She's naturally tall, but she's skinny, not because she doesn't eat much, but because she's quite obsessed with working out to let out her frustrations. Her body doesn't have any curves either, she is just a skinny girl. Her hair is brown, but she dyed it to blonde just because she wants to despite having to face punishments in school since it's forbidden to dye your hair while you're still in school. When she doesn't let her hair down, she usually braids it. Her eyes are really light brown, but she likes to put contact lenses with weird colors when she's on stage even though there won't be a lot of people realize that she uses contact lenses.
She doesn't wear much make up, because she feels that it's a bother to apply make up to her face every morning and she loves sleep too much to sacrifice it to take care of her appearances. And, make ups make her face itchy. The only times she wears make up is when her friends force her, which usually what happens when her band is going to perform.
She likes to wear oversized shirts and sweaters because they're really comfortable. Her wardrobes consist of a lot of free T-Shirts from events and some various-colored jeans, so the designs of the shirts she wears usually really simple and they are plastered with products', event's, and organizations' logos. Other than those, she has some clothes for performing, most are made from leathers to fit the concept of a typical rock band. All of them are brown-colored though, she refuses to wear black because black reminds her of funerals and endings. She pretty much just picks anything from her wardrobe when she needs to get clothed, that's why sometimes her clothes coordination seems off.

Personality:

Despite how she looks, she's actually still quite naive about the world, since she lived a sheltered life more than half her life. Despite the fact that her brain now is customized to think negatively about a lot of things, but her heart sometimes can't help but feel hopeful that her brain is wrong and expects everything will be good, even though she knows that it's almost impossible since she has been disappointed a lot of times.
She's also actually not really rebellious, the only times she doesn't obey the rules are when it's about her appearances. But other than that, even though she is in denial about it since she feels it will detach her from a lot of her friends, she still subconficiously tries to fit into society and people's standards and not being a total outcast. She easily grows attached to people so she avoids getting close to people on purpose since she is afraid that she will lose them. She likes being babied by her friends, since she doesn't have anyone else who will take care of her other than her friends (who befriended her and approached her first when she moved from Japan to Korea and didn't have any friends) so that's why she constantly seeks their attentions and lies when she doesn't like what they do or what they say so they won't get angry at her. She is afraid that her friends will hate her if she's being honest about her disapprovals. She lets people drag her around so they won't leave her and she's really loyal to them. She's basically really insecure about her relationships with other people.
More than often, people will find her face goes blank when she's daydreaming. She is almost a full time daydreamer since she daydreams a lot, sometimes she makes a lot of scenarios in her head since she likes to write fiction stories, sometimes she just remembers a lot of past moments. She's the type who gets stuck in the past, constantly regrets the things she does wrong and wishing she could goes back to the past.
She's a penny pincher, she loves getting free things and constantly making people around her treats her for foods. She actually has a lot of part time jobs because her father rarely gives her money and she needs to save money for her sister.
Generally, she's a sweet and a kind person. But she's often misunderstood as rude when she doesn't reply to people, when most of the times her mind is just not there or she has a hard time understanding the person she's talking to, since she doesn't talk in Korean for a long time when she was in Japan and her Korean sometimes needs to be improved again and she doesn't express her thoughts well. A lot people thought she is weird and prefers to stay away from her because there are lot of gossips about her (ex: that she's a right-winger and that she is a flirt), even though amazingly she is unaware of those gossips, mostly because she is usually not really aware of her surroundings.
She expresses her affections towards people really well, she's not afraid to tell people that she is fond of them (and sometimes this becomes burdensome to some people) and likes to touch and do skinship to people to make sure they're real and not her imaginations since her imaginations sometimes can be wild and seems real for her to the point it becomes a problem.
A procrastinator. If she gets off time, she will definitely use it to rest and stay in bed all day long not caring about anything.
She's the type who goes with the flow, not really thinking about her future.

Background: Her parents got a divorce when she was 8 years old, because of reasons that she doesn't know of. She was shocked when she found out, because she thought that there was nothing wrong with their family. She didn't know that her father is a bad man, constantly abusing her mother not only physically but also emotionally. Even after the divorce, she doesn't know about that and lives in confusion about her parents' divorce. Her mother got her under her custody meanwhile her father was able to take his sister, who was 6 years older than her, because her mother didn't even disclose in court why she wanted a divorce. After the divorce, her mother and she moved to Japan to start a new life altogether.

While in Japan, she found her passion for may kinds of arts and went to an art school. She was still in contact with her sister for 3 years after the divorce through letters, but after 3 years her sister didn't reply to her letters anymore and lost contact with her father and sister. She lived well in Japan and living a good life with her mother who constantly showered her with love and affection. She had lived in Japan for 6.5 years until her mother got cancer and died. After her mother died, because she and her mother didn't have any relatives, a friend of her mother helped her find her father's contact and then contacted him to take her with him. It took a while before her father agreed to let her live with him, which means she had to come back to Korea to live with her father and sister.

She was happy to be able to meet her father and sister again, but after she came back to Korea, she was shocked because her father was not as nice as she thought. His first words to her after they met was that he only let her live with him because he pitied her, he also told her not to disturb him and not to expect him to do fatherly things because he didn't care about her at all. She also found out that her sister didn't live with him and that he had sold her sister to pimps and now her sister's a e. He lived from the money he got from selling her sister.

Even though she asked her father to send her to an art school, she was sent to a public school where she struggles because she doesn't really know about a lot of Korean cultures anymore and she feels that she can't fit in after living in another country for a long time. She also struggles because of the subjects. She became a loner and lived miserably because she has no one to lean on. She was also stressed by a lot of things before she finally got some friends.

Her father constantly makes threats that he will also sell Hyerin if Hyerin doesn't obey him and making him spend a lot of money, sometimes he also threatens to hit her. When she begged her father to get her sister back, he hit her and told her that he didn't have money to buy her sister back and that her sister is useless anyway. After she saw her sister suffering in her job, she is determined to get her sister back and also save her from the ion world. That's why she saves money and also get excited when she knows she will debut because it means that she can get a lot of money and can save her sister.

Name: Kim, Myungsoo

Age: 20

Personality: He is smart and nice, but he is not sure about how he wants to live his life and what he wants for his life. He constantly lives for other people, whether it's his friends of his family. He never really thinks for himself. He's hardworking, he will sacrifice his health for a lot of things and that's why he gets sick often. He is very protective of the people he loves. He is really scary when he is angry, but he is good at keeping his emotions under control. Currently, he is emotionally weak and kind of depressed. He is very secretive. He is very charismatic and even though he doesn't talk much, a lot of people used to like him because of his good natured personality.

Background: His family was quite rich, he didn't really have a hard life. He has an older brother who is in university abroad with a scholarship. His father is a politician while his mother is just a housewife. His family used to have a really good reputations until when Myungsoo was in his last year of high school, there were news broke out that his father was corrupt and stole money from a lot of people, damaging their reputation, including Myungsoo's reputation in school. A lot of students and even teachers alienated him and even bullied him. A lot of his family assests were taken away and almost leave them with nothing, his father was sent to jail and his mother got depressed and got sick, while his brother didn't come back from abroad and chose to stay away from their family problems. All of these makes him stressed and he almost dropped out from high school. After he graduated, since he's still stressed and have to find a way to make money before his and his mother's money runs out, he failed his college entrance test. Since then he decided to just work anywhere and everywhere. After he found out that Hyerin was going to debut, he gets an idea to audition at a lot of entertainment agencies since being an idol seems to mean he can get a lot of money, and he has the face to be an idol and he needs to catch up to Hyerin. But he wonders if he has the talents and if he succeed, will he be able to hide who his family is...

Relationship: They're like an oppa and a dongsaeng, Myungsoo constantly giving advices to Hyerin while Hyerin admired Myungsoo. Myungsoo treated Hyerin like a little sister he never has. They're quite open about their affections towards each other, but both of them decided not to be in a relationship because of their own problems and they haven't confessed yet. Hyerin is one of the few people who doesn't stay away from Myungsoo after the news about his father broke out and she is one of the source of his emotional strengths. After he graduated, he and Hyerin had a hard time meeting with each other but still in contact with each other. Too bad, they keep secrets from each other, not telling each other about their personal problems.

How You Met: They met at the school's photography club, where he was the captain.

Back Up: Lee, Sungyeol

Personality: Insecure about his looks and his skills, has a good sense of humor and able to make people laughs, is one of the best in variety with his humor and ability to imitate a lot of things. Is not afraid to make a fool out of himself. He is easily bored and constantly trying to find something to do, sometimes it includes annoying other people. Talk without thinking, sometimes he is too honest it pisses some people off. Can be serious, but most of the time he chooses not to. Is quite insensitive.

Background: He originally wanted to be an actor, but when he get accepted into his agency, he is trained to be an idol instead even though he is not interested at all. His singing and dancing skills are just so-so, no matter how much he tried. He is one of the visuals in his group, but he is not good looking enough to be the main visual and after he debuted, he feels even more useless because not only his skills are not good enough to be acknowledged by other people, he also doesn't have enough public recognition to get casting offers. He decides to start from small roles until he is experienced and can start auditioning for big roles.

Relationship: Sungyeol often chases Hyerin around just to get an entertainment from her, because she is kind of entertaining for him with her reactions to his sarcastic remarks. Sungyeol thinks that Hyerin is fake, since he can see that Hyerin lies to her friends often even though that's not the case. He told her that and Hyerin got mad at him and hated him right away. He keeps taunting her until she finally explodes and yell at him about her feelings, making him feel bad and now he's trying to make amends with her...

How you met: Sungyeol watched the competition live and met her and her friends backstage.
