The story you were reading was reported. You're upset.

Step one: Did the story violate the Terms of Use?

If the answer is yes, it is the author's fault that it was reported. If it breaks the rules, a fellow reader doesn't have to skip the story. It is their right to report it. They are not the bad guy if the story is in fact against the rules.

Calling the reporter stupid, hateful, evil, a prude, threatening to assault them with a cactus, accusing them of being jealous--think about it. The author chose to break the rules. They are the ones who gave you that story. Maybe you chose to read it knowing it was against the rules and therefore at risk of being reported. I'm not saying you shouldn't have feelings. I'm just asking you to stop directing hate and anger towards your fellow readers.
