New hope - New enthusiasm

As the days pass, seasons change.. And when seasons change, semester changes! Days are decreasing, and my anxiety is increasing. Well, I'm sure I'm not the only one scared for exams. You may relate to this. But these exams are important in my life. These exams are the second most important exams in my life, no, actually in every indian student's life.. And that is because they will determine my "capability" for future studies.

I lost interest in studies because I was overconfident. I thought that I'll crack the examination anyway because studies are a piece of cake in my assumption. With such overconfidence, I gave my History examination in tuition. History, being one of my beloved subjects, got me too full of myself. I didn't prepare well and thought that I would score full marks. Alas, all that confidence shattered when I attempted only 15 marks out of 40. I felt so humiliating and dejected. Everyone must be familiar with the stereotypical asian parents. Haha, all hail THE asian parents! They are so laid-back and supportive. [Just being sarcastic]

So, here I am getting humiliated by such score in one of my favourite subjects with my parents as well as tutor pressurizing me. Friends, I hate to admit about the fact that you can't achieve something unless you don't work hard. Even though you are born with talent, your talent won't be of any use unless you don't put it into practice. You can't escape hard work if you want success. So I thought about it and studied for hours. FINALLY!!!! I was done with my studies and waiting for my re-examination. Nailed it. Despite scoring full marks I felt unsatisfied. The reason for it is that perfection doesn't give chances. You have to capture her in your first attempt only if you wish to feel it's glory.

The thing is, you have to study hard in order to get good grades. You gotta put your talents into practice if you want your talents to be acknowledged by others. The secret for hard work is.. Willpower. Willpower plays an antithetical role in our lives. It's the best part as well as worst part. It's the best part because it accelerates our enthusiam and helps us attain success. But the worst part is, it requires hella lotta patience to increase and maintain your willpower. I would suggest you all, my dear readers, to always remember these few lines whenever you get distracted :

No more turning back, no more turning back

For my endeavour to succeed will never lack.

I'm going to resume my studies friends. Just wanted to share this with you all. We will rock this examination! All the best to you!
