Hyora has a mop of brown hair which is naturally straight. However, she occasionally curls her hair so that it looks like a flowing river. Well, that's a weird description, but that's what she wants to describe her hair. She doesn't usually dye her hair, and when she does, she tends to stick to black and red, the colors that she calls the "safe colors". She has a pair of eyes that is brown. Although she wants the ideal hourglass figure like any other female, she actually has the banana body shape, one of the most common female body shapes.

When she's outside, Hyora's style is rather feminine. Dresses and leggings are her ultimate pairing. When she isn't wearing a one-piece, she would be matching blouses with skirts. Hyora isn't really a fan of accessories though she always wears the necklace that her mother gave her. She doesn't like experimenting with styles; most of the time, she only sticks to one or two styles. The shoes yikyung owns are mostly flat pumps and the occasional pairs of high heels. Hyora really likes hairstyling; the way her hair is styled pretty much changes every week. During normal days, her hair is let down but during slightly hotter days, her hair is tied into a braid, ponytail or a bun. Sometimes, during warm seasons, she would cut her hair and have it short.

First Impressions...
Hyora is known for her angelic smile and polite demeanor. She would cast a smile to every person she passes by, even to a stranger or someone she is not familiar with. Not only that, she is very compassionate and sympathizes easily, though that can also serve as a weakness if she were to become a leader. Hence, despite the fact that she seems to possess leadership qualities, she hasn't been chosen to be the leader of Fairy Tale. Hyora is very observant when it comes to facial expressions so she knows what not to say and what not to do. All in all, she is a disciplined young girl who was the role model in her classes back then.

Digging Deeper...
Although Hyora seems perfect, she doesn't have many close friends. She is very picky when it comes to her friends and often judges at first glance; if a person gives her a bad vibe, she would refuse to be friends with that person, though she will continue to put up her nice and kind image. The fact that she is an introvert certainly doesn't help either. This is why people doesn't fancy the idea of being her friend even though she looks like someone that would befriend anyone she meets. The lucky few who do break in, however, will still leave in the end of the day.

Inside Her Heart
Hyora isn't a very happy person. Sure, she isn't bawling her eyes out 24/7, but she is moody pretty often due to stress. That's because she sets high expectations for herself and afterwards, she pushes herself to accomplish them. Regarding her social life, Hyora is contented enough actually; she likes watching by the sidelines. Joy is contagious, so when she sees everyone laughing and enjoying by themselves, she would smile geniunely to herself. Most of her laughter isn't geniune; it takes a lot to really make her laugh. Another thing about her is that she meddles a lot in other people's affairs and also acts as a naggy mother which can be pretty off-putting sometimes.

Interacting With Others...
Hyora isn't shy; she just prefers observing rather than talking. She does have a way with words just so that she won't offend others, and she is even more cautious with whatever she says after debuting in Fairy Tale. Usually she doesn't let her true emotions show in front of others, though she does vent all of her negative feelings when she is alone. In the idol industry, she has experienced enough to know most of the things she has to do to get in her fans' good books. Hence, on variety shows and reality shows, she overexaggerates some of her hobbies to create a personality for herself. One of her hobbies that she overexaggerates is her penchant for sweets.

Views About Life
She may not say it loud, but Hyora has lots of different insights about life. She loves to talk about life, future, family, friendship and love in general. She doesn't really like how most romance stories portray love, mainly because she thinks that the so-called "love" they are talking about is unrealistic and is really just "infatuation". To her, the process of love is gradual. words are not shared, but small actions shown by both parties just show the true love between them. In a way, she is very pragmatic and doesn't fantasize over impossible things. Rather, she plans for her future realistically and pursues whatever goals she has.

Into The New World...
Hyora is born in a family that is slightly richer than average. From young, she has been taught to become a respectful and disciplined child. Although it seems like her life is restricted in many ways, Hyora is contented with everything she has. From others' point-of-views, she appears to be a bit distant from her parents but that is not the truth. Both her parents and herself are meek and quiet people with few words, so they show their love in little actions rather than spoken words. Even if they don't say it, Hyora knows her parents love them and they know that she loves them too.

The Birth of a New Life...
When she is eight, her younger sister has arrived into the world. Unlike her older sister, Ha Hyera is a spoiled and stubborn girl that can only controlled by Hyora and her father. The reason of the difference in the two's personalities may be due to the fact that their mother evidently spoils the younger more, and their father is slightly more lax with Hyera. Though she does envy and even resents her sister at times, At the end of the day, Hyora understands her parents' reasons. Thanks to their strictness, she feels that she has grown more independent than children her age and she is really glad for that.

Teenage Years...
In school, Hyora is an introvert that is viewed as the role model of the class. Her hobbies do differ from the crowd, but that doesn't mean that she is bullied by others; in fact, she is respected for her caring personality and skills. One of her close friends is Tsukiyama Mika, a Japanese transfer student. Mika has shown her a lot of pictures that she had taken in Japan. Not only that, she has also told her stories about Japan which has piqued Hyora's interest. That is how she has started researching more information about Japan and learning the Japanese language.

Gaining Interest in Music...
Hyora has always enjoyed listening to music, especially ballads. She wanted to be a writer at the first place, but after she watches a youtube video of someone dancing ballet, her dream has changed. In her opinion, music is something beautiful that can express all her suppressed emotions without being judged. Afterwards, she requests to join a ballet class and begins practising hard. After two years, she ventures into other types of dances to find her own style of dancing. Outside from dancing, she has learnt to play a few music instruments, but she finds herself most skilled with the flute.

Others' Opinions... 
When Hyora tells her family about her dream of being an idol, her parents are supportive while Hyera is a bit skeptical, thinking that her older sister can find a much better career. Nevertheless, Hyera decides to support her sister eventually since it is what she really wants to do. Her classmates have divided responses; some thinks that she can do better while some thinks that she would definitely be successful. Despite all that, Hyora is rather insistent on her dream and makes up her mind to audition in SM Ent.

FATHER — Ha Homin // 54 // Construction Company's Manager // Courageous, Dutiful ; Cynical, Stubborn // Homin is Hyora's role model. Their relationship is professional and distant, but Hyora has always felt a strange connection towards him. Like her, hobin seems horribly perfect and flawless, but she knows that that isn't the truth; that is never the truth for anyone. Therefore, among the family, Hyora personally feels that she is the closest to Homin on an emotional level.

Mother — Min Jaeri // 51 // Fashion Designer // Persuassive, Magnimous ; Vain, Paranoid // Jaeri is what Hyora calls a real mother; someone who is willing to sacrifice for her children. She wanted to quit her job so that she could take care of Hyora, and she would probably have done so if Hyora's father wasn't there to stop her. Nevertheless, after Hyora is born, she tries her utmost ability to spend time with her daughter. Unlike Homin, Jaeri is always paranoid so whenever she sees Hyora without a smiling face, she would ask what happened to her. That is how smiling becomes a habit for Hyora.

YOUNGER SISTER/HER PRINCESS — Ha Hyera // 14 // Middle Schooler // Confident, Imaginative ; Impulsive, Arrogant // Hyera is always reliant on her older sister; whenever she gets back home, she would tell her everything that had happened in school. Hyora, on the other hand, gives advice to Hyera whenever she needs help; be it in school work or relationships. Their relationship is also more friendly; Hyera being the spoiled little sister and Hyora being the mature and calm older sister. Although, sometimes, Hyera tries really hard to act like the bigger one between them and she even thinks she is.

best friend/PARTNER-IN-CRIME — Tsukiyama Mika // 22 // Trainee Teacher // Humble, Considerate ; Indulgent, Petty // Mika and Hyora have a mature friendship that is also full of fun. They often share knowledge they know of and also interesting stories about their lives. They rarely ever bicker, but since they have different opinions about certain subjects, they would debate and try to convince the other of their own reasoning. Mika is the only one that Hyora confides her true feelings in with the exception of her own father. In return, Hyora also lends Mika a listening ear when she has any problems. They always give each other the due respect the other party deserves. Maybe their friendship isn't like any other, but that's what makes it so special and unique.

FRIEND/KID SUNBAE — Lee Hyukjae // 28 // Member of Super Junior // Generous, Well-Tempered ; Cowardly, Blunt // Eunhyuk has always reminded Hyora of a more subdued version of her younger sister. Besides, Eunhyuk also shares her hobby which is dancing. Although Eunhyuk is her sunbae, he behaves very much like a kid in front of her. Hyora treats him like her very own brother, but considering the fact that they are still sunbae-hoobae relationship, in front of each other, they haven't fully let loose of their true selves yet.

FRIEND — Jin Naryung // 21 // Soloist // Helpful, Hardworking ; Dependent, Discontented // Naryung is the one that had heard Hyora practising singing alone in a room. Being the helpful girl she is, she went into the room to give her some advice regarding her singing skills. That was how Naryung and Hyora became friends, albeit not very close ones. When Naryung teaches Hyora singing, Hyora would teach her how to dance since Naryung feels that dancing may become a useful skill later on in her career life. A few months before Fairy Tail debuts, Naryung had debuted as a soloist, but nevertheless, the two remain in contact.

Starting Off...
Hyora's dream company was SM Ent. since many of her favorite idols are from SM. That was why she made up her mind to audition at SM and SM only. She was rejected the first two times she auditioned because her singing skills weren't up to standard. For the sake of her idol dream, she kept improving her singing skills since the two failures and managed to get in the third time. She was elated when she finally got in and even had a party with Hyera to celebrate her success.

First Year of Being a Trainee...
Trainee life had been tough for Hyora because she rarely went back home to see her family members. Not only that, she is easily prone to stress so she had really taken criticisms by her trainers to heart. She saw how some of the trainees were bullied because according to their bullies, they lacked talent. Other than that, she also heard that being a trainee was difficult, because there was a chance one might never debut and instead, was left in the dust. That was when she became fearful and practised really hard. Thankfully, she hadn't been a target for bullying throughout her trainee years.

Second Year of Being a Trainee...
The second year was better than the first mainly because she grew accustomed to her busy life of practising. She hadn't really talked to anyone except for Jin Naryung who was another trainee in sm. However, unlike Hyora, Naryung was trained in singing. When SM announced that they would choose the members for their new girl group, Fairy Tale, she was really nervous, but was thankful when she was chosen to be the main dancer of the group, her ideal position.

LEE HOYA

personality — Hoya is a very calm person who is very forthright when it comes to his own opinions. He is always polite to everyone around him and can be the moodmaker in a very odd way. Though he isn't shy, he, like Hyora, prefers to observe rather than talk excessively. He also plans for the future and has a very organized lifestyle. one flaw that hoya has is that he is a pretty conventional person. that means that he can be inflexible at times since he tends to stick to traditional beliefs. Other than that, he is also very miserly and tries to spend as little money as possible, although it can be a strength sometimes. Lastly, Hoya is critical when it comes to mistakes and can say very harsh words if necessary. However, he usually doesn't mean any ill intent and just wants to help the person he is criticizing to improve. 

relationship — Hoya and Hyora's relationship is light-hearted, mature and sometimes competitive. Hoya's hidden odd humor would trigger geniune laughter from Hyora's heart, and soon after, Hyora would return with witty remarks and comments. Sometimes, Hyora would nag at Hoya, and in return, whenever Hoya spots a mistake made by her, he would give her feedback and advice to improve. The members think that they make up a perfect couple; the loving mother and the modest father. 
They didn't share much about their personal lives at the beginning of their relationship but as time passes by, Hyora finds herself trusting Hoya more. Before Fairy Tale's next comeback, the stress inside her heart starts to accumulate and that is when she finally opened up to Hoya for the first time. From then on, the bond between the couple has become stronger and both have made an agreement to confide with each other when they have any problems. The person who breaks their agreement will have to let the other flick him/her on the forehead as many times as he/she wants. Ouch.

history — They go to the same hair salon. both of them have good first impressions for each other; Hyora thinks that Hoya is a well-mannered and responsible guy while Hoya thinks that Hyora is a considerate lady. Despite that, they've never really gotten close because both of them are not really extroverts. When both groups attend Music Bank, however, Hoya and Hyora are requested to perform a special stage and that is how they got close. During the special stage, they've danced the latin dance. It was awkward at first since they didn't really know each other, but after several conversations and many practices, they manage to perfect the dance. Since dance is a hobby they share, their conversations are often centered around it. Even after the special stage, they still remain in contact.
