's brother Jaeyoung, though, had always supported her. Since he was always active in sports, he knew how dangerous it could be for her and was pleased when she stopped sports when she entered high school. While everyone was questioning her, Jaeyoung was always pushing her forward for her dream.

The first person that Yojeong told about her dream to become an idol was Eunji, who was a popular idol in APink. Yojeong had asked for Eunji to recommend her a company to audition for but she didn't want to join in a popular known company because it'll be a hassle to become a sister group of a popular group. Eunji asked around and listed off a few companies that held auditions at the current time - it wasn't much work as things like those could be asked while having a conversation with another singer. Yojeong then thought trying out for a newly opened company would be scary since no one knew whether the managements for the company is good or not. So instead, Yojeong decides to join a company made by veteran singers since they would know more how the idol world would work. Yojeong practiced on what to show off for weeks - although it's mostly spent on her practicing singing. As much of a good dancer she can be, she's supposed to at least be able to sing. On Yojeong's brothers' day off, they went to send her for the private audition. It was a long hour drive but in the end it was worth it because Yojeong got accepted. She knew she shouldn't be too happy because they could ask her to leave if she doesn't do as well as the other trainees especially if she doesn't work on her singing. But with her friends and family's support, she managed to get through the stress.

FAMILY [ ♦ ]

// Father, Jung Hyunsang ♦ 58 ♦ alive ♦ officer ♦ strict | brilliant |thoughtful ♦ Yojeong used to have a close relationship with her father but as she grow older, she got distant with her own father. Ever since she was younger, Yojeong had always admired how her father easily handles problems and reads people's personalities. As she grew older, Yojeong starts to realise how she got her personality from her father from the way she handles things to the way she reads people.
// Mother, Han Minjung ♦ age ♦ 55 ♦ middle school teacher ♦ patient | loving | soft-hearted ♦ Her mother has always been the closest family member to Yojeong. She tells her mother everything that happened at school and what the teachers said even until the day she became a trainee. She often calls her mother but whenever she isn't, she'd message her mother asking about her day. Yojeong's mother is the only sense of comfort Yojeong has so it was a bit hard for her to live in Seoul without her mother.
// Older brother, Jung Jaesung ♦ 27 ♦ alive ♦ lecturer ♦ laid-back | introverted | observant ♦ Their has never been a bother. Yojeong is very close with her brother and they often talk about the most ridiculous things. Her brother often jokes around which Yojeong would reply by saying they're lame but in the end they'd both end up laughing together. Since her brother had always been more matured than her, they rarely ever fight. The only thing they'd argue about is when Yojeong blames him for finishing her yoghurt drink in the fridge. When she started her training, Jaesung often visits her whenever he has to go somewhere nearby for work.
// Older brother, Jung Jaeyoung ♦ 23 ♦ alive♦ studying in university ♦ silly | outgoing | sporty ♦ Unlike Yojeong's oldest brother, Jaeyoung is childish despite being older than her. He's a very fun person but that makes him more of a troublemaker. Yojeong was never fond of the way her older brother would change his girlfriend often and how he hangs out with his friends more than he plays with her. Since she rarely goes out, she looks up to Jaeyoung whenever it comes to playing around but ends up being too similar to him. Even his friends mentioned about Yojeong being the smaller and quieter version of him.

FRIENDS [ ♦ ]

// Close friends, Song Yeonjae ♦ 21 ♦ studying in college | part-timer in cafe ♦ clumsy | clueless | caring ♦ they have been best friends since they met each other in school when they were 7. A lot of people were surprised how long their friendship had lasted ♦ they had always been total opposites but they worked well together. While Yojeong has all control in her personality and emotions, Yeonjae needed someone to help her with it. But in the other end, Yeonjae is the one that takes care of Yojeong and advices her to eat her vegetables like a mother.
// Friends, Jung Eunji ♦ 21 ♦ singer in APink ♦ bubbly  | funny | supportive ♦ they knew each other when they were in Busan. their parents were close friends and often visits each other's houses which resulted in them getting to know each other.  ♦ they could be said to grow up together. Yojeong doesn't play well with people that aren't boys but she's comfortable with Eunji and jokes in the same way. They don't meet each other often now because since Eunji debuted, she became busy with practices and dramas. But Eunji was the one that supported Yojeong most when she first said she wanted to become an idol.

Kyungtak was the one who always gave her advices and calmed her down whenever she was looking stressed or scared. Until this day, Yojeong became a patient person that calms others and she learnt all of it from him. In fact, he understands that Yojeong needed a lot of alone time and often gave her time to clear her mind alone.

He had paid attention to her since the first time she danced because he knew Yojeong had potential. Yojeong converses easily with him and they joke around with each other a lot. Minkwang often yells at Yojeong for playing around but it was never serious because everyone there knew how easily Yojeong memorizes the choreography.

PERSONALITY [ ♦ ] // Jaebum is the typical bad boy type. The one that looks like he would skip classes in school and teases girls. He used to be like that. Now he's an idol and he has to be proper. It was hard for him because he wasn't calm enough and gets frustrated easily. He doesn't apologize and he doesn't treat people well. As much bad traits he has, he still has his good sides. Jaebum cares about people a lot. He gets worried easily and looks out for his friends and group members despite not acting like it. He used to be careless and often gets jealous over other people's achievements but now he's grown so much and has to take care of six other people in his group - Jaebum is a different person. He still gets angry, sure. But he doesn't blow up as often now. He tries to be more understanding even though he's having a hard time. Stress gets to him easily and being called a leader doesn't help his condition.

// Jaebum is flirty by nature. He acts chic and gets the girls' attention, sure. But sometimes it seems as if he doesn't know how to treat a girl. If Yojeong is the prince charming that's always gentle towards girls, Jaebum is the opposite. Dating isn't allowed until a few more years but that doesn't stop Jaebum from getting other female idol's numbers. He's always acting cool to attract their attention but when he does - it doesn't do much because Jaebum isn't good at having normal conversations with girls. Despite how suave he acts, in reality, those who's familiar with him knows how ridiculous he can be.

RELATIONSHIP [ ♦ ] Based on their personalities, they were total opposites. Yojeong had always gotten along easier with people that are the opposites of her. While Jaebum gets angry, Yojeong was the one who could calm Jaebum down with a few words. In fact, out of everyone, Yojeong is the person Jaebum is the most afraid to argue with because Yojeong reads Jaebum like an open book. They still argues though - but playfully. The type of bickering couples have over the smallest things. Since Yojeong likes to think she's always right, whenever she is the one wrong, Jaebum continuesly teases her because he rarely ever gets the chance to. People around them had said they were a good couple because Yojeong could control Jaebum and brings out his good sides. Yojeong calls out for what Jaebum did wrong and tells him why it's his fault and how he should apologize to it. At first Jaebum was embarrassed as he felt like a kid but then he slowly he listened to her and now he's much calmer than before. They chat with each other often over ridiculous things like their hundres of piercings and it's all comfortable - Yojeong finds it great, really. They weren't really dating because rookies aren't allowed to date, but honestly what they have is just one confession away from being lovers - as said by Jinyoung.

HISTORY [ ♦ ] In a radio show Yojeong mentioned about Got7's JB being interesting and his style looked pretty cool. Coincidently, 5Crystals were promoting at the same time as Got7. Just like any other rookies groups, they'd go to the other idol's waiting room to greet them. When they greeted Got7 in their waiting room Jackson mentioned about what Yojeong said during the radio show and that Jaebum got excited. Yojeong replied by teasingly smirking and shooting with her fingers towards Jaebum but after she got out of the waiting room she was dying of embarrassment. At the end of the music show where idols get together on the stage Got7 decided to stand beside 5Crystals and Yojeong could sense Jaebum looking at her for a few times and honestly - Yojeong wanted to look towards Jaebum's direction too but she's good at holding herself back. They start to see each other more often during other music shows and Jaebum decided to start a conversation first. A few short talks turn into long conversations and soon they start to exchange phone numbers. When Yojeong first messaged Jaebum she expected the conversation to be awkward - and it was, but they still end up chatting until late at night. Their relationship escelated a lot after that.

OTHER [ ♦ ] Jaebum and Yojeong doesn't meet up as often as they would like because well - they are the latest sensations. Even if Jaebum went out he'll be easily recognized because of his face moles so it's hard to hide honestly. Yojeong did recommend Jaebum to hide his moles using make up and even taught him how when she visited Got7's waiting room during a music show. The rest of the members got used to Yojeong dropping by but they still tease the two endlessly. In the end they do manage to sneak out to eat together at quiet places from time to time.

PERSONALITY [ ♦ ] //Seungyoon has always been blunt with his every word and action. It makes things easier because he gets straight to the point but sometimes his opinions are just plain hurtful. Although some feelings might get hurt from his opinions, it makes him easier to understand as a person. He doesn't seem to care much about his image but he's actually very careful to not stir up any bad news from the media. Despite being the leader of his group, Seungyoon had always seem to be like a solo person. In fact, he could be successful even if he went by himself but he still needed companions by his side to race after the same dream.

// Seungyoon jokes around a lot but it doesn't seem like it because his way of joking is saying something in a deadpan manner. Sometimes people finds it funny but sometimes it comes out as out of place and just plain awkward. He gets along with people easily when it comes to formal manners and he does know a lot of people but he doesn't keep friendships for long.

// In the past, Seungyoon had financial problems and he used to be a rebel. But then he saw his own mother in trouble and worked hard in school and in his dreams. Now people call him a genius. Seungyoon doesn't deny it nor does he gets proud over it but all the things he experienced in the past made him into a mature person. But all of that had made him detached. He had a hard time connecting with people emotionally and gaining trust.

RELATIONSHIP [ ♦ ] What Seungyoon and Yojeong had doesn't stand out. They weren't loud as a couple but it's not that they're awkward either. They have this mutual understanding that doesn't need to be said with much words. Yojeong wasn't the type to like humurous guys that cracks jokes all over the place and Seungyoon is just perfect. They often have quiet conversations together. Sometimes other people can't seem to join in their conversations because it's just them in their own world and when they're not talking, they'd just be next to each other in a comfortable silence. People doesn't seem to understand how they work but it's not all complicated. It's simple - too simple, perhaps, that people can't seem to understand.
