Esmeral is known for having fine clothing from scratch and wealthy. The townspeople are stuck up and likes to get into other peoples business and tries to interfere with their life, espcially Naeuns family. Esmeral is a big city, but with lots of trees surrounding the kingdom. The men in the kingdom tend to act agressive when it comes to their things.
Moon Naeun is the youngest out of her siblings. Her family would spoil her with gifts, but Naeun hates when people spoil her due to the fact everyone will say she is a "spolied brat", but thats not true. She was geneurine towrds everyone. When she was 10 she and her brother Jiyoung went into town for a circus show and Naeun at point was excited when she saw a woman holding two bladed fans and used it as a weapon. Naeun Begged and Begged Jiyoung to meet her and have her teach her how to use the fans. Jiyoung and Naeun made their way to the fan lady and Naeun was admirng about the fans and that she wanted to learn, the lady smiled and agreed to it. Jiyoung was smiling at his sister and was happy that she was different from any other girl who didn't like weapons. Naeun was a fast learner she has been fighting and making use of the bladed fans for 8 years along with bow and arrow taught by her brother. She had to keep it hidden from her dad otherwise he would punish her for using weapons. Her dad wants her to be a "trophy wife" but she was majorly against it and wanted to be free and do things her way. Seunghyun didn't like the fact her dad pressures her to be a perfect class lady. He didn't want her to be some housewife, she has so much potential to do things.
When Naeun was 15 she went into the woods to clear her mind from a huge fight with Seunghyun and her dad about getting married at age 18. Naeun didn't want to be wed to a stranger, she didn't want to be stuck in one place pleasing the "husband" When Naeun was walking into the woods she sat by a small creek silently crying and stressing. She wanted to leave, but didn't want to leave her mom or her brothers. When she relaxed for a few she was about to leave but as soon as she got up she saw a hungary looking black wolf with gold eyes Naeun was panicking and crying she wanted to scream, but she was scared to make any sound before the wolf would get her. The black wolf lunged and tried to take Naeun, but there was a white wolf with blue eyes, lunging against the black wolf and as they fought Naeun hid behind a tree/Bush, she was closing her eyes and hoping the white wolf was fine. She stilll had her eyes close, but she felt something wet on her shoulder and she slightly opened to see the white wolf nuzzling against her arm comforting her. Naeun was deep in shock by the wolf behavior and out of habit she hugged it tight and cried. She decided to keep him as a campanion, but the only problem was that she has to hide him which she found an old shelter that no one uses. Naeun was happy to have her companion keeping her company. She told Jiyoung and he freaked out and was mad, but he promised her not to say anything.
By the time she hit 18 everyone was already perparing a "arranged" marriage and Naeun was furious on the inside, for once in her life she has never yelled and or acted stubborn in front of her family or strangers, but in this case all the servants had force her to wear a tradional wedding dress and Naeun was infront of her family glaring at them and ignoring their compliments, her dad had took her arm and hold it tightly telling her to shape up or he will kill her wolf. Naeun eyes widened and looked down and put on a fake smile, while Jiyoung looked dissappoitned, Naeun loved her wolf "Namu" he was was comfort zone where she tells her secrets. Her mom held Naeuns hand but Naeun refused to hold it instead she had strangers smiling at her and complimenting her she nodded and smiled as much as she can. Her father was talking to another man who they both seemed grateful and happy, but she felt someone shoving and pushing her into a quiet room that was Isolated. She yelled and sweared under her breathe. She sighed and sat on the ground, then she felt someone watching her across the room. Naeun glared at the good looking man who was dressed in wedding clothing. Naeun and the stranger said nothing, but kept looking until Naeun had told him "Don't touch me, I won't touch you, dont treat me like a housewife, and lastly let me have my freedom at times." she said in a serious voice and she noticed the guy having a sad smile and agreed to her terms which she was shock. The man who was named Suho and he was an only child from another kingdom (idk which one) they both sat quietly with awkward silence until he told her "I will give you whatever freedom you need, but I want you to be by my side. Also I'm not supposed to say this, but I like girls who are different" as he told her that she felt something warm on the inside and she nodded and thanked him.
After that day they both mutally agreed to wait on their wedding because she didn't want to be force and neither did Suho. They are somewhat friends, but not close they talk and hangout and go hunting, but she half of the time leaves him to go out to the woods or see Hyemi. She felt bad for Suho, but this was the agreement she doesn't know if she loves him or not. She stays contact with her family and her pressures her to have a kid and Naeun doens't want kids
Now she lives with Suho but they sleep sepretaely which makes her dad pissed and his dad a little more understanding. Whenever Naeun goes back home her father would lecture her and hit at times for being disobident, but she never says anything. She talk to Jiyoung a lot and asks for adivce while her adn Seungnhyun never talk since hes busy with the kingdom. She often goes hunting with Namu to pratice her fighting skills
