Rereading an unfinished fiction... intense feels.

Do you ever just feel the urge to reread something you started a couple of years ago?

Something that you didn't complete, heck, didn't really get passed the beginning?

And when you do read it, fall absolutely head over heels back in love with the idea, the words already expressed, the true, raw emotions?

That just happened to me.

I had a dream that spurred this story. I still remember it to this day. It was so vivid and detailed. The emotions expressed still capture my heart in the pivotal scene in that dream, the one I had right before waking up, tears in my eyes. I remember documenting it all down, online with my dearest friends, in a book, everywhere I could so I would never forget it. Not that I could, it made itself a space within my mind, coming to the surface now and then.

I decided the best way to deal with it was to write it out. The prologue, deep and meaningful was so damn perfect for my critical ways that I struggled to write a first chapter for some time. When that was finally finished, the second remained not completed, even though it housed all the right thoughts and words. I have no idea why I abandoned it, perhaps it was too hard to write?

All I know is that I just had a dream about the person I had starring in this fiction. Another dream that seemed to pick me up and crush me with emotions I as a writer flourish in. It urged me to get up and open the fiction I had abandoned, it fuelled me to read over that prologue, gave me goosebumps head to toe and made me frozen. And then warmed me completely with that first chapter. Amazing how words -I- wrote, feel like someone else's, and yet so relateable that I react entirely to it.

I need to finish my Taekwoon fiction desperately. I only have six chapters left.

But this story is calling to me. To try and complete that second chapter in the very least. I know though it'll drag me in... heck it already has.

Fictions like this one, they are so rare. Not the content, but the emotion they give me as a writer. I'm sure it's a storyline done over by others. But it's magical I guess. To me, in the very least.

I think I need to step into this story once again...
