Personality: She's a cheerful girl, so cheerful that she acts like a 10 year old. But! Around strangers or people she's rarely meets, she gets silent like a kid getting detention. Why she's full of life, you ask? Well, she gets stressed easily, and if she's too stressed, she'll get weak and gets sick. So, to overcome that, she made sure to has a smile plastered on her face all the time so stress won't attack her easily. She could get distracted with serious situations and get stressed when the tension was too thick. When that happens, try to make her smile and get the cheerful girl back to herself.

She's also an observant girl, she looks at someone not only from their appearance, but their personality, background, attitude and such. She likes to know more about others she's curious about, so she can get all the information about that person that she wants. The funny thing is, she wants to know a lot of things about people, but Haeyeon herself is a secretive person. Not many people knows about her whole life except for Kai, Taeyeon and Wishful Girls. Since she also gets nervous easily especially in front of MANY cameras, and to get over that, she made herself a brave-hearted girl. When she's nervous in front of interviewers, she'll make sure she answers a lot to hide her nervousness. She talks a lot in front of cameras to hide it too, or just become silent and stay at the side so people won't be focused on her. That's how she hide her nervousness, but sometimes her even courage can't help her. Sometimes, if she gets too nervous where her courage can't help hide it, you can easily sense it by her slightly shaky voice and stutters.

Background: She didn't have the perfect childhood, but not a sob one either. The moment she was born, she was diagnosed with a weak heart, and needed a heart transplant. Taeyeon, her beloved sister was just 3 years at that time, but she new what her little sister was suffering. Fortunately, someone just died, and that person had registered as an organ donor. Lucky for Haeyeon, the donor's heart was suitable for the little Haeyeon, and the surgery was done immediately. The good thing was, Haeyeon managed to live without any problems with her heart, just that she can be too stressed or she could get weak or sick easily. Then again, she was happy just as she is, not worrying about her heart anymore. Also, she found herself immersed into the passion of music, thus making her forget about her sickness that was healing.

She studied at Incheon Elemantary, Seoul International Middle School and finally graduated at School of Performing Arts. During middle school, she learned English but since it was kind of hard, she finally managed to at least pass her English test, though not fluent in the said language. She also learned a bit of Japanese from her sister that learned from her fellow members, Seohyun and Sooyoung. You can say she knew EXO's Kai since high school, and they became closer since Taeyeon brought her to meet EXO during their Wolf comeback. And, she was dragged into BigHit company after her graduation unlike Kai who debuted during their senior year.

Trainee Life: Since she first stepped into this industry, she never failed to impress her trainers with her vocals. Although not as amazing as her sister, she still could handle high notes well. Her dance moves are good too, she can do various types of dance except for jazz. But, to impress her trainers wasn't easy. She was willing to spent 2 or 3 hours longer at the company to train more. Because of that, many of the trainers didn't like her much because they thought she was just being a show-off, when she's actually not. She was bullied rather often to do other trainees works, and that only raised her traininng hours and lessen her rest.

But, due to her passion for music, she sacrificed every until her last drop of blood and get through all of this even without others help. She often cry to release the stress during her midnight training hours, the exact time when no one where at her building. She would either cry alone or call either her sister or Xiumin or let out her feelings. Well, only those two knows her life as a trainee, even though for Xiumin, he knows two years of it. Determination built up in her to make sure she makes out as an idol and show every other trainees that only hard work can help you in trainee life.

The two Kims went to EXO's training room and met EXO themselves, but EXO was too engrosed into practising their choreography to even realize that the Kim Sisters are there. After finishing, they heard claps from two persons, and when they looked into the mirror, they were shocked to see their sunbae there. After greeting them formally, Taeyeon had to excuse herself because she got a call from her manager to go to the meeting rooms immediately. And yes, she left her dear sister with EXO. A few seconds she left the room, she contacted Baekhyun and told him to take care of her sister for a while and she'll come back to pick her up.

Awkwardness filled the room. Both sides didn't want to start first, but it seems that Xiumin managed to break the silence. "Well, let's seat down and talk while we wait for...?" Rianne, realizing this quickly said her name. "Haeyeon. Kim Haeyeon." "...ah, Hayeon's sister to comeback." All of them followed the oldest's words and sat down in a circle. "So, can you introduce yourself, Haeyeon-sshi?" Rianne smiled and bowed a bit. "Neh, Kim Haeyeon imnida, but you can call me Haeyeon. And I'm 21 years old this year." Sehun made a quick reaction. "Oh, so you're my noona then!" All of them laughed at Sehun's sudden reaction, but it's true since Sehun is 1 year younger than her.

After a few minutes of talking, Taeyeon texted Baekhyun again and told him to send her beloved forgotten sister to SNSD's training room. Baekhyun wanted to, but he still had to practice on his high notes with Chen. At that very moment, Xiumin volunteered to send her since he doesn't have that much lines in Wolf. And went off the both of them to meet SNSD. Along the way, they talked about each other more and knew that both of them were born on the same date, with the age range of exactly 3 years. As they arrived, Xiumin told Rianne to contact him if she needs any help even though she's from another company. They exchanged phone numbers and right after that, Rianne entered he sister's training room.

How you interact: When they first became friends, it was kind of awkward for both of them because Xiumin is a silent guy, and she's a secretive girl. But eventually, texts and hangouts became a routine for them whenever they had free time. Sometimes, they would have midnight calls before going to sleep. After a year and a half being friends, Xiumin finally confessed a month after holding his feelings. They decided to keep their relationship a secret, so they rarely see each other anymore. Even if they meet, they would act like both of them are just close friends. But they kept the relationship with midnight calls and texts.
