background — Haru was born in Osaka, Japan. Her dad was chef and an owner of a famous Korean restaurant until it spread to other countries. Her mom was a pianist and her parents met when her dad was watching her recital. She has an older brother, Suzuki Ichiro. He is a university student in Tokyo.

When Haru was young, she got piano classes, trying to follow her mother's steps. Then, she started singing lullabies, children songs, and all. She still have videos of her singing with a comb on her hand in exchange of a microphone.

One day, her mom got into a car accident, leaving the whole world. It was a pretty bad memory of Haru. Right now, she still write letters for her mom. After her accident, Haru and her dad left Japan and moved to Seoul, back to their homeplace. She transferred to a middle school in Korea. She was bullied at that time. Why? Because language barriers, she wore braces, big glasses, and a chubby body. She was really different from the others.

She joined at a talent event on her school and then won first place. Then, her teacher suggested her to join Superstar K3. That time, she changed looks, removing her braces, wearing contact lens, and also lose weight. She auditioned and won first place with her powerful voice. After that, she was gaining attention from others, especially a Cube recruiter. She signed under them and began her training life.

She studied in SoPA (School of Performing Arts) in Seoul alongside with EXO's Sehun. After graduating, she is currently studying in Korean National University of Arts taking school of music.

trainee life — Haru had a hard time on training because the diet was really strict. She also learned some dancing styles even though she wasn't a good dancer. She was really ambitious of being a singer. Thanks to her mentor, family, and friends who supported her, she never gave up. She was also taught by 4minute's Gayoon who became a close friend of hers.

interaction — They eat together when they have a break, laugh at each other's lame jokes, and anything. She was a vitamin to him while he was too. Sometimes, they would always have 'skinship'. Because of dancing together, they got used to each other's touch. Whenever Sehun's bored, he will find Haru and poke her cheeks, pretty much annoy her. Then he wil always comment on her writings like "ew that's so cheesy, sing it for me." or say that her drawings are so ugly, but it's actually better than his. She would frown at his comments and he would be like "no, it's great, i take back my word" and all, but she will just laugh at it at the end.

how you met — Haru and Sehun met when they were in high school. They studied in the same arts high school and shared dancing classes together. Both of them never communicate, but Haru would greet him a wide smie and he would just give her a small smile.

One day, the dance coach paired them together. Yes, one of the best dancers with the one of the worst dancers. Looking at Haru's dancing skills, it made Sehun laugh. It was just so goofy and her moves pretty much says help. She can hit high notes, but her body can't follow the rhythm of the music.  Both of them practiced together and Sehun pretty much just taught her some dance moves. After that, Haru got closer with Sehun.

Turns out, he was just another dorky and an adorable kid even though he has a grumpy or cold expression. Haru's dancing skills were getting better and better all because of Sehun. Both of them practiced a lot for the assignment and the dance coach was pretty much happy for both of them.
