Please, someone explain this to me

So I was looking through the JongTae tag in hopes of finding some and all I really saw was bottom Jonghyun or Jonghyun being seen as smaller than Taemin.

How?

I know he's shorter than Taemin but people don't seem to realize that it's only quite literally TWO CENTIMETERS SHORTER. Find your nearest ruler for me please. How much is two centimeters? Not enough to where it should make a big difference.

And Taemin weighs about 126 pounds, Jonghyun is about 132 or so. That's a good 8 pound difference.

I honestly don't see why Jonghyun is always bottoming nowadays with people calling him smaller than Taemin. With the picture from SAEM it's pretty obvious that Jonghyun's legs aren't smaller than Taemin's and Jonghyun's arms, even though he's lost weight, still have more muscle than Taemin's. His chest is naturally wider than Taemin's. I don't see how people call Jonghyun smaller.

Please, explain to me how this works.

Is it because of that 'Dracula oppa' thing?

Danger? Taemin's new solo career?

I'm honestly curious as to how we went from dominant Jonghyun in internet war to dominant Taemin.

I'm not trying to be a saying things like "top Tae ! Bleh!" but I do think Taemin is more of a bottom. I just want to know why do many people like bottom Jonghyun. I understand how people like top Taemin but those tell together just didn't make sense to me.

I just want to know where you people got this idea, like, did I miss something within the past year? 0.0

I like top jjong obviously lol. But maybe people wants to experiment. It i just in my opinion jjong has more attitude and tae is beautiful so o prefer bottom tae. But in real gay couple they tend to switch but still bottom jjong sounds gross to me. What i want to read is a OC tht is a girl but will dominant jjong. Maybe gross but interesting. I havent find one though

I like Bottom!Jonghyun because I like Top!Tae xD also, Bottom!Jonghyun is just so contradictory to the image he tries to give out all the time, so I just find it ironic. Personally, if we're talking about real life, I think he would be a switch--most honest gay couples switch often. But bottom!jjong is just really entertaining to me xD I feel like it would be something he would like but wouldn't want to admit to it. And honestly after Danger, I can see Bottom!Tae a lot more than I could before, but I still think either is fine.

Honestly I have to agree with whisperlucifer. It's really just preference. Like I personally don't care who is larger or taller in the fic. I think for me it's more of whoever has a more snarky or demanding attitude is the seme. idk if that makes sense. XD lol but for me its how they act and their personality that shows me who is the one in control, not how tough and big they are. Sounds like stereotyping to me. Hope you find some good jongtae that you like though! :)

Idk top Taemin never sounded good to me but being a 2min shipper made me deal
But bottom Jonghyun sounds horrible. I can MAYBE see Key topping Jonghyun but not really.
Although, I am a person who ships TOBAE and I know personally that, even though he is shorter, I ship Youngbae on top. Because between those two I just think that's how it should go.
But bottom Jjong sounds gross >.<

I think really it's just down to personal preference. Like, the fact that you just said 'I think Taemin is more of a bottom' shows that. What is it that makes you think that, the fact that he's younger? Muscle mass, body size and weight are not set in stone guides of who will be a more dominant partner in a relationship. Personally, I can see them either way, so I write both. I'm not wanting to sound harsh (because I really do think you're a great person and all and I like talking to you), but comments like this really do grate on me after a while because honestly, the only way you're ever going to have a fan-fiction that pans out exactly the way you want, is to write it yourself.
