APPEARANCE: Her chest-length hazel colored hair is a bit wavy, and slightly clurled at the end. Her eye color matched her hair, a hazel. Not so tall, around 167cm high and weighs 56kg. She dislikes having tattoo or piercings of any kind. She also has dimples on both cheeks. A bit fair, inherted from her parents.

 

STYLE: She mostly wears simple clothings. Pants, shorts, skirts. Shirts are her choice, and sometimes she would wear blouses. Short sleeves is more comfortable for her rather than long sleeves. She dislikes heels, so she prefers flats and sneakers. And sometimes, she would wear a coat or cardigan to protect her from the cold or just complete the fashion of the day.

BACKGROUND: She lost her father due to a car accident when she was 10 years old and was traumatized for around a week. When she reached 12 years old, her mother decided to bring Irene and Rianne back to Korea and live there since their beloved mother can't stay in London, her memories of their father upsets her. After she moved, she entered Seoul International Middle School and learned Korean there. She graduated high school at Seoul Arts High School. And now, she's currently studying at International College of Seoul in culinary major. She's currently in her last year.

 

When she was 7 years old, she got the sixth sense which meant she could see the 'things' everybody feared. She couldn't handle it at first, but after a year, she managed to control it and she doesn't see 'them' often. Sometimes she would see them, and sometimes she had to see them if they wanted her help. The thing is, she inherted that from her grandmother, but her mother and sister didn't get it. She decided to just let it off. And, since then, she always had been calm because only calmness could help her prevent those things from appearing, other than puting her mind and surroundings at ease.

 

Ever since she entered college, her family's finance hadn't been good. She knew as the older sibling, she had to find a way to raise their income. She took a walk from her house, hoping to find an available job nearby. Luck was on her side when she came upon this cafe. She wasn't sure at first, if she wanted to work in a cafe, but she had no choice. So, she talked with her mother about the job application and her mother didn't stop her. She knew that Irene knows what she's doing, and just hoped the best for her daughter. Irene also wanted to help her sister's school, and that was another reason why she wanted to work.

 

LIFESTYLE: Irene lives with her mother and sister near the cafe. She rarely sees her mother though, since she always went to work early in the morning, and leaves her two daughters alone. So, Irene would send her sister to her school first before going to work. And sometimes, she had to leave the cafe earlier if she has classes and her university. But when she doesn't have extra classes, she would be at the cafe and plays her guitar, since the cafe is like her second home.

Usually, when she's off work early, she'd stay and have a little chit chat with the others before going home or have a walk around Seoul or have a date with her cheerful boyfriend. She doesn't really go out at night, Irene would be at home with her sister and play with their white kitten. During work, she'll more likely just be herself, not wanting to force herself to focus on her work only. Sometimes she would serve her drinks herself, if the customer is a regular or someone she knew and have a little chat. Smiling had been her thing everyday, and would always have a small conversation with any of the workers so she won't be bored while doing her work.

PERSONALITY:

As you can see, Irene here ain't the troublemaker type. She's a calm, composed girl that people thinks she's problemless. Well, that's actually not a fact. She's just a calm person that doesn't burst easily. She always have that smile on her face, and likes peace. Whenever she gets mad, she'll do her breathing technique to calm herself down. She's also good in words and she's a friendly girl, always talks to the customers whenever she could. Sometimes a havoc would happen in the cafe due to the different types of personalities that you can find in it, and usually she's the one making everything back to normal. She's not one of the oldest in the cafe, but she's a girl that cares for her surroundings. She takes care of the workers like her own family. And she doesn't fight back. She doesn't talk back, or fight back except needed. She protects every worker in the cafe especially the baker that she cares like her own sister.

 

She might seem friendly and calm and all, but she's actually a different preson inside. She doesn't really shares her problems with anyone except her sister, and is good at keeping secrets. Mostly, secrets about her. No one in the cafe knows about her father's death. No one knows about her weakness. No one knows she can see those 'things'.  No one knows her real problems. She's also stubborn at times, when she feels injustice is happening. Oh, one more thing. Just because she's friendly, doesn't mean she isn't an ignorant girl. She dislike those kind of girls that comes to the cafe just to flirt the boys or boys who come to flirt the girls. Especially if Kim Hirae comes to flirt Baekhyun. She'll be the ignorant barista until the flirts exits the cafe.

 

SUMMARY: She's a sisterly type girl and actually a good listener too. Although she can't really settle her problems herself, she can at least handle it. She gets along with people easily, though opening up to them is kinda hard for her.

The Baker || She's the first person Irene get to know when she first work there. Plus, she looks like the kind of girl that has some warming up issues. That thought acutally brings her to know the girl more. ||  More like a sisterly relationship. Irene would always ask her conditions, knowing her shy nature. Sometimes, she would make a hot cappucino for the baker after the long hours of work.

 

 

Q1: Why did you decide to apply to this cafe?
A: I literally have nothing to do outside college. And since I usually drive past the cafe from my house to college, I thought of having a job to help my family's finance. Plus, it's near to my house

Q2: Who do think you're closest to out of everyone who works here?
A: The chef. We usually see each other, since our workplace is kinda close to each other. Plus, if this hot-tempered person outbursts all of the sudden, I'll always have the way to calm the chef down

Q3: Who do you get along with least of everyone?
A: The manager. Somehow, both of us just don't click with each other.

Q4: If there were a sudden catastrophe and you could only pick 3 things to help you survive the apocalypse, what would they be?
A: Really? Why of the sudden with this question? Anyways, I'll have my precious Ipod to kill the boredom, a gallon of water and LOTS of fruits. Wait. Does that even count?

A: First, I'm not the harry potter type girl. Although I love fantasy things, I just don't watch it. Well, I think a cat. Since cats are like so soft, calm, cute, friendly and all... I should stop or I'll go fangirling on... Erm... Cats.

Q6: What's your overall opinion of working at the cafe?
A: I like it here. Many things happens here, not to mention the different personalities that we have here. We understand each other, even though some just can't go with some other.

PERSONALITY: He's a sweet-talker, resulting girls to like his words that's full of sugar and sweets. He's nice to girls, and is loyal to his parents. He's sometimes careless, always forgetting to bring his schoolworks, forgetting his money, drops things, anything that you can say of. But, Baekhyun never forgets his promises, that's something he's never careless at. He's a good boy too, as people describes him.

 

He's soo cheerful that he loves to play around, making him careless too. He always love to make people smile, especially when they're feeling down. Baekhyun's a stubborn boy too, he'll get what he wants, but if he really can't then it's okay for him. Even with his stubborn ways, he cares for everyone he loves.

 

TRIVIA: Baekhyun is actually a senior in her highschool before, a classmate of Jeongmi. They started dating when Irene was 20 years, and coicidentally enter the same college. They never realized, that both Irene and Baekhyun were born on the same day with one year gape.

HISTORY: Their meeting was kind of unexpected. It was arranged by her sister Rianne and Jeongmi, her best friend. It was a coincidence that Baekhyun is close to Jeongmi, so they decided to bring them together. They brought both of them to the cafe Irene currently works at and left them there. But, during that time, Irene wasn't working there yet. That's when they started knowing each other. Since then, they would always go out together, wither to the park or just stargaze. And, at that particular moment, both started to feel affectionate to each other. And Baekhyn did the craziest thing ever.

 

He finally confessed to her in a fairytale way with him wearing a Prince Charming outfit and Irene wearing a Princess dress. That's how they are known as the Fairytale Couple. Until now, their nicknames 'Prince Charming' and 'Princess' sticked to them.

INTERACTIONS: You can say that Baekhyun does the talk. He always calls her 'Princess' and Irene calls her 'Prince Charming'. Baekhyun always plays around with her, trying to make her laugh whenever she's feeling down. He knows Irene isn't comfortable with too much skinship, so he would only hold her hand sometimes and if he feels it, he would back-hug her.
