// People had said a few times before how Aeri never gets angry. That was an exaggeration, of course. But whenever she is angry, she'd keep quiet to herself. Her mind is very flexible as any suggestion goes with her so she rarely fights with anyone. Instead, she expands and elaborates people's suggestions. Since Aeri communicates well with people, she easily gets anyone to work with her and change people's minds. This often helps her by making people do small favors for her. Aeri especially makes boys do small favors for her since she finds it easier to talk to them. She's very good at influencing people's minds so she is often given work that has to do with convincing people and leading the group. Aeri, though, doesn't like taking responsibilities so she often pushes away the offer to become a leader. But for her upcoming group debut it seems to be a different case because the company management managed to convince her it would be good for the group if she was the one leading. Aeri was very wary because she knew there was already another member that everyone expects to become the leader. But if she takes up the role as the leader, the group could work easier in Korea. Thinking about that, she accepts.

// Aeri often stays by herself and plays with her phone. She looks unapproachable and cold but once someone tries to have a conversation with her, she'd always have the nicest smile on her face. She's usually very formal and polite at first meeting but once she gets comfortable, people will realise her joking style revolves around sarcasm and sharp remarks. It's usually funny because she knows where the line of being funny and being rude is placed at. Despite the y concept she shows on stage, Aeri is actually a total introvert that enjoys her time alone and hates being in big groups. Usually whenever she is alone, Aeri would is always seen to be playing with her phone when she's actually writing something. It's either a poem or a story in Korean or English, Aeri loves writing. Once she got scouted to become a trainee in YGEX, she writes lyrics more often. Aeri isn't a pro in singing as she is in rapping so she enjoys having people to sing her song. Sometimes when she listens to someone singing, she would write a song that would sound good for the person's voice.

// As she is one of the oldest and most experienced trainee there, Aeri really acts like it. She's comfortable with speaking with anyone in the company either the trainers, choreographer or CEO. Whenever a younger trainee comes to her for help even when she's resting, Aeri would give a big smile of reassurance and help out no matter how long it takes. Which is a bit ironic considering she is the laziest when it comes to practice and often slacks off once she memorizes something.

// The good point in Aeri is that she rarely ever gets frustrated. When people around her are having a hard time, she would be the one bringing the positive vibe back. Aeri believes that a work is harder to be done if one gets frustrated. So, she's often calm whenever she just can't seem to get something right. Although her way of calming down could be a bit of a trouble. She would walk out of the room and would ignore everyone around her and then she would come back when her heart doesn't feel heavy anymore. She handles stress easily thanks to her senior singers that advice her during her solo debut training. Jiyong - being a professional singer for years who used to be her boyfriend but now her ex, especially taught her a lot of things.

// Although most people finds Aeri endearing, she could be very blunt. She's very straightforward and she isn't afraid of pointing out other people's mistakes. A few of her friends find that helpful but some finds it annoying. This part of hers often gets her in arguments usually with boys. Aeri often thinks she's right and most of the time, she is. She absolutely hates it when people say she's wrong without a good reason. It's hard to get her mad but when she is angry, she'd start pointing out every flaw that person has in their personality. Aeri's friends who has seen this side of her finds her scary. Boys has always known this side of hers since she's not gentle around boys as she is around girls. The boys has known her to be sarcastic and some finds her funny. But what's final is that no one wants to get into a real fight with her.

// The thing about Aeri is that, she would only help someone if they ask her for help. She would help if it seem necessary but when it comes to emotions in any kind, she's a bit blunt and cold with that. Even if she sees someone crying in the bathroom, she would totally pretend she didn't see a thing. If her friend complains about her boyfriend she would say that breaking up will solve the problem. If her friend did get sad over a break up, she won't get it because breaking up doesn't feel that sad. Aeri likes writing deep and inspiring lyrics, but it's a total contrast to her personality. She never got sad over breaking up. Jiyong and Aeri dated for quite a while, but Aeri was honest and said it didn't feel right. In fact, Aeri told Jiyong he could write a song for her now because she's breaking up with him for good. Jiyong laughed at that saying Aeri really was emotionless. but they are still on good terms even now.

// Even if the former leader of the group doesn't seem fond of her, Aeri ignores it. She knows the member will have a change of heart soon anyway. So, she doesn't deal with it. Aeri treats people the way people treats her so if the former leader treats her coldly, she would do the same and wouldn't even look at the member's direction. It isn't a good way to handle the situation, Aeri knows that. The former leader probably felt upset with the change of position. But Aeri doesn't care anyway and it is selfish to do that. She knows but she does it anyway because it makes her feel better somehow because it wasn't her fault. She should be friendlier with the situation but she won't do that if the members keep looking at her as if it was her fault.

// Whenever Aeri is proved to be the wrong one in an argument, she would honestly say it hurt her ego. Aeri isn't shy in showing off what she's good at. Nor is she afraid to show her thoughts. People finds it obnoxious because it always seem like she's trying to steal the spotlight and maybe she is, sometimes. Because when she's good at something, she knows it and will always try to make other people know it too. Once people acknowledges a talent she has, then she would stop. Doing so opens up many chances for Aeri because she got the offer to do a solo debut. But now, she needs to learn to share the stage and Aeri always look so bored whenever she's training.

⟪ BACKGROUND ⟫

// Aeri had all the attention ever since she was born. Being the only daughter and the last child, she gets spoiled. Aeri doesn't act like it though because she doesn't like talking to people much including her own family. She smiles and laughs a lot and she shows off her high grades to her family but that's all she did. Surprisingly, Aeri didn't have a single interest in music and doesn't even know the latest singers when she was younger. Her best subject was anything that has to do with languages and writing. When she turned 12, she first got interested in idols, and soon, music. It was a weird way to be inspired but before she knows it, she starts changing lyrics to popular songs and records herself singing on her phone.

// The dream started like that and it grew when she entered 14. Despite entering the dance club, it was music that caught her attention instead of the dancing. She became interested to know more about different types of music and while she was on the internet, the genre hiphop caught her. She loves writing and she tried writing her own raps. It started out with funny lyrics but she continued even after a year and it became her real interest. So when she turned 15, her birthday wish was to become audition for a company. Her family were shocked because she always shows off her good grades but becoming an idol was kept as a secret by her and they never knew. Thinking it won't hurt to try, her parents allowed her and her brothers drove long hours to where the audition takes place the week after for her to audition. She planned for months on what to show off and it didn't go wrong. She did her best and got accepted.

// She had only trained for two years and a half before she got called by her trainer saying she's should start planning for her solo debut. It was confusing and Aeri didn't take it seriously at first. But once everything was confirmed, she worked the hardest she ever did for the past years. The debut was a success considering she's under a popular company - but she did well and caught people's eyes for doing the y concept well despite being only 17 at the time. To attract more attention, she makes comebacks with her own self-written songs and when she was 18, she started dating Jiyong secretly. Jiyong gifted her a song and it was made as one of her tracks in her mini album. Their relationship didn't last longer than 4 months because Aeri didn't feel it was right. After years of becoming a successful artist, and making a bunch of collaborations with her favourite artists, it all falls down once her legs gave in.

// Aeri can be very stubborn with things because likes to think that she knows herself well. Despite her confident persona, Aeri has a bit of a complex with her short height and she's not fond of it. She wears heels all the time ever since she entered highschool. Her school shoes made her short, so she had custom made shoes that had thick soles. When she is outside, she isn't afraid to wear high heels. Once she made her debut, no matter how difficult the dance is, she would insist to perform it in high  heels. A few had adviced her over it on how she could hurt herself or exhaust her legs. Or that - she's gonna regret it once she grows old. But Aeri would fight them off saying she knows her own body and her limits. In the end, Aeri pushes herself too much over a small thing and regrets it. She twisted her foot once, but was adviced by the doctor saying she's been too hard for so many years, and had to stop her career for at least two years.

// Aeri didn't wait for longer that than that. After two years of living like a normal citizen, she comes strolling into the YG building back confidently. During her second trainee days, Aeri wasn't just trained to polish her talents but also to polish her personality because of her greed for the stage. Slowly she learns to be better at teamwork though it was a bit hard for her considering the rest of the chosen trainees weren't fond of her, especially the former leader.

- Since she's on the short side, Aeri always makes sure the shoes she wears are at least 3 inches high. It hurts her feet sometimes and she gets adviced for it but she always says she knows her own limits and it's okay.
- She bites her nails a lot so she did nail art to stop herself
- She probably have earphones on most of the time even when she's not listening to anything
- She doesn't look at people straight in the eyes when she's talking because it feels uncomfortable
- She fiddles with her fingers a lot when she's talking so she often looks distracted
- She gives nicknames to everyone by shortening their names (e.g: Jiyong will be Ji)
- Her lucky number is 6
- She absolutely hates sweating even if she likes dancing
- She doesn't have any Busan dialect despite living there her for her whole life
- She absolutely hates sour or bitter things - she doesn't even drink coffee
- She has a special playlist for k-hiphop and names it 'cool jamms' based on the rapper called cjamm
- She's a totally picky eater and doesn't eat vegetables very well
- She does stretching before dancing and makes sure everyone do it too

→ Father, Min Hyunsang ⋮ 60 ⋮ ♦ officer ♦ strict | brilliant |thoughtful ♦ Aeri used to have a close relationship with her father but as she grow older, she got distant with her own father. Ever since she was younger, Aeri had always admired how her father easily handles problems and reads people's personalities. As she grew older, Aeri starts to realise how she got her personality from her father from the way she handles things to the way she reads people.
→ Mother, Han Minjung ⋮ 57 ⋮ middle school teacher ♦ patient | loving | soft-hearted ♦ Her mother has always been the closest family member to Aeri. She tells her mother everything that happened at school and what the teachers said even until the day she became a trainee. She often calls her mother but whenever she isn't, she'd message her mother asking about her day. Aeri's mother is the only sense of comfort Aeri has so it was a bit hard for her to live in Seoul without her mother.
→ Brother, Min Jaesung ⋮ 30 ⋮ lecturer ♦ laid-back | introverted | observant ♦ Their has never been a bother. Aeri is very close with her brother and they often talk about the most ridiculous things. Her brother often jokes around which Aeri would reply by saying they're lame but in the end they'd both end up laughing together. Since her brother had always been more matured than her, they rarely ever fight. The only thing they'd argue about is when Aeri blames him for finishing her yoghurt drink in the fridge. When she started her training, Jaesung often visits her whenever he has to go somewhere nearby for work.
→ Brother, Min Jaeyoung ⋮ 26 ⋮ athlete coach ♦ silly | outgoing | sporty ♦ Unlike Aeri's oldest brother, Jaeyoung is childish despite being older than her. He's a very fun person but that makes him more of a troublemaker. Aeri was never fond of the way her older brother would change his girlfriend often and how he hangs out with his friends more than he plays with her. Since she rarely goes out, she looks up to Jaeyoung whenever it comes to playing around but ends up being too similar to him. Even his friends mentioned about Aeri being the smaller and quieter version of him.

→ Best friend, Song Yeonjae ⋮ 23 ⋮ studying in university | part-timer in cafe ♦ clumsy | clueless | caring ♦ they have been best friends since they met each other in school when they were 7. A lot of people were surprised how long their friendship had lasted ♦ they had always been total opposites but they worked well together. While Aeri has all control in her personality and emotions, Yeonjae needed someone to help her with it. But in the other end, Yeonjae is the one that takes care of Aeri and advices her to eat her vegetables like a mother.
→ Childhood friend, Han Eunji ⋮ 21 ⋮ studying in college | babysitter ♦ bubbly  | funny | supportive ♦ they knew each other when they were in Busan. their parents were close friends and often visits each other's houses which resulted in them getting to know each other.  ♦ they could be said to grow up together. Eunji is boyish and easy to get along with.

→ Rap coach, Im Minkwang ⋮ 30 ⋮ rapper ⋮ cool ⋮ they treat each other just like mentor and his junior. Minkwang helps Aeri improve her rapping and they don't talk much about anything other than that.
→ Giriboy's senior, Moon Swings (Jonathan Moon idk his korean name sorry) ⋮ 30 ⋮ rapper ⋮ he's a self-proclaimed father in law of Aeri since he's dating Giriboy that is like his own son. They have a funny relationship and nothing they talk about is serious.
→ Ex-boyfriend/close friend,  Kwon Jiyong : 27 : idol rapper : dorky | passionate | prideful : when they were still in a relationship, people barely called it that. With Aeri, relationships aren't really something where she suddenly becomes doting over someone. But for Jiyong, he's a romantic that would prefer something deeper and passionate. He liked Aeri, sure. But while being in a relationship with her, he realises she isn't what he would want as a lover, but more as a close friend. And so they broke up with good terms. Jiyong has written a few songs for her within the short period of them dating, and even wrote one from when they broke up but it was never officially released in any way. They still spend time together and go out a lot, but along with other group of friends. Rather than thinking it would be awkward if they went with just the two of them because they were ex-lovers, it's more because Aeri doesn't really hold long conversations and it might get boring for Jiyong. Aeri isn't the type to go out much but during her hiatus, she's pretty much holed up in her room. She lives with her parents at the time and Jiyong visits whenever he's not busy or was passing by. Her parents are totally into Jiyong's charm, and her brothers, into his fame. Everyone hopes for them to start a relationship again but no one actually pushes them for it because Aeri is comfortable staying as just friends with Jiyong. When Aeri started her training again as a group member, Jiyong drops by the practice studio to check out her condition because he knows how stubborn Aeri is and he doesn't want her to push herself too hard with her condition, although she already healed completely. Although instead of showing up unannounced, he would usually ask Aeri about when her breaks are and meet her quietly outside so he won't stir any situations. People know about their relationship with each other so they're very careful when they're meeting in public so no one would misunderstand. They meet more often than her other friends thought they would so rather than calling them as just friends, they're actually really close friends.

I wasn't sure on how long the character became a soloist and how old she's supposed to be.

I don't think I've placed enough of them and wrote too many good traits but I'm still kinda confused on how the character is supposed to be around the former leader character.

⟪ RELATIONSHIP ⟫

Even when they were dating, it seems almost as if they were just good friends. Both of them weren't very romantic people so just leaning against each other while playing with their own phones was comfortable enough. They talk a lot when they hang out together and just rest. Unlike other couples, they don't go out outside for dates because both would be too lazy to walk. Sometimes they just end up making songs together but never actually let anyone listen to it.

⟪ HISTORY ⟫

Them meeting was totally in a random place. At the time, Aeri was just going to Show Me The Money for her juniors who happen to be joining the show. Hanbin and Bobby did well in the show but honestly watching them perform was an excuse because Aeri has been a fan of Giriboy for a while. For the second crowd performance, Giriboy seemed to lose all confidence and as a fan, it does make her feel bad. Especially around underground rappers and their fans, they weren't nice with their words. Aeri wasn't either but at least she doesn't mindlessly insult people. After the performances were over, Aeri managed to go backstage because the guards recognizes her and assumed she was there for the YG trainees. Originally, she was. But the first participant of the show she saw was Giriboy and well, why not tell him to cheer up while she's at it. Aeri was surprised that Giriboy recongnized  her even after she was gone from the idol scene for such a long time. Their conversation ends quickly and when Aeri gets to Hanbin and Bobby, she asks for their help to get Giriboy's number. The second time Aeri goes to watch their performance, it was Giriboy's last and like last time, at the end she goes to talk to him. Aeri expected their conversation to be awkward - and it was. But they ended up talking a lot anyway and in the end, without Hanbin or Bobby's help, Aeri got Hong Siyoung's number by herself.

- they used to get teased by Siyoung's friends under Just Music but it didn't last long because the both of them don't react to it
- Siyoung's friend, cjamm (real name, Sungmin), finds out about Aeri's khiphop playlist and always looks at her in disappointment
