BACKGROUND ♡ Joo Mi was born on May 5, 1994. She was always a troublesome child growing up. Always getting in trouble or getting sent to the hall in school. She was never really behaved. Her parents would always sign her up for different things that she told them that she "hated" but it turns out that she'd use that excuse to actually do the hobbies. She's done soccer, ballet, piano, and art but quited because she thought it wasn't as fun as she thought it would be. But the one thing that she definitely hated the most was music. She at it. She'd always fail on purpose in school. Never trying. Since her parents notice her flunking, they decided to sign her up for rap. At first, Joo Mi hated it. She hated it so much that she'd actually try to injure herself before going but it didn't stop her parents from making her go.
As time went by, Joo Mi actually became really good and liked going to rapping classes everyday. She started rapping at 12. She rapped for 5 years before hearing that SM was holding free auditions. She immediately went for it and rapped her heart out. They immediately told her that she'll become a trainee and start training. But since she still had one year of high school left, she dropped out and decided to focus on training instead. After 3 years, she finally debuted in the group, Annecy.
