"She didn't give up on you, she just got tired of giving her heart to you and you not handling it right. You're supposed to be protecting her heart from others breaking it, not be the one to break it yourself. You're supposed to be handling her heart with care, not throwing it down to the floor and pick it back up just to drop it again. You're supposed to be repairing the damage that's been done to her heart, not cause even more damage to it. You're supposed to be keeping that heart of hers safe from harm, not constantly putting it in harm's way. A girl can only have her heart broken so many times by the same guy before she can't take it anymore, even if it's by the guy she loves. It's not like she wanted to give up on the relationship, it's just you've pushed her enough far enough to consider that. Obviously, she wants this to work with you and she wants to be happy with you, but for some reason, that's just so god damn hard. Maybe her leaving you would knock some sense into you and make you realize what you've lost and that you should stop talking it for granted."
