— kirsten. junghwa was a participant in a local study abroad program and the destination was norway. she spent at least three months studying in norway before heading back to south korea. once you live in the particular country, even if it's only for a little while, you'd still have to legalize a name based on the country you live in. she decided with kirsten, because she absolutely adored the norwegian name from the very beginning of her research. this name is also considered her non-legalized english name: kirsten heo.              

— hwa (-ah). this nickname is her first name with the 'jung' removed from it. even though a lot more people call her by her full first name, although some of her close friends like to shorten it into just the last syllable of her name. some really close friends also like to add an '-ah' at the end as a form of affection.
— kirsy. a lot of people would refer to her as this because well, this was her former stage name when she was still a member of rainbow. the name is kind of odd to her, but since everyone finds it cute, she doesn't really matter. her former stage name was like a camouflage; the littlest of people recognized her as 'junghwa' and replaced her actual name with kirsy.
—  waste of space. this name is given by korean netizens. when she was a member of rainbow, a lot of their fans and non-fans acknowledged her as the useless member. she was the one to be completely outshone by her other bandmates in the aspects of talent and looks, that she was just a side member of rainbow. k-netizens heard the buzz of kirsy's comeback in a different group, they decided to carry on their knowledge of the girl for being the 'useless' one once again, although junghwa wants to change her image into a better one as she debuts into a new female group.

ladies and gentlemen, let me introduce you to the weirdest wormbaby of south korea, heo junghwa. according to the latest calculations, she is fifty percent hyperactive and fifty percent definitely not your ideal type of girl. if you scan from her first facial expressions, you could definitely tell she's the 'happy virus' type of person, whether you like it or not. a wide grin is always plastered across her pretty, oval face, convincing people that she's a happy virus and well, she is. firstly, she isn't a damn coward to take bold risks. if she wants to do something outrageously dangerous, then let her because if you want to stop her, i think there's not a single way to do so. she will take risks, even if it makes sense or not. she isn't the type of person to think twice about her decisions. ["i know i did a horrible dance cover of mamma mia, but at least give me credit for working hard, okay?"].

aside from her imaginative thinking, junghwa is also considered as a semi-hardworking person, but is leaning more to obtain a side where she really wants to succeed in the field she's interested with, and that's performing arts. she always has a soft spot for music and everything that revolves around it, check: idols. she is passionate and wants to grow into a better developer in music. she worked hard to achieve her dream once she debuted with rainbow and was utterly devastated that she would be replaced by another trainee in dsp media just a few months later after her official debut. that didn't stop her, though, it only encouraged her to become a better artist. she isn't the one to easily give up and become sappy about it. hell no, she's a grown woman who can make decisions and she will make them right. she wants to pay back to her parents by being successful; she'll do it, no matter how hard it is.

differing from her audacious and imaginative side, she is actually a person known for her terrifying organized nature. she arranges everything precisely, doesn't miss a single day of practices, and creates a special color-coded schedule book to keep track of what she does on that particular day. she's also a little bit cleanly, but mostly organized because she isn't clumsy nor messy. really. people tend to not believe her, but once you're one of her close friends and she invites you to her dorm room, jawdroppingly unbelievable. now that we've cleared the details on her positive traits, let's move on to the devouring creature of junghwa. first of all, the trait that undeniably hisses people away from befriending her is that she's the type of person to mislead others as a coverage for her own mistake. she likes to create more and more lies to defend herself from being blamed because she hates getting blamed on, even if it's because of her own mistakes. she will come up with a whole lot of excuses to save herself from the problem she's facing.

as junghwa is an organized type of person, it would lead her to carressing her possessions a little bit too much, as if they're her children, her babies to be exact. whenever she receives something she wants, she will keep it in her pocket and won't dare to let it burn from the scroching sunshine or the scathing touch of people's hands. this does not relate to only items, but people as well. when she targets someone she wants to get cozy with, she won't hand them to pretty much anyone else except her. at first impressions, junghwa would look like the type of person to praise herself in both good-looks and talent, but unsurprisingly to korean netizens, she's actually not. well, she excessively critics herself because of k-netizens influence with hate comments; telling her to eat less, to improve her dancing skills, et cetera. she judges herself a lot, like, every second. she complains on how her clothes look stupid and many other negativity that showers her inner self.

being overly hyperactive as a twenty-year old almost half of the time, it wouldn't be a surprise if her reactions are sort of not on point and doesn't make sense. she gets easily distracted. example, if she's talking with the leader and suddenly there's a plane flying across the clouds above seoul, she'll totally forget what the leader said to her. she's resembles a child when she's distracted, all glowing and eyes filled with glitter.

 

— fussion tea. she likes every kind of tea there is, but seriously, she is obsessed with fruit-flavored tea. whether it's lemon, strawberry, and mango, she'll gulp all of it down,
— modeling. she already has a small career as an actress, but she wants to grow into a model the next time she goes to casting calls. she thinks she'd fit perfectly to pose dynamically.

— leather boots. she owns at least two pairs of these boots and she needs to buy more.

— lipgloss. she has a huge infatuation with them and collects a whole bag of colorful lipglosses. fuschia, coral, light pink, purple, you name it and everything's there.

— cactuses. she loves, loves, loves cactuses in general because she thinks their pricks are extremely pretty to look at. has over four cactus plants in her dorm.

— deep-voiced people. she doesn't like to input '' terms in anything, although people with deep voices gives her eternal eargasms.

— 90s manhwa. of course, she spares some time to read the latest manhwas there is, but she prefers the 90s manhwas better because c'mon, their art style is literally the best.

— round glasses. she does not have a bad eyesight nor actually wears glasses. however, she finds people who wear round glasses very, very attractive.

 

— action movies. trust me, don't invite her out for a movie if it's action because she'll fall asleep and drool on your shoulder. she finds it extremely boring.

— crooked nails. when she sees a person's finger being crooked and look like it's been bitten by a thousand ants then she'll shriek and treat you out for a manicure.

— plastic-looking barbie dolls people. well, yes, she does live in south korea, the country known for their ridiculous amount of plastic surgery done everywhere on one's face. she, herself, did undergo double-eyelids surgery, but she doesn't like it when a person goes all-out with their surgery. she doesn't hate them, she just wants them to like their own natural faces.

— intense diets. seeing all of these female and male models looking like stick figures worries the hell out of her. she really needs to open a health program especially for idols.

— overly confident boys. can she shove her middle finger right in front of their ugly- faces. she swears to god that those kind of boys deserve a kick on their shin.

— stupidity. one isn't born with stupidity unless you have a mental disability. if you don't then why are you acting so dumb? be realistic for once.

— mc-ing. she's a wonderful talker, it's abundant, but when it comes to talking to a million of viewers in tv... she will stutter.

 

— curling a strand of hair with her finger. this is just something she's been doing since she was a kid, and sometimes, the hair starts to get tangled.

— straining . i know a lot of people do this, but she does this literally all the time, even when isn't soar.

— lightly slapping her cheeks when she's embarrassed. there's people who cover their faces when embarrassed, but junghwa? slap. slap. slap.

— scratching her chin. even if it doesn't feel itchy, she'll randomly scratch it out of the blue.

 

— ( ` annyeong, i'm kirsy, rainbow's maknae; ) she was known as the youngest member of rainbow. she joined the group's debut promotion, which was 'gossip girl', 'not your girl', and 'a' until she was replaced with kim jisook.

junghwa completed her three-month study abroad program in norway and her dream was to become a high-rating university professor, that was the whole reason why she decided to join the program. although through all the sweat, tears, and blood, her dream eventually flunked and vanished from her thoughts as she figured out that the payment for the university was incredibly higher than expected, so she didn't even bother to invest a little more, but to only sigh. the female was a gorgeous being and just by walking a block away from her house, she saved the dim light of her future. ["hey, you, i'd like to offer an audition to get in cube entertainment."]. being an idol wouldn't be too bad, right? she trained at yg entertainment and developed herself in dancing, singing, rapping, acting, et cetera, you name it. she was an average trainee, transferring from different companies to another. the last trip she had sailed was to transfer to become a dsp media trainee; her final destination until debut.

according to the producers and ceo of dsp media, she was a trainee with the least amount of training and months being in the company before debuting. to the other trainees who had been working hard for three to four years, they felt that it was unfair, but the ceo specifically said, ["we're going to let her debut."]. her position in rainbow was as a sub-dancer, vocalist, and the youngest member. dsp media basically didn't get to acknowledge her talent in dancing. she debuted with the other six members of rainbow by performing 'gossip girl' everywhere in the area of seoul until she was extremely exhausted. then it began, it all started from false statements in social media, but fans and non-fans started to call kirsy as the 'useless' member of the group, saying that she had no talent and that she was worse than all the typical maknaes. she was devastated to be hearing all of those names while she performed. negative point, she was already the least popular member, but she held her head up high, trying her best to ignore the hate comments she was receiving.

later after she finished their promotions for 'a', it was a big rumor spreading in the company that one rainbow member would be replaced by another new trainee. of course, hearing that would bring devastation to one's point of view, especially when it came to junghwa; she was just getting comfortable socializing with the other members. when she was practicing a new comeback song until dawn, the ceo barged in and told her to stop practicing, to stop being a member of rainbow. it was a shock to all of the other members when they heard the news of junghwa leaving the group, having replaced by kim jisook. conclusions started to erupt that dsp was just 'using' junghwa, jisook being an original member of the lineup. there were also conclusions that jisook's resemblance to taeyeon won the heart of dsp, so they decided to replace the maknae.

when she officially left rainbow and dsp media itself, she felt like a pigeon being let out of a cage. dsp wasn't a bad company, they just didn't know how to handle things well. she was going to dearly miss the fellow members of rainbow, but she had to let go. despite rumors spreading more and more amongst her, she tries little by little to develop her dancing and singing abilities, sick of hearing all of the unnecessary hate comments. after independently training her overall skills, she was then scouted by xeno media, the company wanted her to become an actress, but it seemed that it wasn't their original plan to only expand junghwa's field in acting.

most of you might think that junghwa met taekwoon through hakyeon, and that's probably the lamest   scenario ever if it has anything to do with hakyeon, so no, they didn't meet through hakyeon. their first encounter was approximately two days after vixx's debut. junghwa was supposed to visit hakyeon's dorm (technically, vixx's dorm), bug the hell out him whilst singing a messy version of 'super hero', and share a box of hardened cereal with him, but when she rang the doorbell, a pair of sleepy eyes greeted her. the jet black man just stared at her and she honestly felt violated by his scanning eyes. she asked where hakyeon was and taekwoon shook his head (he also thought that she might be one of those stalker-ish fans, so he didn't disclose the exact address), saying that he was out with the others. he didn't spare another glance at the female in front of her and closed the door shut, leaving junghwa dumbfounded and pissed at the same time.

after having occasional meetings set up by hakyeon after their abrupt first meeting, they eventually grow as friends, not as close, but they still like to share about their interests and pretty much their only mutual interest is their passion for singing. sometimes, when they hangout together, whether it's at vixx's or replay's dorm, they'd sing any song together; mindless pop, english, et cetera, et cetera. they don't really meet up a lot, but when they do, it's like sparkles and butterflies and cuteness that people around them might just die. well, their conversations might only involve about life and interests. they also talk about books, maybe? taekwoon loves reading and junghwa also has a slight infatuation in books so their conversations might trail off to discussing female antagonists. it's been three years since they met and honestly, their relationship is working like a snail. it's extremely difficult for her to get close to taekwoon because he doesn't open up a lot and freely comes up with subjects to talk about. and there's hakyeon who's desperately watching them from afar. taekwoon needs some loving too, y'know.
