Why were you letting the fire eat you?

You were once a simple star, twinkling in the night sky

An inspiration to a small butterfly

But now look at you, you turned into something that none can decipher

You’re a wild fire that keeps growing and growing

And this is scaring the small butterfly

Because of your fire, you forgot to notice the effect on the small butterfly

You were slowly killing the small butterfly, not physically but emotionally

It was like taking the freedom away from the small butterfly

The freedom to be happy and the freedom to fly with the butterfly that holds the heart dearly

Why were you letting the fire eat you?

Your fire is spreading wildly to a confused souls, and this is burning the heart of the small butterfly

You don’t notice anything other than your raging fire

You ignore the small voice

Pleading you to let the water wash over you

Pleading you to let the other butterfly to fly freely

Pleading you to look in their hearts

Pleading you to listen to the small voice that’s been trapped in a cage of fear

Why were you letting the fire eat you?

Does the small butterfly matters to you?

Or you only care about your fire?

Your fire, is squeezing the remaining blood of once a lively heart

the remaining light in a once glowing soul

keeping the small voice mute

keeping the brain blank

(feeling poetic? or not) hehehe, just want to share this, i wrote this while listening to some sad version of part of me, instrumental ^-^.. Anyways, what do u guys think? ^-^
